Negative experience: Poor service. Company is falling to pieces. Instructors are very unprofessional- lack professional views and engage in what I would class aa inappropriate conversations. Lots of hidden costs. Would not recommend this company. I have since passed privately with an ex employee of the company. Who I would class as professional.

Negative experience: shockingly overpriced course for very few driving hours

Negative experience: Completley disappointed with the Bury St Edmunds branch. Completed the 5day course and passed the theory however had to wait for a test date. Once received my son continued to use the same instructor privately to keep upto date with what he learnt. We are now 13 days from his test to be told the car usnt available and was also told to source another firm. Reply ... Your T&C's state 'The hire car is supplied without charge on the 1st test booked and every effort is made to supply the car that was used for training. The instructor must have felt he is practical test ready otherwise wouldn't have advised to use another vehicle.. he clearly stated the vehicle is not available. My son received a text about an assessment however it was short notice and due to university commitments couldn't do it. No other correspondence has been received. Could we please get this resolved.

Fantastic experience: I booked an intensive course with 5day in Norwich which I did last week and passed my test today. My instructor Greg was brilliant, he made it a really positive experience. I had previous learning experience in London from 12 years ago so wasn’t a complete beginner, and I had already passed my theory test so I believe that made my experience a little easier as I could focus solely on the practical. I also had a really good experience with Donnie, and him and Greg were really friendly and helpful. I’m so thankful, as because of Greg I have overcome something I had been putting off for 12 years!

Negative experience: Absolutely awful feel ripped off will never recommend only saving grace is the driving instructors you pay all this money to sit in a class on a free app you could do why you are at home. get your self a good private driving instructor instead and save your self time and money I had experience driving and tbh I dont believe this would benefit any first time drivers not to mention you have illegally used my photo I told 5day you where not aloud to use my image as I was not happy with the service you provided I will be seeking legal action

Fantastic experience: I had Greg and he was honestly the best instructor I could ever have. He was so calm and patient with me, and was super helpful with tips and tricks. Highly recommend 5day because of him!

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking customer service and policy on cancellation due to illness. I was hospitalised due to serious health and only discharged a few days before my course was due to start. I called customer service who told me I would not be able to receive a refund or reschedule my course unless I provided a doctors note. I did so immediately but was then told I had to provide a doctors not that specifically said I was unfit to drive. All these processes I had to go through were not in the terms and conditions. I also provided this immediately. I spoke to various members of the unsympathetic and blunt customer service team who told me contradicting things. I finally got my case sent to management who replied with the same copy and pasted response I had received before. When I asked about making a complaint I was directed back to the blunt unsympathetic customer service team that my poor experience began with. Do not use this company, they are appalling.

Negative experience: I’m not to write bad reviews but my experience with 5 day intensive driving course has been shocking! We had paid for a 5 day course on the wed my son was told to come in at 12 and on the fri he was bought home early at 13 30 both of those days he was in at the same time and out at same finish time, and at the end of the week was told he couldn’t be put in for test as not ready and needed extra hours!!!the explanation to me by a woman in customer service was that they made up the time! He passed his theory and then we were told his instructor had no availability. we had to make all of these calls ourselves I found the customer service lady very defensive and quite rude and do very unhelpful, would never recommend this intensive course to anyone and have since heard so many others with same complaint I’ve now spoken to an instructor and wish we’d used them from the start.

Negative experience: Absolute joke book a course was told I was not test ready at the end of five days. went off to have lessons with local instructor he told me I was test Ready after a few lessons went back for an assessment with five day he told me I wasn’t tested and recommended I book my test with my local instructor scam scam scam

Negative experience: Dont book a coarse with this company unless you are certain about it as you will not get your deposit back. Very disappointed. The staff are also quite unhelpful and obnoxious, would not recommend.

Negative experience: As the comment before I also feel like just a number my boyfriend payed over £1000 and definitely I do not recommend this course to anyone. As long as you finish your 20 h driving they don’t care if you pass or not. You are not given extra lessons if you want you will have to pay them the only lesson that you have for free is just before another exame. I contact them today to get some help and advise what should I do or what would be the best option once I still on the 2 years agreement the lady was not helpful at all and was Very unpleasant . They do treat us like we are just a number. This was just a waste of money! I normally don't do any bad reviews but this was way too frustrating!!!!! As I can not reply on the answer is given. I will have to do it here. First, 5day didn't here from me since I’ve failed my Practical which was in October. Secondly, what was told over the phone was: as it didn't herd from me, there was nothing that could be done related to the intensive course. Therefore they would contact the instructor to get in touch with me. In addition when I failed my practical nobody advised me about the (DL25) which I wasn't aware of. All the information is on the contract( which I didn't red) my fault but I think as a customer we deserve more attention. No communication was made after the failing. As I mentioned before we are just number.

Negative experience: My son done his driving lessons with 5 day. It feels like you are just a number with little care given once you had completed the 5 days. The course only gives you about 20 hours driving which seemed for to little for the cost of the course. After our son failed his second test we booked him with a self employed instructor that after 3 lessons got him to pass with just 4 minor faults. I would not advise anyone to use this way of learning to drive

Fantastic experience: Passed my test after taking part in the 5day course. My instructor was Greg Gasser and I can't recommend him enough, he was amazing and made me feel so confident before doing my test!

Fantastic experience: 5 days with "The Dark Destroyer" in 2017 (still thankful) and passed 2nd time round. After 10 years of on-off lessons it was a big tick to get done, whilst pregnant. Excellent staff and if you don't pass first time, don't panic! They will see you do eventually.

Negative experience: Do yourself a favour... Download the theory test app yourself (because that's all you'll use at the center) and block book some lessons. You'll drive from 10-2.30 with a 40-60 minuet break for lunch. 20 hours driving and 12.5 hours looking at an app that you can get for £2. Some of the instructors have shouted at learners. My instructor was new and lasted a week - no offer of any support for that at all after my test was cancelled twice. Can I drive better than when I started, yes, was it worth all the money, not really.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my 5day intensive course at the Norwich branch. Had a great week, My theory trainer Greg helped us immensely to prepare for both multiple questions and Hazard perception. I was booked in for the Thursday so only had 4 days to fit in as much knowledge as i possibly could. But with the great support and help I received I managed to pass with flying colours!! Our entire group did!!! My practical lessons were really good. My instructor Alex Cunha was amazing. She made me feel relaxed, made me believe in myself and most importantly showed me how to drive a car!! She done this in a way that I would understand. She was very fun, and made my week much more enjoyable. Unfortunately me and the Clutch are not compatible. So I have decided to take a few extra lessons in an automatic before booking my practical test. Alex was so very understanding and supportive with my decision, and has tried her best to get everything in order for me to get me on the road!! So next week I’ll have a few hours lessons with my new Auto instructor Aki and hopefully be a legal driver in no time

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend a 5 day course to anyone and everyone. I walked into 5 day July 2018, I had already had 25 hours worth of lessons a few years precious, so I would say I knew majority of what I was doing but wanted to be treated as a beginner... my driving instructor was Lillin, she was brilliant, very patient but equally firm. She definitely pushs you to achieve results. Andy the theory manager was absolutely brilliant, you never feel like you are in a theory class because he's such a laugh, will make a joke out of anything and honestly keeps everything going. 5 days is a long week, 9-5 everyday. But I can honestly say that I don't think I would have ever of passed my theory without Andy's theory classes because your learning whilst having a laugh, for me personally I think that digests better into the brain rather than sitting there bored out of your skull. Unfourently I didn't pass my practical until my 3rd time but that was nothing to do with 5 day or my instructor, that was my nerves that got the better of me. But hey third time lucky ... and it only took me 6 weeks from the 5 day course to passing my practical test third time round... they get the tests 75% quicker than the normal waiting DVSA waiting list... and I have loved every second of my new found freedom of my car.. best decision I ever Made....

Fantastic experience: I stand today, proud and relieved, with an A4 piece of paper (Driving certificate). This piece of paper confirms in writing that I have indeed passed my Driving Test. My story is that I have always wanted to drive since a young age. Due to educational commitments, cost and free time this wasn’t possible. However, recently I was put under enormous pressure by my current employers to gain my license due to a contract change and I was given an ultimatum to get my license or lose my job! This pressure, along with the fact I was unconfident and anxious behind the wheel of a car made me a teacher who was ironically, hard to teach. Now the adrenaline and anxiety has now lifted from my body, having passed. I can confidently say that this achievement was down to one man’s support and commitment, Andy. Andy, took me on as his own Driving pupil after I completed an intensive course at 5-DAY, where under his guidance I successfully achieved 58/60 on my theory due to his engaging theory lessons. However, I knew after my week at 5-DAY, I was far from ready to take my practical test. With fear and anxiety taking hold of me and hindering my ability to operate a vehicle with the control and confidence needed. Interestingly, I could study and complete the theory, but the practical task of driving was a daunting and difficult struggle for me as I would typically over-think driving manoeuvres and positioning. Over the last 6 months, Andy, has been an incredibly positive and constructive source of support who has pushed me to conquer my fears and demons from the immense pressure I was under. Having been under his tuition for some time, I have got to know him as a friendly and supportive individual who couldn’t do enough to help me. I love my current job and was determined to get my license. I am so pleased to report I have kept my role due to Andy. Andy, went above and beyond his paid role to support me with free lessons, Mentoring sessions, access to his own vehicle along with tuition and the opportunity to drive other Instructors’ vehicles. Andy, was able to adapt his Instructor approach at a steady pace for me to build the confidence and knowledge needed to become a driver. My journey to holding this Certificate has been a long road for me, having just passed on my 4th occasion. Despite this, the relief, elation and pride I feel now is due down to Andy’s persistence, dedication, encouragement and commitment to his pupil and it all feels more than worthwhile. The old ‘Tim’ was plagued with nerves and suffering from self-doubt on several occasions in my journey, but Andy was able to make me see that the ‘dreaded Driving Test’ was not a ‘test’ but a positive opportunity for me to show off my driving skills to any examiner. There’s an old saying in Education that you never forget a brilliant teacher. Well, I will never forget Andy and what he has done for me. This license will be life-changing for me personally but also professionally. Having taught myself, I see him as an educator of the highest ability rather than a typical Driving Instructor. Like all good Educators, he set high standards as a perfectionist but had the differentiation to set goals and enable me to break through the mental barriers I had with a strong understanding of the pressure I was under. His sayings, explanations and teachings will stay as a strong voice in my head as I look forward to my future as a qualified driver as they did in my Driving Test. Any one reading this who is struggling with getting their license, nerves around their test or is generally having a difficult time behind the wheel… I offer two pieces of advice… 1. Never give up! Fantastic experience: I started the course at 5 day a complete novice with no practical or theory experience leaving me with the aim to gain experience however I have reached the level required to pass the theory and confidently book my practical test. The 5day manager Andy is a lefend getting you involved and teaching you the theory whilst making the day more entertaining and less like a week long test. Well recommended

Fantastic experience: so far 5-day has been very good, basically i wouldn't have passed my theory if i didn't do a 5-day and for me that is a massive factor. i was struggling with the theory side of things and 5-day really helped me in correcting it and getting it right. my instructor Richard is very good and has put me in the right position to pass my practical. Andy the theory teacher has really helped me and everyone as much as he can and i've seen a big improvement because of his teaching and impact on the class. I strongly recommend anyone who is considering a 5-day to do it as i couldn't have asked for a better way to learn to drive in such a quick period of time.

Looks like someone is creating fake accounts in order to improve their google rating. I do not need to provide you with my booking number as there is nothing more you can help me with. When given the chance to rectify the various issues I had with the course/instructor you didnt. You seek to undermine and rubbish any negetave review which you disagree with. Not the wisest move when your desprate for customers. Hopefullly you learn from this and treat future 5day customers far better.

Negative experience: Complete waste of time and money. Everything they promise they won't deliver. AVOID. Update 5day you know full well I attended your course Andy was my 'instructor' and wobbly bob was the classroom tutor. After I complained you then withdrew my use of a car for my test which meant I missed my test and had to then re book with an alternative company. After I complained publicly on twitter you then attempted to silence me by threatening legal action. Which was as much of a joke as this so called driving school. You are complete scum bags if you wish I can come down to your cringleford office film our conversation and place on YouTube?

Positive experience: My experience with 5 day was pleasant if a little intensive. Before I'd started the course I had barely spent 5 minutes behind the wheel of a car but now i can competently drive a car and passed my theory test, I haven't passed the practical but I will book it soon. Also Andy is a wonderful theory teacher.

Fantastic experience: I wanted 5 Day Franchise to know how thankful I am for all the support giving to me in obtaining my English driver’s licence. Starting the driving lessons, especially at the beginning, I was incredibly anxious, however my brilliant driving instructor Roy was very reassuring. Roy was extremely professional and taught me the skills I needed throughout my learning experience. I had previously been driving in the US and had to take the driving test to be able to drive in the UK. Roy would explain the differences between driving in the US & UK roads in a way that I understood, especially those roundabouts! Thanks to Roy, I passed my driving test the very first time! I would not hesitate to recommend Roy to absolutely everyone, as he was so kind and patient with me. Yours truly Maria Silva California
