Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT yesterday. Instructor Chris, kept the day light and enjoyable, taking the time to ensure each person on the course got the advice they needed in order to complete the day. I was very nervous prior to attending, however once we got going, it was clear we were in good hands and I had nothing to worry about. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to complete their CBT or further training.

Fantastic experience: Phoenix have worked hard for me every step of my training. I had time pressures, they got me on the courses I needed. Every single member of staff is amazing!... And I've met alot of them! Chris, Sam, Harry, Pepe, Sophie just to name a few. The phone team are also amazing! Everybody is soo friendly and knowledgeable! If you want to ride these are the ones to ride with!

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic experience at the Medway site, really professional instructor and had a lot of fun throughout the day while learning a lot.

Positive experience: I usually can't rate pheonix motorcycle training enough! My husband has used them three times over the last 4 years. Both first and second time were fantastic. However the instructor he had this time was awful! Told him he wasn't allowed to wear jeans (despite saying in the email that jeans are a minimum) my husband wore his timberland style work boots. (As stated in the email) and he was told he shouldn't be wearing them! Now in the email it states no soft shoes or trainers. But the other lad on the cbt course wore trainers and nothing was said. My husband made his instructor aware he has adhd, like he has the other two times he's done his cbt (when required not because he failed) and they made adjustments and were patient with him, this instructor was the complete opposite! After telling him about his adhd the instructor informed him if he failed he wouldnt be able to drive his moped home, and would be stranded, which to any other person with adhd or understands adhd sent him in to panic mode. His cbt was booked at medway, and this instructor completely changed the plan and took them all the way up to Sidcup. only gave three stars because they as a company are usually fantastic! But this instructor has let them down. Only saving grace is he past his cbt so can still continue to go to work.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous and had almost no experience, but Chris our instructor was a great teacher and his sense of humor made it a lot less scary. The shop let me sit in and use the facilities while I waited between the two hours of road riding. A tiring but rewarding day!

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT with Chris White in Sep23. Chris is a calm, polite and professional instructor with a wealth of knowledge and motorbike experience. I was nervous throughout my CBT and Chris picked up on this and put me at ease with his training style, providing positive and encouraging feedback throughout the training, allowing everyone to carry out the CBT at their own pace. We had to abandon the last hour of our road experience / training due to very heavy / torrential rain and Chris arranged to come in extra early the next day, to take us back out before his next learners arrived on site for their CBT. I felt this was going above and beyond what was expected of him as he could have easily asked us to wait until there was a break in the rain and continue back out in what could have then been a dangerous environment, as many roads were flooded after the rain fall. I look forward to using Phoenix again in the near future and to aid me in obtaining my full motorbike license.

Fantastic experience: Extremely knowledgeable. Extensive training on bikes and what each bike does and how to maintain them. Morning consisted of basic skills and once happy by both parties the afternoon was out on the road. Chris the trainer was on the headset giving clear instructions and when something was done wrong would ask us to pull over and explain the situation of possible outcomes if not done correctly. He also has the patience of a saint :-)

Fantastic experience: Instructor went it plenty of detail. Made sure everyone got involved in theory exercises. Great at constructive feedback. No pressure applied and took it all at our own paces. Kept us safe when we were out on the road. Equipment and bikes were good quality and suitable for riding.

Fantastic experience: Gained my CBT certificate yesterday from Phoenix. As a 59 year old Male who has never sat on a bike before, the experience was excellent. Our instructor, Harry, was calm, with a good sense of humour and no ego, who work really hard to get us through the course. It's a long day and part of my final on the road training took place in the dark but after Harry's excellent tuition earlier in the day I felt really confident on the bike. We learned the basics of how to look after the bike and basic checks to do on a regular basis. These are so simple that that anyone can do them and Harry made sure we all understood why they were needed. Overall a really great experience and a big thank you to Phoenix and Harry in particular. I'm on the road!!

From CBT to MOD1, gone for this depot only because Erith test centre had no spaces available but it turned out its the same team of people! I would like to thank Adam, Vincent, Harrison and Nick for being so professional, friendly and patient. Phoenix crew is definitely a great team to learn from. I will recommend them far and wide!!

Equipment supplied was great (except gloves which when wet leave their dye on your hands - mine look like I've been handling stolen cash and the ink bomb went off LOL)!. But can't fault it really - great comms, good facilities, new bides to learn on.

He done a fantastic job on teaching myself and the others who attended the rules of the road and other guidelines, making us safer on the road. I'm really happy with Shane and with Phoenix, I will also hopefully book my big boy test with them once I'm ready!

Fantastic experience: I had a brilliant experience with my CBT last year with Harrison, who was great. Then I had my DAC this year and had two very good instructors - Keith and Chris. Both dedicated and knowledgable. There is a very good admin team behind the scenes - Steph and Lisa, Who were very responsive and flexible when it came to making training/tests arrangements. A very good and well organized company, learner centred, with respect to inexperienced riders. I had a short experience before with another local firm, and Phoenix is an ocean above them. Recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant trainers, facilities and customer service. Felt really welcomed going into my first training sessions and all following sessions were spot on with lots of helpful information packed in. Passed Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time with no troubles, 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: As an ‘older’ female learner my mid life crisis was supported by Phoenix. I struggled with Mod 1 and actually was not successful until my 6th attempt but this was not to do with the school it was my nerves. However Mod 2 was fab. I had one to one training and passed first time. My son also used Phoenix and he passed first time on both tests. The instructors are great and I have seen most of them in my area! the head office are supportive and super friendly. They try everything to help you pass! If your mid life crisis is looming…..learn to ride a motorcycle with Phoenix! You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: I only trained for my mod 2 with phoenix. I cannot explain how happy I am with the service I recieved, Darren assessed me over at Sidcup and I met him again down at Gillingham for my training we battled stupid freezing cold weather coupled with sideways rain, not the greatest of situations but with Darren it was made easy with his great sense of humour coupled with our shared love of sarcasm. I took my test today escorted by Chris and only got 2 rider faults I couldn't be happier Chris gave me a few last words of wisdom and i was away, thanks guys see you on the open road.

Positive experience: Undertook my CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 training with Phoenix and can't fault the training as I passed both tests first time. The instructors are all very friendly and exceptionally patient and I'd have no issue with recommending Phoenix for anyone looking for training. I only have a couple of negatives. First off is that some instructors are still using old analogue radio sets which are sometimes really difficult to hear and cut out repeatedly. Given there is clearly ongoing investment in bikes it is strange that not all the instructors are supplied with decent digital coms. The other slight issue was that I had arranged to borrow some equipment for my course. I was given an 8am start time and the unit where the equipment is stored didn't open until 9am which meant standing around and missing an hours riding time. If I had known this was an issue I would have called in the day before to collect the kit I needed. These issues were the only things holding off from 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I just completed the Direct Access course. I have to say the guys are brilliant at what they do, going into the tests I felt fully prepared with plenty of riding time under my belt over the 3 days that I did it. I couldn't say a bad word, great experience. Thanks guys!

Positive experience: The instructor (Shane) was excellent on the day and if I were rating Shane this would be five stars. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the company good to deal with and only booked my CBT with them because with a lack of places available I was able to book it online via the website. Booking via the website turned out to be absolutely necessary because the company didn’t answer the phone or messages. The communication leading up to the course was very negative and whilst trying to impart confirmation and what to bring gave lots of ways to lose your booking and money. I therefore felt the company went from no communication to negative communication, not a good look. Another minor but very irritating thing was that the learner has to bring their own 3.5mm jack headphones (without microphone) probably due to COVID (despite the fact the hire out helmets so there are double standards there, unless they can charge for the hire of helmets), again there is an email that says if you don’t bring them you lose your booking and money. It would be far easier for the company to buy a crate load of cheap ones for a couple of pounds each and sell them on the day or provide it free built in to the training cost. There are parts of the CBT back at “base” for discussion and a welcome break off the bike, unfortunately this is done in a storage unit in a Kent Space warehouse. This feels cheap to me, there are meeting rooms at Kent Space and they would have been more appropriate and a cup of tea aids the concentration. The company doesn’t even have a kettle (obviously because it is a lock up) simple things that leave a bad experience of everything other than the instructor. Because of the total lack of communication early on I am now doing my Direct Access with their competitor and so instead of saving any money buy not having staff to answer the phone and messages they have lost several hundred pounds multiplied by the number of people like me. A great instructor, potential for a great overall experience ruined by the company.

Fantastic experience: I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my training days with Phoenix. They improved my confidence on the bigger bike and taught me well to pass my mod 1 & 2. All trainers are great fun, knowledgeable and make you feel at ease, whilst keeping their serious head on. I did a lot of my training with Chris (special thanks to him), also with Sam, Nick and Darren. Thanks guys. Maybe one day I’ll do my advanced training. Debbie

Fantastic experience: My first contact with Pheonix was lovely, the admin tram on the phone are friendly and do what they can to help you without makin you feel daft for asking. They recommended that before I take my Direct Access course, for £10 they offered an hour taster session on a 650, which was really beneficial as it showed me what I needed to improve on. Best £10 ever spent. As a result of this they recommended the split course. I was happy about this choice as it relieved a lot of stress about having to pay for the whole course again should I fail Mod 1. I had Chris for both my Mod 1 and Mod 2. He had a relaxed teaching style and which is beneficial when you're under a lot of self-pressure to pass the course. Chris's feedback is fair and true and does not lack the odd sarcastic comment which really helps to lighten the mood. Thanks to his guidance and Pheonix school, I successfully passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, professional training and very enjoyable.

Positive experience: The instructor I had in Maidstone wasn't my favourite, he liked to tell me the negatives and if I done something on the modules I'll fail and now I'm stressing that I'm going to fail it but he was good to the new learner in the group, he really pushed him to get him through the training.

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT with Phoenix in June 2021. The training was excellent. The instructor, Harrison, gave a high level of attention to detail, including making sure I was riding safely and able to improve on my skills at each stage of the course. I would certainly recommend this training school.

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT with Harry on Friday, which went really well. I didn’t know what to expect being a NEW rider and was worried I wouldn’t get it, however Harry took him time to help me understand (and in fairness, gave me the kick I needed to focus). Needless to say I’ll be returning to complete my full licence.

Fantastic experience: Harry was an excellent trainer very professional , patient & gave encouragement & proper feedback at every stage of the course . He kept everyone positive in their approach when  correcting  any mistakes & guided everyone with an upbeat attitude & an abundance of positivity which deffinetly helped without making people overconfident in their abilties . Fantastic experience: Got on well with the staff, very friendly, quick to respond to emails and very helpful on tips etc... Good group of people. I passed my mod 2 with Steve so big shout to the man who took me out while waiting for others to pass their test, it helped settle nerves and allowed me to get to know the area for the test while I also got use to the bike Bikes are good and modern too, tempted to get the cb650f after riding it, smooth bike that handles lightly. Fantastic experience: Phoenix have been great from my CBT to my DAS. The team in the office are friendly and happy to answer questions and the instructors give clear advise in a fun enviroment to make you feel confident to pass your tests. I also did alot of looking around and comparisons when looking for a bike school, their bikes and prices are good. I would highly recommend Phoenix!

Fantastic experience: Done my CBT yesterday. Great training by Phoenix team. Harrison was brilliant. He spoke to us about the importance of the right clothing, protection gear and bike checks. Also gave us lot of tips and helpful information about where to buy different gears from. Harry then took us to the site and gave us clear instructions and demonstrated manoeuvres. He was friendly, very patient and gave me feedback through out the day. Harry went through highway codes before taking us for the road test. He put me and others at ease before taking us on the road. Gave us clear cut instructions while on the road and made me feel confident through out the journey. I will be going back there for my full license soon. If you are looking for a quality, professional training in a relaxed and comfortable environment, dont go anywhere else. Phoenix is the right place. Highly recommended. Fantastic experience: I did my CBT here last Sunday with a new instructor, Harry. The training was really extensive and complete and the entire day was really enjoyable. Harry gave constructive, clear feedback every step of the way and made sure we all felt confident and comfortable on the bikes. He was also very considerate of the money we had spent on the training and made sure the one student who was not confident enough to do the on road part still got the most out of the day. When given our CBT certificates we were given feedback on areas we can continue working on while riding. Other instructors came through the training room during the theory modules and were very friendly, offering further advice where they could. I booked my CBT with Phoenix through a recommendation from a family member who took their CBT in February this year and I would absolutely recommend this training school.

Fantastic experience: Mark was a top instructor. Great balance of theory and practical. I started with no experience and pretty wabbly. By the end of the day I was steady and confident, but I also knew I needed to come back and see him again to learn more to improve more.

Fantastic experience: Top quality instruction from Greg and Chris at Phoenix Motorcycle training. Pass first time for Mod 1 and Mod 2 following two and a half days of intensive training. I have to say though, if it wasn't for Chris going the extra mile and giving up his own time to provide additional mod 2 practice on the morning of the test, I may well not have got that all important pass. Would highly recommend the Phoenix Training team - a quality group of people committed to their craft.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT yesterday, something have longed to do for many years. This is one off of my bucket list! The complete experience with Phoenix has been FANTASTIC! I really recommend them as a company, from customer service on the phone through to the bonkers Greg that was our instructor for the day.
