Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few different driving instructors and Martins School of Motoring is the best by long mile. Martin is calm, patient and a genuinely kind person. He was very quickly able to assess which areas I needed to improve on and even though I felt I could have been a difficult student at times, Martin reassured me and never once got angry or shouted at me. With his help I was finally able to achieve my pass. 5/5 would give more stars if I could.

He is also very sociable and has a genuine interest in his subject - which is reflected in the cheerful enthusiasm that he has for his pupils progress. My progress had previously stalled with an earlier Instructor and I felt very pessimistic about my prospects. Martin helped me to develop my confidence and provided me with the platform to develop my skills through to test standard, which I have recently passed. I have recommended his tuition to family members who are planning to learn to drive & would happily recommend Martin to anybody else.

Fantastic experience: Only had around 12 lessons with Martin and passed first time! Fun lessons and he is very patient as you learn and doesn’t get upset when you make mistakes. He has good techniques to make you remember how to park, turn corners etc and it never goes wrong. Really focuses on your mistakes and perfects them! Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I passed with Martin 6 years ago (first time), but didn't get behind the wheel much and had lost my confidence, so reached out to Martin for some refresher lessons. Martin was just as great as the first time around. He was patient and helpful. After 2 lessons, my confidence has built up and I feel able to go out by myself and practice. I had been told by friends that they didn't enjoy their refresher lessons, as the instructors were too focused on getting students to pass, but I didn't find this with Martin at all. He tailored his teaching to me, as a license holder, helping me with the things I needed help with, rather than focusing on things that you need to do to pass a test. Thanks Martin! Hopefully you won't be hearing from me again :)!

I can remember contemplating whether to take automatic or manual lessons, due to how I had heard it was easier to pass/drive an automatic vehicle. Long story short, I started my lessons with Martin, as a complete Novice, and would struggle with a lot of things, but Martin made it seem like a piece of cake and through it all Martin remained calm, patient, professional and very understanding, he helped build my Confidence from very low to high, and I am happy to announce that I passed my driving test 1st time! Fantastic experience: I can't say enough how much I recommend Martin as a driving instructor. I was with Martin for 6 months passed my test first time. Compared to other instructors that I had previous experiences with Martin is calm, understanding and will go the extra mile to provide a great quality service. With Martin you will also make a great friend it will be strange not having a weekly lesson with Martin sort of like losing a great friend.
