Mid Kent Motorcycle Training

Fantastic experience: I had a great day with Tia at MKMT on the 1st of February. I was a bit rusty and slightly nervous having done my CBT a couple of times before but never progressing to riding full time. Tia was calm and patient with all three students, made sure we clearly understood and on the road ride made sure we stopped frequently to ensure I was comfortable before moving on to more complicated situations. It was a great experience and I feel confident about going out on my own. Thanks very much

Fantastic experience: MKMT have been brilliant from start to finish. I've just passed and got my full license. Have done all my training from CBT through to Mod 2 with Dave and Woody, and they were both fantastic. Really clear and calm with their instruction, plus both friendly and approachable. And, clearly passionate about what they do. Paul was always really helpful and accommodating with bookings. Would highly recommend MKMT!

Fantastic experience: Had the pleasure of doing my CBT with Tia as my instructor this Saturday, and went from a complete beginner with 0 motorcycle experience, to feeling great on the road and getting my CBT certificate by the end of the day. The course was thorough, and Tia's energy was just great to keep things relaxed and fun without taking away from the importance of being safe at all times. Got to meet paul and a few others as well on the day, you guys have a great team at the Aylesford center. Will absolutely be returning for my DAS soon

Fantastic experience: Recently did my CBT at the Sittingbourne site and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Paul was great at getting me all booked in and Dave our instructor was very good at explaining things and very efficient at getting us through each exercise which culminated in to a very enjoyable ride out through the surrounding town and countryside. All the bikes and equipment they use are well maintained. I will be looking to start my mod 1 and 2 training very soon and would definitely recommend Mid Kent Motorcycle Training to anyone wanting to get on to two wheels. Five stars ️

Fantastic experience: I just want to say a massive thankyou to the guys at midkent motorcycle training centre then level of training you get from these guys is amazing they got me through mod 1 and mod 2 with a clean sheet woody and Dave are really nice guys and will train you up to a really good standard I felt so nervous mon both tests but as long as you listen to the guys they will tell you what you need to brush up on their so relaxed and make you feel at ease I can't recommend midkent motorcycle training centre enough thanks guys I can't wait to get out on my bike for the first ride. Fantastic experience: Completed both my CBT (2 years ago with Woody) and my full A licence (a few weeks ago with Dave) at MKMT. The instructors clearly know their stuff and were were extremely friendly and helpful. I would just like to express my gratitude for all their help on getting me on two wheels. If you are contemplating going for your CBT or more, you will not go wrong booking it with MKMT. If you're not too sure or a little nervous, arrange to go along to one of their sessions and they will soon ease any worries you have! Thanks again to Dave & Woody. They (and the other instructors) really are a credit to MKMT and the riding community in general.

Fantastic experience: I did my second CBT course yesterday with Dave (again) and had a great time despite the miserable weather. I found Paul to be responsive and willing via text and Dave i person is a great instructor. I would reccomend MKMT to anyone and everyone wishing to do their traing. I can't wait to do my big bike training and test with them soon. Keep up the great work guys!

Fantastic experience: Completed my A2 mod 1 and 2 with Dave and Woody fantastic instructors thanks to them passed first time on both. They really helped to make it clear how you should ride on the tests. Paul was extremely helpful across the entire week with any questions i had s will defiantly be returning for my DAS when i turn 21, highly recommend Mid Kent Motorcycles!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just completed my mod 1 and 2 and obtained my unrestricted A licence yesterday. My experience from CBT through to mod 2 has been wonderful. Dave and Woody are wonderful teachers, I’ve had both teach at different points in my training and you can’t go wrong with them. Paul is a great at organising the training and is flexible and responsive. All in all a great motorcycle school!

Fantastic experience: Just completed my Module 1 training with Dave at MKMT and really enjoyed it. What a knowledgeable and patient man. Clear and concise instruction which meant I passed the Mod 1 test. He quickly identified some bad habits I've got and is preparing me for Mod2. Training and tests sorted by Paul, whose very helpful. highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT under the tutelage of Mid Kent Motorcycle Training. Their instructions were clear, concise with patient instructors. Once I had passed my CBT, I rented a bike from them for the weekend to get some hours worth of experience, which I found beyond helpful. I wanted to complete my MOD1 and MOD2 training with them, but during the summer they were fully booked, which in itself is a sign of a good teaching method as they were much sort after. I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to the team. I have since passed my MOD1 and MOD2 and it all started here. Cheers

Fantastic experience: Just renewed my CBT and had Dave as the instructor. Had a thoroughly enjoyable day in the sunshine on a Bank Holiday. As a female rider I felt safe, supported and one of the gang. I highly recommend MKMT and will definitely go back if I ever decide to get a full licence.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend these guys highly enough! All the staff are great but Woody in particular is an effing legend and just has this magic way of putting you at ease straight away, he's really charming and always takes the time to complement you on the good things you're doing to help you improve rather than being negative about the things you're doing badly which might potentially knock your confidence. Paul, the owner, is hilarious. But they're also professional, efficient and reasonably-priced. They have done CBTs, A1, A2 and DAS for all our family. I always recommend this school to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with these guys then my mod 1 & 2 and passed with their expert tuition first time. Paul talked me through it all explaining the process clearly and easily. Organised it all for me clearly and without fuss. Detailed emailed backed up the conversations so knew exactly what was expected. Then the actual training was carried out by Woody and Dave. Perfect blend of concise teaching, detailed but easy to follow and helpful encouragement. Professional to a T but without being made to feel like a child in a classroom. 3 genuinely decent guys with a passion for what they do, great knowledge and a desire to help. Have no problem recommending without hesitation. If you are like me, thought about doing this for ages but hesitant, don't worry, these guys will look after you!

Fantastic experience: We cannot recommended this place enough. They really are a professional first class business. Dave is one of the best instructors we have come across. He was welcoming, polite, knowledgeable. Put the students at ease and made the whole day run smoothly. We had to move our date due to DVLA taking three months to issue a licence and the owner was so accomodating. You will not find a better training company.

Negative experience: My girlfriend trained with Tia at Aylesford. Initially I was impressed with her patient way of explaining, however it eventually became clear that she was just slow and mostly incompetent. The instructions given were incomprehensible and when asked for further explanation it was met with nonsense. I would recommend that you avoid this training company. The boss Paul also lied about me becoming rude (because the lesson was an hour late again) to Tia, so I don't doubt there will be some personal comments to follow this review. I'm happy to come and speak with you in person Paul if you wish to discuss my review. More lies Paul. As you know I am more qualified and experienced than Tia. I wasn't offering you a brawl, but a discussion. Stay away people.

Negative experience: Booked CBT test for Novemeber, was cancelled due to lockdown, re-booked for 4th December and then 4th of January.... cancelled again due to another lockdown. Sent emails and was told not to wait for them to contact but to contact them when government announces re-opening. Emailed beginning of April as government announced lifting restrictions on the 12th April and was told... i didnt turn up for 1st appointment on 4th of December so have now lost my place and they keeping my money (£150) STEER CLEAR! Guy is a clown whom has used the global pandemic as a way out to fleece peoples money. His attitude was abrupt and terrible from the off. Can only assume this was his intention to take peoples money and use the global pandemic as an excuse and then cheekly KEEP the money. Absolute shocking. Must be the only person benefiting from the country being in a rubbish situation. WELL DONE to PAUL... hope your proud of yourself! Will be popping down to see you after 12th April!!!

Fantastic experience: Booked my CBT with Mid Kent Motorcycle training. Paul was very helpful and replied to my queries and questions very quickly. Woody the instructor was very knowledgeable and a great tutor for a new rider that hasn't rode for many years. Thank you Paul and Woody.

Fantastic experience: Efficient email communication from Paul and a very well run CBT day with Dave. Friendly, clear explanations, easy to follow directions and tuition on the road, and frequent wiping down with disinfectant in these crazy times! Fantastic experience: A very professional and friendly place to learn. I did the DAS course on one of their MT07s. The training for Mod 1 was thorough and they train you well,they want you to pass. I picked up lots of useful tips and advice for Mod 2 and got some good experience of all types of roads and traffic conditions. The DAS course is demanding if you haven't ridden for some time so be prepared to put in the effort. The training team make learning fun and have a lot of experience so you will enjoy your training with MKMT

Fantastic experience: Had amazing day today training and doing my MOD 2 test all in 3 hours! Passed first time! Even tho i was riding for a long period of time with A2 license i though i was good enough and easily ready for my DAS, So when i came to MOD 2 i booked it with MKMT and i couldnt be more happier, the intrucator explained everything and more to make sure i know how to pass my test. and he helped me in the areas where i didnt think i needed improving. Overall great intructoirs great explaniations Defo will recoomend

Fantastic experience: I had such good fun training with Mid Kent motorcycle training. Anna made the mod 1 course fun and interesting. The bikes are all new or nearly new. Very well maintained. Instructors are very knowledgeable in the art of riding motorcycles. Thanks to mid Kent I passed my direct access mod 1 & 2 first time.

Fantastic experience: Woody and Dave were absolutely fantastic. Never got impatient with me and I always knew what I was doing right and what i was doing wrong. I passed both Mod 1 and 2 first time with flying colours. When I was advised to do an extra training session, i was a little worried that I am being milked but the mistakes I practiced in the extra session came up in Mod 2 and I aced it! Money well spent ! I am recommending these guys to all my friends. Well done MKMB! Keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for professional training then look no further. These guys helped train me through my CBT Mod 1 and now I am ready for Mod 2. Woody and Dave were excellent trainers with great experience and knowledge and I have learned how to be a safe rider thanks to them. Would recommend to anyone interested in learning the ropes or fine tuning their skills . Worth every penny.

I had Anna for my CBT and she was very patient and a great instructor. I then had Woody for my DAS. Woody is great on and off the bike, great advice and again very patient. Paul was also great and so helpful. i had never ridden a bike before and 4 weeks later i have passed my DAS course. Thank you MKMT it was an absolute pleasure.

Fantastic experience: I've done both my CBTs, my Mod 1 and Mod 2 training with these guys. They're always friendly, helpful and a pleasure to learn with. I passed my Mod 1 and 2 first time after some training with MKMT and recommend them highly to anyone looking at starting bike life or looking to get onto something bigger!!

Fantastic experience: Just done my CBT today after not riding a bike for almost 20 years. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Dave the instructor was brilliant and made me feel at ease from the second I arrived to the end. The training and care provided is second to none and worth every penny.
