Fantastic experience: I strongly recommend Tehmina as a teacher. I felt everything was explained to me so well in an easy and friendly way. I went on to pass first attempt using the skills and encouragement given to me by Tehmina.

Fantastic experience: I had tried and abandoned learning to drive at 17 because I unknowingly had ADHD, so decided to try again as an adult to learn automatic and give myself the best chance of finally passing. Tehmina was accomodating in doing her best to understand the challenges I might have as a result and making suggestions based on this to help me learn and remember better and give me the best chance on the test, including recommending the best day and time to book a test. She was a good level of strictness for me where she was clear with her feedback and letting me know what I needed to adjust or improve while still being calm and patient. She also didn't over complicate or over explain things to the point it felt like too much info to keep in mind that wasn't even necessary to think about, e.g. she didn't focus on or emphasise things that I wasn't actually even making mistakes in. She does some fairly unique things that I think helps avoid wasted time but more helpfully also means that you can get used to people being in the car with you, so you are comfortable with this before going solo after your test. I also found that the reference points she taught, and the advice on how to fix when your initial attempt to park goes wrong, was great because it made me more confident from even my first attempt at parking that I would know what to do even if I got it wrong, so it wasn't a big built up worry to try to park and get it perfect straight away. If/when I got mixed up or confused about something or the different reference points or lanes to be in or the routes to take at roundabouts etc we would stop somewhere and Tehmina would go over these things properly in a way I could focus on what she was saying, and would do so by drawing helpful diagrams to illustrate her point, so I could remember and study them, which was super helpful considering I easily forget and mix things up. Tehmina was also very, very flexible and accomodating; she basically sacrificed all her weekends and worked very hard to be able to accommodate me on an intensive course in the time off of work that I had, and would adjust lesson days times up to the night before. If she did this, she made sure that any such changes were accounted for in making sure that I got all of the driving minutes I had paid for at the appropriate rates, and if/when I was due any money back she didn't wait for me to enquire, she raised and did this herself, including recommending how I could claim back money for a test cancelled due to weather. She's also just a nice and friendly person, and I believe she can speak multiple languages and works with people from many different cultures without issue.

Fantastic experience: I've been driving for the last 10+ years outside the UK and needed to convert my driving license to a British one within one year after arriving to UK. After failing the first test and being humbled by that, I took a few lessons from Tehmina to understand the specifics of driving in the UK and what examiners are looking for during the exam. These are generally small things but considered big enough to fail the test. Tehmina helped me understand these small bits and pieces, and managed to squeeze in everything I needed to know in a few lessons. If you're still looking for a driving intructor, go to Tehmina; she will take care of you.

Tehmina very kindly took me on and over the course of 3 days taught me her methods so that I was test ready. I told myself I was going to be on her website someday. Tehmina is the only instructor that believes in you and will encourage you to reach the sky. She is very patient and extremely passionate about what she does. She has earned the G.O.A.T of all instructors, I don’t know how she does it but she really knows her onions. I am glad to have passed through Automatic Driving School Aberdeen. After having driven for over 10years back home, and took a break from driving for over two full years, Tehmina took me through it all as I had obviously become rusty over time, she built my confidence and I did my test once and passed today. I am still over the moon and I will greatly miss her prompts when driving, some of which are “carry on, carry on”, “Pick up speed”, “check mirror and signal”. I asked her several questions in messages in her off timing, when she was not giving me the lesson but I always received the satisfactory answers within same day. Fantastic experience: I have most amazing Friend, adviser and Instructor, Tehmina :) I was afraid of appearing in my test so was not booking but she gave me confidence that I can do and I should book my test. Fantastic experience: Tehmina is an excellent driving instructor, she is patient, calm and friendly and tailored each of my driving lessons to my ability and areas I needed to improve. I started completely from scratch and within 9 lessons I was able to pass my test on my second try (first test I only failed because I made an in error in judgement which was completely my own fault). Tehmina is VERY knowledgeable and fitted me in on her days off which I very much appreciated. Due to work commitments and because I wanted to pass as soon as possible, Tehmina went out her way to fit me in and it was worth every penny. I am so grateful for her and her time. Fantastic experience: Being an experienced driver (20 years in Brazil and US), I can guarantee without doubt I would have failed the practical element of the driving test if I hadn’t practiced ahead of time with Tehmina. She is an amazing instructor that prepared me to succeed in the test by teaching me the many insights needed for the UK test as well as making me familiar with the streets of Aberdeen that would be used as the test route. Not only working on physical elements of the test, she worked on the emotional side, installing confidence and making sure I remain calm which would be essential for the test duration. She is focussed on the job and practising mock tests with real feedback meant I could go into the actual examination with ease.
