Fantastic experience: Passed my HGV class 2 on Friday first time! Gordon Springate was a really good company from my experience. Richard was my instructor for the 5 days and I can’t fault him to be honest a decent bloke and a good teacher he made it all a good experience for me, would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have done lots of training with Springates over the years and I have always been impressed. A stand out course for me was my recent ADR with Paul. He clearly knows his stuff and is a credit to the company. Not only do I have an ADR certificate I feel confident in the knowledge I have learnt and I look forward to putting it into practice.

I done my class 2- first time pass.. it's pretty straight forward, just listen what they are teaching you and you will be fine. They all are experienced and they will give you the best otherwise. Nobody in Gordon Springate team is judging you for making mistakes as a matter of fact it is quite opposite they make sure you feel comfortable so that way you can learn driving at your best capabilities. Fantastic experience: This week, I had the pleasure of doing my HGV class 2 course with Gordon Springate. Throughout the week, I met and chatted with a number of the instructors. In the small interactions I had with the other instructors I was made to feel like they cared just as much about learners passing as what we did. For the entire week, I had the same instructor which I feel is a good practice as it enabled a very good rapport to be formed and meant that he was able to tailor his training to my learning style. I can’t thank Kim enough for what he taught me this week. He showed patience, knowledge, assertiveness (when needed) and was an absolute professional at all times. Kim gave me all the tools to pass my test and the confidence he instilled in me meant I was able to go into the test confident. Gordon Springate is a top class business which puts learners at the forefront of what they do. The instructors are superb and I cannot speak highly enough of Kim, the man is a legend!! I highly recommend Gordon Springate to anyone thinking of getting into driving!

I had a guy called Rich who was really good at instructing, but also wasn't overbearing and let you get on with the experience of driving a larger vehicle. I have been driving for 2 months and it has made life so much easier in the job I do. Would highly recommend Gordon Springate!

I then had Rich on the last 5 days who again knew his stuff, made me feel relaxed and obviously did a fantastic job having passed my test first time with only 3 minors. Fantastic experience: After 4 fails with a reputable bus company I went with Gordon Springate. I was told that I’d need about 8 hrs plus my test to obtain my license. They were spot on. Passed today with 2 minors. My instructor Ian was awesome. Calm, assured and very knowledgeable. The whole firm from booking my lessons to driving to passing my test were second to none. Even received a call from the office after I’d passed congratulating me. Use this firm if you want that license you crave.

From never driving a big vehicle to driving a class 2 lorry I can officially say that kim has helped me pass 1st time with only a few minor faults at my own fault. Fantastic experience: Excellent training service! I went from driving a 3.5 T van to passing my CE licence. All the trainers and staff are really helpful. I passed 2nd time. The office get you booked in really quick for a re test, so there is nothing to stress about. Big thanks to Paul for taking me :)

They dont try to get you to sign up to courses you aren't ready to do, which is refreshing. Kim was really helpful as an instructor even when nerves got the better of me. Fantastic experience: Very professional company. I had Shaun teaching me the reversing and coupling and uncoupling. Rich was my instructor for driving, both were so patient and reassuring at all times. Would definitely recommend them to anyone considering doing anything involving HGVs.

Fantastic experience: I gave 5 stars but wish I could give more. To start of with, was easy to contact the company in which they responded quickly and straight forward. Was very nervous for the weeks course as I was doing my Cat C license however after meeting my instructor Kim, he soon put my nerves at ease and was very relaxed and was able to learn of him with ease. Everyone at the yard was friendly and welcoming and was able to have a joke with everyone. Somehow managed to pass first time so even more credit to Kim and the Gang and will use again with future endeavors. Thank you Gordon springate!!!

I had a week course as upgrade from class 2 to class 1 thanks to Kim for reversing course and to Shaun for a week away on the road together it was great time and very helpful advice unfortunately I haven’t passed 1st time but I have pass 2nd attempt and also thank you to Ian for a final couple of hours prior to retest which I passed! All instructors were brilliant, thanks to all of you again !

Office staff are very friendly as well and always greet you with a smile every morning. They take all the stresses out of gaining your licences by booking all your theory’s, CPC and driving test. It can be complicated but they are always on hand to answer any questions you may have. Sean was my instructor for my reversing and driving. He was a lovely guy always answered any of my questions no matter how silly they was and again very knowledge on all things class 1 and 2 related. Passed my test first time and don’t think that would have been the case if I had trained else where. Prices are very competitive in comparison to the other driving schools in the local area. Thank you to everyone at Gordon’s for getting me through all my tests and exams on the first attempt!

Fantastic experience: Did a week's worth of intensive driving with Gordon springate and I am a very hard person to teach, nerves get the better of me more often then not but Kim at Gordon springate was very calm, patient and attentive to my driving and helped me so much to the point I passed first time! I honestly owe it to him for passing, an absolute diamond in the business and the best driving instructor I've had, you'll be in safe hands if you get Kim. The other instructors were very kind and helpful from my short experience I had with them and I thoroughly recommend going to Gordon Springate if you thinking about doing you 7.5t, class 2 or class 1 license.
