Fantastic experience: I just wanted to share how amazing my instructor Emma Ramoutar has been. From my very first lesson she has been so patient, kind and supportive and after a very negative experience with a previous driving instructor, she has completely restored my confidence behind the wheel, I now genuinely look forward to each lesson. Fantastic experience: I could not be more thankful to the How-2-Drive Team. I started automatic lessons with Nicole after years of anxiety around driving, and very low confidence. Nicole was so patient and supportive throughout the entire process. I quickly gained confidence and four months later passed my test first time with only two minors. She never made me feel silly for making mistakes, and designed lessons around areas I felt I needed more work with. She was super reliable, always communicated well. I highly recommend Nicole.

Fantastic experience: I am writing this review after recently passing my test. I first failed my test when with a private instructor, and began to look for a new one, I reached out to How2Drive via email and was immediately helped and sorted into lessons within a week, which was excellent for me. My instructor was Rob Shoyer, who took me on after I failed my first test. He was immediately welcoming and helpful, never making me feel out of place as a student in the car. He allowed me to have a say in my lessons, where my money went and what content we focused on. Rob was extremely helpful, and great company, as stressful as driving can be, he went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and not overwhelmed, always offering breaks and allowing me to put my own music on. With Rob, I took my second test, first with How2Drive, and passed. I will always recommend him, and How2Drive to anyone looking to start lessons, or refresh their skills. Thank you to all! Looking forward to getting on the road alone now.

Fantastic experience: Simon was a brilliant instructor, we spent a number of lessons correcting things and he explained things in a different way when I struggled to grasp them. Overall, excellent experience, would recommend weekly lessons as having a break slowed down my progress. Thanks so much Simon, I'm s pleased to have passed.

Fantastic experience: First and foremost, I thank the Creator. After a lot of hard work, I have finally passed. After thanking the Creator, I must thank Ramoutar. He teaches exceptionally well. I had taken classes with other trainers before but couldn’t understand many things properly, which Ramoutar explained effortlessly. In my opinion, Ramoutar stands out as an Approved Driving Instructor compared to others, especially when it comes to drawing. He demonstrates and explains even the smallest details with exceptional sketches. Listen to your trainer, and only when they say, you are ready should you go for the test. Don’t rush before that! A special thanks to How 2 Drive for establishing such an amazing brand.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test first time and feel super confident in my ability, thanks to my brilliant instructor Jerry. Jerry really polished my driving and I always looked forward to lessons with him, super friendly and a great teacher. All his teaching was easy to digest as a nervous driver( especially on roundabouts) and he was super efficient. I really owe my pass, safety and confidence to him, a fantastic instructor who always found a way to help me understand and feel safer on the road. Brilliant teacher. I reached out to How2drive and they secured me an instructor ASAP, the team is great and efficient. Couldn’t recommend their service more.

Negative experience: Maybe the driver who cut up two lanes of traffic at Fullers Hill "roundabout" to cut me up at 07:15 this morning could use a few lessons in how to use that particular gyratory, the lanes are clearly labeled, and if he needed to gain access from Asda side, he needed to stick to the far left lane, so he doesn't cause an accident in a company car ironically labeled "how2Drive" by cutting over 2 lanes in an accident hotspot. Coincidentally this possibly could be the same driver who enters limited access roads, reverses on pedestrianised roads with school children around, and parks on double yellows to do school run. If you want to drive badly, don't do it with your company name on it.

Fantastic experience: Was instructed by Adam Manista and was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and ease of which he taught me. I would highly recommend anyone using How 2 Drive to ask for Adam specifically if you are a nervous or anxious about learning as well. Adam is calm, informative and knowledgeable about all facets of driving and I cannot sing his praises enough.

Fantastic experience: Thrilled to say I passed first time today after working with Chris Read. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor - very patient, encouraging and a genuinely lovely person. He knew when I needed a challenge and when I needed some time to stop and work on something, breaking something down until it was clear and understandable. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I passed my driving test first time with Sara Jenkins as my instructor. Lessons were always planned to target weaknesses in my driving which allowed me to improve and gain confidence. Sara was very patient and I always felt comfortable to ask questions.

Fantastic experience: Glad to say I passed my driving test this morning, I couldn’t have done it without my amazing instructor Barry R!!! Previously work colleagues switched to instructor and pupil I genuinely couldn’t recommend him enough. As an instructor Barry was so comforting, informative and observational and as a person he is a genuinely great bloke and definitely a laugh. He helped me work on my faults from my previous tests as well as rebuilding my confidence and geared me up with the knowledge and understanding to improve my driving and PASS!! As someone who had never sat in the driver's seat of a car before, I was very nervous about learning to drive! Mark is the perfect instructor for any nervous new driver, being so patient and reassuring whilst breaking everything down making everything a lot easier to process and understand! You're also guaranteed to have a few laughs with him too! Honestly couldn't be happier with my time being taught by Mark! Definitely going to miss my Monday midday lessons!! He always made me feel very comfortable and at ease, and his teaching methods were very effective and structured. Fantastic experience: I passed my test today thanks to the help of Ian Mulley! I’m naturally nervous and anxious but Ian was so good and helped me learn at my own pace. I honestly would never have passed without him! 10/10 recommend.

Negative experience: Driving instructor charged me the full 2 hours because I was 20 minutes late, yes I appreciate that I was late however I feel scammed as I payed for 2 hours yet the driving instructor was conveniently busy during that time which I think is unacceptable as I payed for 2h and the instructor should have scheduled for. I have since had lessons with another instructor who has not held it against me when I've made mistakes as as he says "it is my lesson" that I am paying for which I agree with so time I've wasted is mine not the instructors they're getting payed to do nothing if I'm late !!

Fantastic experience: I have passed my driving test today in one attempt with Mark Horne. Every lesson was well structured with clear goals set, aiding my continuous development as a Learner driver. Mark was pleasant, talkative and always created a positive and fun learning environment. He gave me excellant guidence, really putting in the effort to improve any aspect of my driving which I was struggling with. Before my test, Mark gave me a lot of reassurance which improved my confidence to perform at a very high level on the test. Thanks for the help Mark, and I wish you all the best for the future.

Fantastic experience: Eeeeeek! I passed my driving test this morning all thanks to Wayne Bennett! Could not recommend Wayne enough.. I went into this very anxious but Wayne never gave up on me! He had different methods and we figured out which was best for me, so supportive & knew exactly what to say to calm my nerves! Plus he is just a lovely, awesome guy! Learning to drive is daunting to anyone, but I suffered with anxiety for most of my adult life and never thought it would be possible for me. Simon Disney was great, straight away felt comfortable. He's patient, knowledgeable and someone you can have a laugh with. It's a great balance. Will forever be grateful for the support. Highly reccomend to anyone who wants to start driving. Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving test at my first attempt, and I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to my instructor Blair Wilson as I would not have done so without his unwavering patience, encouragement throughout my driving lessons. Blair was always punctual, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I was well-prepared for my driving test. Even when my test was booked for "Silly o'clock" as he called it, he still turned up to make sure I got the pass. Thanks to Him, I now have my license and I couldn't be more grateful.

Fantastic experience: Ian Mulley is the best driving instructor I’ve ever had! He makes you feel at ease behind the wheel and is an extremely good teacher. He gives you a lot of confidence and self belief towards achieving your goal which is just as important as learning to drive as well. He will go above and beyond to help you with all different resources and will make things you struggle with memorable in the correct way. He wants to see you do well and he wants to see you pass which are brilliant qualities in an instructor. I’ve been on road independently nearly a year now and my life has changed so much! Fantastic experience: Doing my driving lessons through How2Drive was an incredible experience. Mark is an extremely pleasant instructor to have had. All lessons felt extremely client-centred to what I was going to benefit from the most. His approach to teaching put me at ease even though I am someone who finds the concept of driving quite daunting. I would 100% recommend him as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving with Ivanoy brito today at how 2 drive I would recommend lvanoy brito to anyone has been the best instructor I could have asked for he is kind and knows exactly how to make you feel at ease as soon as you start all the way until your test and importantly on test day as well as being patient he can be serious and will give you a kick up the bum when you need it and he definitely knows his stuff I looked forward to my driving lesson with lvanoy brito which is how it should be! Fantastic experience: I had lessons with Ivanoy from how 2 drive and cannot recommend him enough. I completed 24 hours of lessons via an intensive course and a few top up lessons, and was able to pass my test first time, having started as a complete beginner. Ivanoy was a brilliant teacher, very patient and supportive. He helped me to learn very quickly and the whole process only took just over 2 weeks from my first lesson to passing my test! Fantastic experience: I had Kevin bowkett as my instructor, after having a bad test experience in Lowestoft I came to how2drive and they have been more than accommodating, helping me to overcome nerves and build my confidence driving in the city. Kevin was very flexible fitting lessons around my multiple part time jobs and college studies. I am so grateful to Kevin for having the belief in me and helping me realise my ability as a driver and supporting me to achieve a great pass with only 2 minor faults. Fantastic experience: I very highly recommend Tim Elley as a driving instructor for the following reasons: •He is very kind and calm and even when I made a mistake he never got angry or made me feel stupid for not getting it right. We would just discuss what had happened and what I could do to fix it which really helped me correct bad habits and better understand why I needed to be doing certain things. •I always felt very safe and comfortable in the car with Tim and I knew that if/when he needed to step in he could. •He truly helped me with my confidence on the road by always being supportive, encouraging, and caring. •He is very knowledgeable and experienced, and always had the answers to any questions I could think of. •He would make sure that any parts of my driving that I had less confidence in were targeted, and remedied so that I had confidence in every part of my driving which really helped me pass my test. Fantastic experience: Passed for an auto license at the end of August having sat in the driver's seat for the first time in February. I didn't have a huge amount time or money to be spending on lessons, but my instructor Adam Manista made every lesson engaging, fun and a relaxing environment to learn in. I'm not sure exactly how many hours I did, but I think it was probably around 30-35 hours of lessons with Adam, and a bit longer in personal practice with my parents. I feel confident with driving and am looking forward to doing it daily when I eventually get a car. Highly recommend Adam to any new drivers

Fantastic experience: I cannot fault my instructor Kevin B. He was patient, helpful and calm throughout. As a slightly older, slightly nervous learner I had anticipated to struggle much more than I did. I passed first time with Kevin. He is personable and adaptable and I highly recommend. Fantastic experience: I want to thank Ian from How 2 drive, for being such an incredible support to N during her driving lessons. He was the perfect balance of seriousness and humour, knowing just when to keep things on track and when to crack a joke to lighten the mood. N couldn't have done it without him guiding her every step of the way. And let’s be honest, the new car definitely didn’t hurt—nothing like an electric car to make those lessons a bit more enjoyable! Your patience and encouragement really helped N build the confidence she needed and we can’t thank you enough for helping her pass her test!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just passed my manual driving test, first time! My amazing driving instructor was Jamie Docker, he made me feel comfortable and supported from the start. His lessons were well structured, with set goals, feedback and how to improve, which we would then practice. He gave good advice for resources to help me revise for lessons and for my theory test. He was always very patient, up-front, non-judgemental, and made me laugh. He checked in with me before starting each lesson, to see how I was feeling, and he was understanding when I had to step away for a few weeks, due to my mental health. He also made sure I was confident and felt ready for my practical test. I always felt safe driving with him, and I would highly recommend Jamie Docker to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: jamie was the most lovely instructor, he was patient and very supportive and helped in a way that was constructive but polite and was one of the best instructors, i would recommend him and this company to anybody and everybody!!

Negative experience: I would have loved to of shared the same experiences as everyone else but sadly I did not. I’m overall just really disappointed in the treatment I got from this company as I thought it would be good but I frankly found them rude and unprofessional. I didn’t mind my driving instructor being between 5 and 15 minutes late for every lesson or eating on the job, privately messaging me on WhatsApp instead of the driving app, the comment of whether it being okay to touch my arm and jokingly said as it’s 2024 and we have to ask these things or even going behind the hedge for a wee. But what I did mind was him charging me for a full lessons when he finished the lessons and early then questioning my validity when I brought it up to him. Furthermore, I found constant disorganisation from my driving instructor infuriating which is what lead me to stop continuing with this company. The late turn ups, the last minute cancellations, charging me for lessons when I did not do because he was 45 + minutes late or simply booking them on the wrong day and the complete disregard that I have other things in my life aside from driving lessons and arguing with me claiming I should tell him what else I’m doing in my life. But I what I absolutely detested was the complete unprofessionalism when I wanted the money back for my unused hours and he refusing to giving the full money back because he claimed I cancelled a lesson but couldn’t actually tell me when that was (I personally think he was charging me for the final lesson I cancelled and he marked down as delivered because he was going to be 45+ minutes late). Then when trying to complain to customer service the biased mindset Sam had and the attitude that I was wasting her time ( in which I completely understand is my perspective of the situation) I just couldn’t believe I didn’t even get an apology from either of them and having to fight them both for my full money back. When I did eventually get my money back apparently it was a gesture of good will they gave it to me? I did question how it was a gesture of good will when I was being charged for a lesson he did not deliver but got ignored. I would be very very wary of this company as they will try and swindle you and take advantage of you if you aren’t completely on top of it. Just very very rude and unprofessional from both the driving instructor and customer car team.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say a big thank you to How 2 drive Norwich but more importantly to Ivanoy for helping me pass my driving test. I had three others driving instructors and probably over 80 hours of driving lessons and a very low confidence in my driving skills before driving with Ivanoy. Within a week of driving with him, thanks to his patience and his ability to explain difficult concepts and constant rigour, he transformed me into a skilled and confident driver to the point I never thought I'll ever be. I highly recommend Ivanoy and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to learn with him.
