Fantastic experience: It was horrible weather but that just added to a fantastic day. My son loved his present driving the off road roads. Ian certainly knew his stuff about off roading in the most picturesque places ever. Definitely recommend this. 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: Expertly guided through the snowy North Wales mountains… My friends and recently had a day out with Ian, it was excellent from start to finish, Ian’s knowledge of the lanes was really good and his technical know how guided us safely along the lanes in tricky conditions. The choice of lanes offered spectacular views, further enhanced by the snow fall. I would whole heartedly recommend Ian and 90 Dirty Adventures to anyone considering a day off roading. Great value too, get it booked!

Fantastic experience: I recently enjoyed a fun off-roading adventure, and it was a fantastic experience. The day started with a friendly welcome from Ian, who was eager to share his love for off-roading. The terrain featured a nice mix of rocky trails and gentle inclines, keeping things interesting without being too overwhelming. The vehicle I drove was well-maintained and perfect for the journey, making it easy to navigate the paths. A highlight was reaching a viewpoint after a moderate climb. The scenery was beautiful and a great reward for the effort. Safety was prioritized throughout the day, with clear instructions to help everyone feel comfortable. Overall, this off-roading day was a pleasant escape from the routine. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a bit of off road adventure!

Fantastic experience: Top day with Ian, loved driving the Land Rover discovery round Wales especially watching Ian’s lamb catching prowess, whilst reuniting the young animal with its mother Ian slipped and heatbutted the vehicles bonnet, a true sight to behold and was worth the fee alone I would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic day out. Ian is a great instructor and even better company. With great planning get flexibility to adapt to what we wanted the day could not have gone better. We had first timers used to driving on the other side of the road and Ian had them driving with confidence. Thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had a great day out for my birthday thanks to Ian, who even bought a birthday cake along! Was great to be able to actually drive the car so much, and the variety in the paths we were taken down provided an enjoyable challenge. Ian kept us very entertained throughout, and the wet Welsh weather added to the whole experience.

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I did the all-day Land Rover experience and we were not disappointed! We drove through some amazing Welsh landscapes, that even the rain couldn't spoil (if anything it gave the area a very dramatic feeling). Ian was knowledgeable and friendly, he guided us and taught us tips and tricks when driving. He carefully planned the itinerary/day from A to Z. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic day to celebrate my son's birthday. Ian took onboard some of the issues discussed and came up with a brilliant days worth of green lane driving experience. Ian is easy going and with a great sense of humour and he even brought a cake to celebrate Highly recommended if you want a great off roading experience.

Fantastic experience: We had a great day out with Ian around North Wales! The day was perfectly planned with the ‘roads’ getting more technical and challenging as the day went on. Our lunch stop in the mountains was lovely. The experience was a surprise birthday gift, would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: We had a really good off-road day out with Ian in his Defender 90 bouncing around a quarries and moorland. He's an excellent coach and even got my wife (who was very nervous about the whole thing) to take the wheel and get both up and down some features that were a real challenge. Fun day.

Fantastic experience: I had a great day with Ian and the team at Rochdale Quarry. Full on Land Rover Defender experience. A lot tougher than it looks but enjoyed every minute of it. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Loved it! First time off roading. I Specifically wanted to try this in a Defender 90 which didn’t disappoint. These vehicles are as amazing as they say they are, so capable. Maybe a bit marmite for those used to creature comforts but I just didn’t care. Had a great day up and down the hills of Wales learning what the truck can do. As has been said Ian gives just enough instruction but lets you Get on with it. Smiles all round and looking forward to doing it all again. Thanks!!

Fantastic experience: We had an incredible day out, a full day in North Wales, in a Defender, on a range of terrains and routes which Ian had researched. When the roads stopped on the Sat Nav, we kept going, and it really was a mix of different 'roads'. It was just the two of us with Ian, and his support car Dave and Hayley following who were lovely. North Wales is beautiful and exploring like this was just great. Highly recommend doing it, this was a surprise for my birthday so can confirm it's a bloody lovely gift too. And yes, it's made me want to get a Defender even more.

Positive experience: My family and I spent a beautiful day out with Ian in a new Land Rover. The scenery was beautiful and Ian is a great guide! The time we spent off roading and at our requested stop point of Zip World Forest was genuinely great! I'm giving this experience 3 stars due to an unfortunate communication break down. We ended up spending about 5 of our 8 hours on paved roads. Overall the day was pleasant, but certainly not the off road adventure I was hoping to give my family.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Tour took us around the hills near Llangollen and Moel Famau. It started to snow while we were up there which made the experience much more interesting. Ian was funny, highly experienced and made learning to drive the Land Rover much easier than I thought it would be. A lot of time had been spent planning and working out the best routes which we could go on which made the whole day fly by. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great day out of off-roading. Took routes near llangollen and corwen. Ian was a top bloke who was very knowledgeable about the car and knew its limits. Very fun routes lots of rutty muddy and very steep hills (the photos don’t do it justice) lovely snowy day as well made for a brilliant day out 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic experience: Spent the day with Ian & his team in North Wales driving Land Rovers and it was an outstanding experience. Ian & the team pick us up in 3 Land Rovers (2 Defenders & a Discovery) and drove 7 of us over to North Wales for a day of 4x4 driving up and down the hills & mountains. We all got to drive each of the vehicles, and it was amazing fun. Ian & the team were great fun, very professional, great sense of humour, and it was a pleasure spending the time with them. They know their stuff and are very passionate about it, sharing their knowledge and happy to answer any and all questions. They went out of their way to make sure we all got what we wanted from the experience, and I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a day of 4x4 driving.

Fantastic experience: A "driving experience" that is so much more than just driving! After putting our trip on hold through various lockdowns we were very excited to finally get on the road with Ian to explore North Wales in one of his Landrover Defenders. There was a second couple booked on the same date which worked out well as meant both couples got to drive a Defender 90 and a 110 alongside Ian and his second driver, Martin. This was purchased as a present for my husband who absolutely loved getting to drive these amazing vehicles in the way they were designed - off proper roads, over different terrain and putting them through their paces with guidance along the way (as much or as little as needed). I don't think we were quite expecting just how spectacular the trip would be however - you really are in the wilds of North Wales! If you are simply looking for an experience for an hour to try out a defender, this may not be for you. The trip out with Ian is a full day with lots of driving but also exploring hidden spots of North Wales which really are not to be missed. If you want a proper "experience" then you should definitely drop Ian a line so he can start planning your adventure. Our thanks to Ian and Martin for an excellent day - great chat, great vehicles, great scenery and great cake - what more can you ask for!

Fantastic experience: Not one for leaving reviews generally, but after my day out with 90 Dirty Adventures I feel compelled to leave a review. This day was by far above and beyond anything I expected it would be. I was able to do so much driving!!! With that and Ian's expert knowledge and experience i felt totally confident, even on the really challenging trails. It was clear Ian is very knowledgeable and passionate about the environment and what driving has to offer. My day just totally exceeded all my expectations of what a 4 x 4 driving experience had to offer. This was a whole days worth of driving on several trails and I was individually catered for. Lunch and refreshments were enjoyed and much needed in one of Wales most breath-taking landscapes. The afternoon was also just non stop adrenaline. I cannot believe just how much I was able to do in the Landrover Defender, drove through the famous Corwen Carwash and negotiated some more tricky trails. The footage and pictures from my day will be treasured ... until my next time. I will definatelly be booking another day with Ian very soon. Thank you so much Ian for a totally superb day and I will see you again soon for another Total 4x4 Adventure!

Fantastic experience: Got this day out as a xmas present and booked the trip with ian. Communication through the booking process was excellent. When we arrived ian explained how the day would go and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The defender 110 is an amazing vehicle, ian showed us what it was capable of and took us to see some beautiful scenery. There were 3 of us and it felt like we had a lot of time each at the wheel and with ian tuition learned the basic of offroading. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: 90 dirty adventure was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone! Unlike other experiences, you’re behind the wheel for hours upon hours, it isn’t all over as soon as you get started. We were out for most of the day, over all sorts of terrain, having an amazing time. You’re encouraged to splash your way through puddles and make the most of your time behind the wheel. It’s all about the fun! This was a birthday surprise and I received a birthday cake during the drive, which was a very nice touch. The instructor (Ian) spoke of a number of past experiences outlining other people’s adventures and how they were able to specify what they wanted to see on their trip out. I thought it was good to know. Loved it!
