Fantastic experience: I did my cbt on a 125cc automatic, with Ricky this month (January), who was so friendly & very professional. After an accident on my little moped back in 1990, I'd totally lost my confidence about getting back on a bike again. Ricky was patient & went through everything thoroughly with me before I felt brave enough to go out on the road. The course was enjoyable & very informative. To anyone who'd love to get back on a moped/motorbike but is feeling apprehensive, please book with Top Notch. I can't thank or recommend them, & in particular, Ricky enough. Fantastic experience: Gained my CBT certificate and obtained my full A UK motorbike licence with Top Notch Motorcycle Training. Had Zak & Steve as my instructors. Both great instructors at giving advice and believing in their clients, which aids to boost confidence. I would definitely recommend learning to ride and/or obtaining your licence with this excellent training school.

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT on a geared 125CC today. The instructors were amazing, very patient, allowed you to have enough time to practice everything before going out on the road. They were very knowledgeable and explained/demonstrated all tasks clearly or until you understood. Out on the road Matt was very calm, made some jokes to make me feel at ease, and only commented when needed, I felt safe and comfortable with Matt, which allowed me to gain confidence quicker than I had originally thought! I give Matt and the team 5 stars and I will most definitely choose Top Notch Training for my DAS course. If you are unsure on where to train in and around Norwich, this is the place to go. Fantastic experience: Having passed my CBT, MOD 1 and MOD 2 with Top Notch I can honestly say their training is excellent. Zak, Matt and Tiny were all calm constructive instructors. They never mocked you for going wrong or made you feel stupid. Zak was my main instructor throughout the lessons and he was A*. Fantastic experience: Done my CBT, mod 1 and mod 2 with Top Notch. I had no riding experience before my CBT but was quickly made to feel at ease. Everyone was friendly and helpful but have to give a special mention to Zack, one of the senior instructors who was informative, patient and knowledgeable. Zack really went above and beyond, not only to make sure you pass your test but to also make the whole experience a memorable one.

Fantastic experience: Cbt was great my instructor took his time on things I struggled with at the time such as roundabouts the instructor ( I forgot his name ) made me go through like 20 roundabouts untill I was ready, also had a short woman same age as me who could barely touch the floor on one of the 50cc so the instructor drove back from the playground we where training on and got a shorter moped which shows the dedication of the staff at top notch motorcycle training, daym I'm glazing rn

Fantastic experience: Normally you can’t say having training and tests are fun but I had a blast, the instructors for both my mod 1 and mod 2 were brilliant and helped me improve on my riding even after they were comfortable I’d pass just so that I’d be a more safe rider and have even more fun. Even if I had failed it would’ve been worth it just because the MT-07 is very nice to ride and there was nothing but smiles and laughter inside my helmet. Thank you to my instructors for helping me pass and helping me into the amazing world that is motorcycles.

Fantastic experience: I had my CBT today for a 125cc manual with top notch training. It was a great experience with an organised team, with superb equipment and demonstrations. They were patient and made adjustments needed for me in order to receive my certificate which was a pleasant surprise.

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise top notch training enough in Norwich for helping me pass my mod 1 and mod 2 test. My instructor was zac and he was absolutely amazing! He made the lessons and just the whole process really stress free and easy. His attitude towards the whole thing was amazing and I'm so happy I got to have him as my instructor. I highly recommend going to these guys if you're wanting to pursue your licence for a motorbike.

Fantastic experience: Have used Top Notch from CBT, MOD1 and MOD2. Passed with excellent tuition from Zack And Matt both top instructors. They taught this old dog new tricks. Passed today 22nd September 2023.

Fantastic experience: Today I had a 2hr lesson with Zack, as I had my confidence knocked. Zack gave me back my confidence to get on a bigger bike, for me to do my DAS, I can't thank Top Notch Training enough, I came back with a smile across my face and confidence regained, and booked my MOD 1, thank you so much. Update: On Thursday 5th October, I got to passed my MOD 2, a massive thank you to Zack, for all the training and patience, you gave me my confidence back, so I could achieve my dream of getting my full licence to ride my dream bike, I also like to thank Alison for arranging my lessons and tests with Zack . Fantastic experience: I have just done my CBT 15/4/23 had Steve & Matt I believe as I'm not good at remembering name's, to start with met Steve in reception he checked license & eye test outside and fitted with gloves an jacket when back in reception/workshop, an area with public talking to staff and phones going off in the background, personally, I found this not ideal learning environment, for me anyway with having dyslexia, I have to focus on the person givin the training without distractions, as said this is my way of learning. We was then taken down to local school playground for all the practical practice which was spot on, Matt went through the bike checks great getting us all involved asking us questions, he then had call on his mobile and had been double booked with another student, this left Steve with us four candidates, now this I believe didn't distracted from our learning, as Steve was patient and down to earth trainer liking his style, but I believe it did add extra time, or was not able to practice as much with us four, as Steve had to do four instead of two per trainer. Now I do believe this was not the trainers fault of double booked, but an Administrative error and would only give admin3-4 stars if I could, the trainers five stars all the way. On the road: Matt arrived back and went through the HW code and we then split into pairs each with an instructor for the 2 hour ride, I had Matt which he gave clear, well instruction into where to go and what to do a fantastic experience since nearly 26yrs of last riding a bike, have already book theory and will be looking at booking again with Top Notch highly recommend, would be great to know of any deals linked to training with TN & Tinklers for buying bikes? If you can email anything regarding this would be great appreciated So here I'm back giving an update nearly 2 month's on 14/06/23 and I have my full A licence passed Mod 1 first time and Mod 2 DAS first time with no faults, a zero hero can only be down to Zak for his training and instruction, even the examiner said to me he really enjoyed the ride. So all I can say is your never to old to do it, has took me 30yrs since I last rode, but if you take on board what you are told, from your instrutor, I also watched a lot of you tube which I found a great one Motorcycle PWR is very good. So thank you Top Notch you been great even when we had a few issues with the bike, you sorted out promply. So from a a fellow insturtor of plant training keep up the great work and will be recormending Top Notch

We had Zack for nearly all of our training from CBT to Mod 1 and Mod 2 training and he is brilliant! Positive experience: Really knowledgeable trainer, the only thing that let the training day down was the lack of space in the manoeuvre training as this was done in a small yard. Couldn't fault the rest of the training though, it was "top notch"

Fantastic experience: Just done my 3rd CBT with these guys. I had Ian today and what a great guy. Patient and very knowledgeable but you could also have a laugh with. We started in a school playground so we could get used to the bikes the spent a couple of hours on the road. I had a great day and would highly recommend to and 1st timers or experienced rider.

Fantastic experience: In short, Top Notch are fantastic and I would highly recommend them. I was impressed with Ian, Matt and Zac who worked us all hard but were also patient and supportive throughout. I had never sat on a motorbike before but by the end of the day I was comfortable on the geared 125 and completed the CBT. Zac took two of us out on the 'on road' portion of the training and was very helpful in giving good feedback - it is clear he is having fun but also takes the training seriously. All the gear was provided, just remember to bring some food with you to the actual training area (they will take you there in a car) as otherwise you'll be hungry by the end of the day! Cheers guys, I am now buying protective gear and looking into getting a 125 to get some experience on!

Fantastic experience: Passed my Full A license with Top notch, Great instructors who you can have a laugh with and make getting your skills up to scratch easy, as they know their stuff and do it in such a way as not to push you so you enjoy it.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my CBT at Top Notch yesterday and had a great day. My instructor for the day was Ian Woodley who was very easy to get along with and soon puts you at ease. Quite a relaxed teaching style and gives you plenty of time to keep practising on the bike until you get to grips with the various manoeuvres. I would thoroughly recommend Top Notch and when I book my Direct Access course to get my full license, it'll be with these guys.

Fantastic experience: I first came to Top notch to do my CBT, pre-pandemic. 18 Months later, I took my direct access and given that I hadn't riden in that time, my instructors were very patient and I passed both my Mod 1 and 2 first time. All of my Direct access lessons were one-on-one and I appreciated the support hugely.

Fantastic experience: Had my CBT recently at Top Notch, my instructor was Ian Woolley. Ian was great, top bloke, patient, professional, knowledgeable, he strives to get the best out of everyone. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I completed my 2nd CBT with Top Norch on 4/4/21. Absolutely brilliant day it was myself and 16yr old. The instructor was fantastic he was friendly and very patient he made it easy to understand all training, practical and classroom. The ride out was great we spent a lot more than the minimum 2 hours out on the road to ensure the young lad was absolutely safe to be out on the road. I couldn't be happier with the training gicen and would happily recommend.

Negative experience: Just spoke to top notch training about cbt training as a regular customer told they had a cancellation couldn't book it because didn't get paid until friday but wouldn't hold the booking as already had my cbt twice don't they no money tight at the moment

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting, would not recommend. I was left on the side for atleast an hour as they were helping the other learner, and the whole day had gone from 8.30 till 4.30 to be extended till 6.30. And I mentioned about child care issues got told I can leave at 3.30 and come back later during the week to finish the rest of my cbt not any mention of extra cost until I rung up the next day to rebook then I get told an extra £35 and excuses, apparently I kept stalling on corners when I only stalled on emergency stops and initially braking in general but soon got the hang of it and hearing how the instructor was under pressure because he was being assessed at his job not something a learner needs to know about as they themselves are under a little pressure of getting it right and 0 customer service skills being treat as a cash cow not a learner an absolute waste of £140.

Fantastic experience: They certainly have the name correct “Top Notch” From the initial inquiry to taking my course all the staff were friendly, informative and professional. The bike provided for training was brand new and the cost of the course was definitely the most competitive. Paul was my instructor and he was brilliant. I would recommend using Top Notch without hesitation and definitely will be using them for further training. Thank you Paul and Top Notch.
