Fantastic experience: Passed today with only 1 minor. Steve was brilliant throughout would recommend!
Thanks Dan. You did a great drive. Drive safely mate and all the best for the future.
Fantastic experience: Steve is a superb driving instructor I passed first time only had 3 minors, very patient and knowledgeable, I would recommend him to anyone who would like an easy pass ✅
Thanks Callum. All the best for the future and drive safely.
Negative experience: If I could give Steve 0 stars I would. My daughter has had numerous lessons with Steve with very little progression. she has mainly driven around Cherrysutton were he has continuously grabbed the wheel ( even when no danger ahead),has driven her around more than she has driven herself and shouted at her. She has now had a few lessons with a new instructor and has come on leaps and bounds so I know the problem doesn't lie with her. Every driving instructor I have spoken to know all about Steve and how her treats his students. My partner spoke to him but he said he was busy when her tried to discuss any issues. Total waste of money a partial refund would be nice Steve Thanks for your reply Steve. You’re right, I wasn’t in the car and can only go on what my daughter told me. However, I have spoken to 2 people who stopped lessons with you for doing exactly the same thing, including driving yourself and staying predominately around Cherrysutton.
Firstly, it is unfortunate you feel the way you do. If you read other reviews regarding my instruction you will find them to be overwhelmingly positive. You say I grabbed the steering wheel unnecessarily when there was no danger. How do you know? You were not present in the car. I have a duty of care to keep my pupils and other road users safe. I cannot allow a learner to go wide around a blind corner when I don't know what is around the corner. I cannot allow a learner to go too close to a parked car, as the door might open. I make no apology for keeping your daughter safe. The last couple of lessons she had with me I felt she was making a bit more progress. I wish her all the best in her future driving career.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant.I have been with previous instructors before and none could teach me as good as Steve he has been very patient with me and always kept calm even if I have not. I cannot thank him enough , truly a great instructor.
Thanks Hayden. Drive safely mate.
