The Edinburgh Driving School

68, 1 Salamander St, EH6 7JY, Edinburgh

Welcome to The Edinburgh Driving School, where students are individuals and driving lessons are enjoyable! We are a small independent driving school located in Edinburgh, specializing in manual driving lessons for everyone from absolute beginners to those seeking to refresh their driving skills.

At the core of our philosophy is a passion for education and a commitment to producing safe, confident drivers. Since 2007, we have taught thousands of learner drivers, helping them to achieve their driving license through our diverse lessons and professional teaching techniques by DVSA approved instructors.

We do not pay to be listed as ‘best’ on sites like Yelp; instead, we have earned our reputation through the satisfaction of our students. Feel free to check out our 5-star Google reviews showcasing positive experiences.

Our driving lessons are flexible, tailored to meet your needs, from absolute beginners to an extended practical test preparation. For an enjoyable and affordable pathway to your driving license, simply complete our inquiry form.

Pricing for lessons is competitive, starting at £90 for 2-hour lessons, with block booking discounts available. Safety and confidence on the road are just a step away – contact us to begin your journey towards obtaining your driving license!

Fantastic experience: A big thank you to my instructor Dougie for helping me pass my driving test, he is very patient, professional and good motivator ✨. I would highly recommend Dougie as an instructor for anyone wanting to learn how to drive.
