Fantastic experience: Kate is an amazing instructor! I have had lessons before however Kate really took the time to explain everything to me. Kate has an excellent way of showing you how to go about doing the manoeuvres and her tips are easy to remember. I have managed to pass 1st time with Kate! She really is wonderful and I am very grateful for having her as my instructor!

Fantastic experience: The best couple of months of my life learning and progressing every week. It was completely stress free and relaxed. I couldn't ask for a better driving instructor I would've wanted to go with. And thanks Kate for dealing with me when I was struggling at some points and helping me learn what I should be doing in certain situations. Again I really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: Kate is a brilliant driving instructor. If you are looking for a stress-free and enjoyable learning to drive experience for yourself or your child, learn with Kate. Learning to drive can be confusing and overwhelming at times. Kate’s calm and patient approach helped my daughter to restore confidence in her abilities, after it was dented by a shaky start (three lessons) with a different driving instructor. What a difference an excellent driving instructor like Kate can make! Kate’s well-structured lessons, clear instructions, thorough explanations, and detailed notes helped my daughter enormously in her learning. It was a pleasure to see my daughter progressing steadily under Kate’s instruction, becoming a skilled and confident driver, and passing a driving test at first attempt with only four minors. She enjoyed her driving lessons with Kate very much. Kate is the best driving instructor you can ever wish for. I am so happy I found you, Kate. A huge thank you from all of us!

Fantastic experience: Kate was a fantastic instructor. Very thorough and ensured I was prepared for not only the tests but also for everyday driving. We went through various scenarios and as a nervous driver she not only brought my skills up but also my confidence. Kate clearly communicated what was required and gave me plenty of opportunities to ask questions and discuss what I was learning. I would definitely recommend Kate to others.

Negative experience: Compare with the real professional instructor from Aberdeen LDC who finally took me through the test, this instructor let me experienced the terrible of woman's unstable mood. I wish I only gave her one course cost when the first time I meet her, not 10 hours fee . After receiving the payment for 10 hours, she started to humiliate me without any scruple, but I can't complain to her because she runs independent business and cann't get back remaining tuition according to the contract. I regret to belive other's review too easily. Spending time and money to meet the special psychological needs of some women will be difficult to erase in you memory. Don't be greedy for 10 hours tuition discounts, and insist on paying for one lesson each time, no matter how good the instructor's review. Many people are snobs, they may smile at others but roll their eyes at you.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Kate enough, she was wonderful and very patient with me as I was very nervous to begin with. I’ve now passed my test with only two minors and I don’t think I’d ever have got there without her. Her instruction was always very clear and thorough, I felt very well prepared for my test and for driving myself after it. She was always very calm and helped put me at ease, I would 110% recommend her to anyone I know looking to learn to drive.

Negative experience: Kate has a sarcastic and unpleasant manner. Her method was confusing and when I expressed this I was met with condescension.

Fantastic experience: After having a test booked for the first week of lockdown back in March, I was more than a little rusty when I phoned Kate for help! She was very helpful and patient, explaining everything very clearly. I panic booked a test (a little earlier than I maybe should have!) and she made it a priority to fit in lessons so I had the best chance of passing. Although I didn't pass first time, I managed to get a last minute cancellation for a test and passed with only one minor. I'm delighted, and would definitely recommend Kate to anyone looking to learn to drive. :)

Fantastic experience: Kate was recommended to me by my mom’s friend and I passed my first test with her help! Not only is she a wonderful teacher, I never once felt rushed, she always took her time with me. Although she’s patient, she is still thorough. She’s not the type of teacher who just focuses on what you need to do. She also tries to know you as a person, which is lovely especially with the stress of learning how to drive for the first time. When I first started driving with Kate, I wasn’t familiar with the roads or the territory, as I haven’t lived here for very long, but she helped me through it and taught me everything I needed to know. I learned a lot of things from her, as I’m sure other people have and will continue to as well. She is nothing short of an amazing and knowledgable teacher who will get you to where you need to be in the world of driving.

Fantastic experience: passed first time with only three minors! I can not recommend Kate highly enough!!! Having had two previous driving instructors and learning on and off for three years i had little hope of ever passing my test, but then with Kate’s hard work and outstanding patience I managed in less than four months! Kate is such a lovely lady who always makes you feel at ease in the car, she knows how to push you to make progress without making you uncomfortable and just genuinely just wants you to do well. Throughout my time learning with Kate i never felt rushed or that i was just “another student” to her, like i had previously experienced. I honestly can not fault Kate, she had her work cut out for her with me as i was not an easy student (i would happy go 10mph for the rest of my life). I was a very nervous driver having gone from learning on an island where the only traffic was sheep to aberdeen and she was always very patient with me and never pushed me too much. Overall Kate made the lessons enjoyable for me, which i never thought possible. Thank you so much again Kate!!

Negative experience: Not just the worst driving instructor on the planet but a really horrid individual.

Fantastic experience: Passed the first time with only 2 minor faults. My experience with Kate was absolutely fantastic. I had years of prior driving experience in different countries but had developed many wrong habits. She helped me correct those and get me familiar with the UK system very efficiently. She is very thorough and vigilant, and catches the smallest mistakes you make. The mock tests with her were more intensive that the real test. I highly recommend Kate Dunn School of Motoring to anyone with or without previous driving experience.

Fantastic experience: I just called her for an automatic car driving lessons and since she only has manual she recommended another person to me. Not many people do that. I wish i was gonna do manual because she seems to be a very nice person. I would recommend her to anyone.
