Fantastic experience: I’ve just passed my lorry license with John! Great instructor, you really can’t ask any better and very strong recommend if you go with roadwise driving school!

Negative experience: So left a review a few years back but looks like it was removed. I had one lesson with Roddie Munro and it was the most awkward experience. Everything he taught me was frankly wrong and his car was old and rickety. At one point I kept brushing his knee when chabging gear bevausr it was so cramped inside. I wouldn't have paid if I could have gotten away with it. These positive reviews for him sound like another universe

Fantastic experience: Had such a great experience learning with Andy Cunningham from Roadwise driving school and could not recommend him enough! After years of stopping and starting lessons with different instructors and struggling to pass tests I finally passed my test last month with only one fault and have the independence I need :) Andy has a wealth of knowledge from years of experience and explains things in a comprehensive way. He was very patient with me and helped me build the confidence I needed to pass my test. I can't thank him enough for all his help :)

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Roadwise driving school and instructor Ross Richardson for anyone looking to learn to drive. After a few failed driving test attempts with a different instructor, I took a break from driving before deciding to try again with Roadwise. Ross was very patient, supportive and enthusiastic, giving me the confidence I needed to finally pass my test! Thank you to both the driving school and my instructor Ross!

Negative experience: Their drivers are past retirement age, grumpy and rude. My instructor put me off driving and lose my confidence. Not recommended at all.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Roadwise. Ross Richardson was a great instructor taking me through the whole journey of learning how to drive safely and well. Ross was very friendly and we got on very well from the start. When I made a mistake he was very calm and relaxed pointing out at things to improve on very clearly. I would definitely recommend learning to drive with roadwise I certainly had a great time on my journey.

Fantastic experience: I used Roadwise for my driving practice and test and it is an experience that I will always value. Dave (David Watson) was my instructor, he is a very good instructor, quite patient and never tired of repeating himself even when my driving was a nightmare! From the first day he taught me road confidence and we took it from there. I had a nice experience because I was not put under any form of pressure, the trick is to just follow his instructions and you will finish off good. Oh yea! Fantastic experience: I was having John Heffel as my instructor, and I have just passed my driving test today. I am confident to say that he is a really good instructor, he is nice and patient. I would recommend him for any one who need an instructor in the future.

Fantastic experience: My daughter Chloe age 15 did the headstart 14+ session on sunday with Jonathan. She thought it was an amazing experience and achieved alot . We would both recommend this session . Chloe will be doing it again in the future . My son also did this session and went on to pass his test 1st time with one minor .Thank you Roadwise team .

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend this driving school to anyone looking for a driving instructor. They provided me professional instructors, very knowledgeable and patient. I happened to have two instructors in the end as I had to take a break in my driving lessons due to personal reasons. Learned most of the manoeuvres and key aspects with Bob Haddock. Finished off with a few lessons with Andy Cunningham, who helped me build confidence. And I passed my driving test on the first attempt with only two minor faults. Would recommend booking lessons during daylight and most probably a couple of lessons per week. Thank you, Roadwise!

Fantastic experience: If your looking for a driving school, I would highly recommend Roadwise . I picked them after reading many positive reviews. My driving instructor was called Steve , and I personally can’t praise him and thank him enough. I passed my driving test first time today , and I know that was down to Steve’s teaching. He is such a lovely friendly instructor , who makes you feel very relaxed, which for me was very important as I’m a very anxious person . He explains everything very well , and is always there for you if you have any concerns or worries. Even when you thought you didn’t do to well on you’re lesson , he was always pointing all the good things that you done and how much you have progressed . So always came away feeling positive . It was lovely to see how happy he was for me passing my test today , because of him he’s helped me change mine and my daughters life’s today , and for that I will always be grateful.

Fantastic experience: I found Roadwise when I was looking at reviews as I knew that I would be really nervous learning to drive and I can be a bit too sensitive sometimes, so it was really important to me that I tried to find someone who was going to be patient with me. I was very lucky to get Steve Clegg as my instructor who was patient and a fantastic instructor. He was great at learning me to drive and as well as calmly going over any mistakes, he was really good at giving me praise too which I think helped me a lot. A few times when the nerves got the better of me or when I struggled with how to do something, Steve had no problem sitting and talking through what was bothering me. I liked the fact that I was comfortable enough to tell him these things in the first place and know that he would listen to me and help calm me down. Thanks to Steve's help, patience and encouragement I managed to pass my driving test first time with two minors. I honestly can't thank him enough and I'm very happy that I've managed to do it.

Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test last week. As an older driver, with a string of learning attempts, I was nervous and not very confident. Doug from roadwise was incredibly patient and helped me get a first time pass in just 13 lessons!

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic experience from my instructor Dave. His constructive criticism helped me fix the poor habbits I had picked up since my test over a year ago and instilled new ideas of properly seeing the road infront of me and giving yourself time and space when driving in any conditions. Would recommend the experience to anyone as it changes your perspective of how much on a daily basis you're missing when driving and the techniques that could potentially save your life.

Positive experience: I have recently moved up to Aberdeen to study at the University. I had taken around 20 lessons and passed my theory test before moving to Aberdeen. Within around 5 lessons with Roadwise I passed my test first time. I would highly recommend them to others

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first time thanks to Steve, I was a very nervous driver but Steve always had patience with me and helped me to gain confidence in something I never thought I'd grasp. I tried learning with 2 other instructors before I found Roadwise, after having a nightmarish experience with other instructors I was so pleased to finally find someone who wanted to help me learn. I couldn't recommend Roadwise, and Steve in particular enough, even if you're nervous to start driving or you have also had bad experiences I wouldn't hesitate to get in contact with them!

We had a great laugh and he helped with the professional side of things also! At first was very nervous but once we started I got into it. Fantastic experience: I started off driving with a different driving school but I found I wasn't progressing and my confidence was decreasing. Roadwise was recommended to me and George Rae was suggested given my situation and my previous experience with driving. George is fantastic - very calm and knowledgeable, a completely different kind of instructor from my previous. His approach rapidly regained my confidence and as a result my driving improved and I got through my test. I am planning on doing my Pass Plus driving with George. Fantastic experience: I choose to take my driving lessons with Roadwise driving school after receiving excellent feedback from my sister who took lessons and pass her test with them. Since the first lesson, my instructor Steve was very helpful, very patient and guide me through all the driving process and rules in a very informative and useful way. Always being positive and with clear instructions all the learning journey was very productive! For someone who comes and have driven from outside UK , I can say his teaching style is highly effective and very helpful, and I’d highly recommend to take driving lessons with Steve. Overall, great results!

Fantastic experience: My instructor John was honestly so good, cannot rate him highly enough. Fantastic experience: I came to Roadwise with the need to learn to drive as quickly as possible given my limited stay in Aberdeen and i can totally recommend Roadwise for their safe approach and experience. I had driving lessons with Dave first but realised after a number of hours that i simply need more time to get used to a manual car and the left side of the road -which is when Dave advised me to try an automatic car with Chris. Both Dave and Chris are great instructors with a different approach but oustanding skills. Dave puts more accent on explaining what you are doing wrong and making sure you understand before moving further. Chris is great in building confidence in people who like myself think they are super bad at driving and will never learn. Dave was checking on me and following my progress until my final lessons. And Chris kindly offered his help if i had any problems with my new car on the road. I want to thank Roadwise for their personal approach and feeling of a family and can recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I passed my test recently (1st attempt) thanks to George Rae! I moved to Aberdeen from New York 2 years ago and had to learn how to drive on the opposite side of the road, opposite side of the car and manual - to say I was nervous is an understatement. I had originally taken a few lessons with Red Driving School but my instructor just wasn't for me to put it nicely and after reading a lot of reviews and meeting Jurgita at a business breakfast I decided I would give Roadwise a shot so I emailed Jurgita who kindly put me in contact with George. George is very precise in ensuring you not only learn how to drive but understand how everything in the car works; he is very patient and gives constructive feedback and listens. Whether you are a novice driver or even have prior experience I couldn't recommend anyone more than George to ensure you are learning the best driving techniques to be safe on the road. Fantastic experience: I had the best of instructors and it shows by a pass on my first attempt. My instructor was wonderful to me and had limitless patience when I kept getting things wrong. He explained everything I needed to do step by step and made manoeuvres easier to learn. My instructor was always positive but kept me clear headed as I have a tendency to get distracted. He worked around my horribly busy routine and went out of his way to help me fit my lessons in. Thanks again to Dave and the Roadwise Team!

Fantastic experience: Thank you to John Heffell for all his efforts in getting me to my test (and organising a backup car) after the handbrake broke in the hour beforehand. He couldn't have done any more to help. I only had a few lessons with John but I would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I've previously been with AA and spent around £700 and they kept saying i wasn't ready so i decided to view roadwise page and seen the same reviews so i wanted to try them out as they are based in the building i work in and it's the best decision i've made i wished i went with roadwise when i first started my lessons i will for ever recommend roadwise to new drivers. They have great instructors and great teaching methods i felt easy driving with Jim.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience learning how to drive with Chris. I passed my driving test recently with only two minors! I have been driving since and people who are in the car with me are surprised that I only recently got my licence. I owe this to Chris and his great teaching methods because I believe he has been teaching me how to not just past the test but to drive properly after I pass to. He always treated each lesson with so much positivity and confidence which made it very easy to learn and all my anxieties about driving to fade away. Fantastic experience: After failing my first attempt at a driving test, I contacted Roadwise for lessons. Dave Watson took me out initially to assess my driving skills and informed me that I wasn't a bad driver but I needed to become a confident driver. So he referred me to Chris. One word for Chris - FANTASTIC!!!!!!! He made me feel so confident, had good stories to tell and told from the first lesson that I was going to pass my test this time around, and he was right. Patient, Clear with his instructions, left reversing had never been easier.... After 12 hours of lessons over a few weeks and I passed my driving test with only 4 minors. Dave was in the 'background' and called me a few times to see how I was getting on and kept encouraging me. Thank you so much Chris and Dave!!! I couldn't have passed without you......

He explained driving techniques in a simple way that an inexperienced driver (as I was) could easily understand how to approach road routes and situations. Your driving experience was valuable from the beginning in making me feel confident in my abilities to drive the best I can and helping me pass my test successfully. Apart from being an excellent instructor, he is a very nice, patient and friendly person. I enjoyed every lesson and would certainly recommend Chris to everyone seeking a quality driving lessons. “Chris ,thank you so much again!"

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my test after having brilliant lessons with Dave Watson from Roadwise Driver Training I would completely recommend Dave and Roadwise! I really enjoyed each 2 hour lesson with Dave and felt very confident by the test day. He gave really clear instructions and told me exactly why I'd gone wrong every time I made a mistake and was very patient when I kept making them! Now that I've passed I miss all the lessons but feel very confident to drive independently!
