Fantastic experience: After several failed tests at other centres, Rob at Licence2Drive prepped me for a pass in Norwich - he did a brilliant job of showing me the key locations over the space of just 2 days, ensured I was as well equipped as possible, and was very patient with my nerves. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: Contacted the driving school to sign up for driving lessons. It took them a week to reply, which happened twice. For the 3rd time, they just simply never reply. I understand there are many people want to learn to drive and the driving school doesn't worry about not having enough clients. But this is too unprofessional

Fantastic experience: Passed with Gareth today and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. I was nervous to start my driving journey to begin with but even after the first lesson the nerves were put to ease with Gareth and he helped me progress at a good rate, whilst also making it a fun and enjoyable experience, we also had a good laugh every now and then too which is brilliant. I’m extremely thankful for all the lessons and help he’s given me along the way and find that I’ve made a friend in him too

Fantastic experience: I was in my late 20s and in full-time work when I started learning with Gareth. I was pretty terrified and not a natural at driving, but Gareth quickly identified my learning style, and how to tackle the barriers to my becoming a confident driver. I'd hoped to pass before I turned 30, which I'm thrilled to say I have achieved on my second attempt, through much perseverance on both our parts! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gareth as an instructor, especially to someone who is looking to learn a little later in life. He has great emotional intelligence to help you get the most from lessons when life gets busy or throws you a curveball so you can keep building your skills and confidence. I found learning around work to be tough, but Gareth is incredibly understanding, never lets you down, and doesn't let you give up on yourself! He was extremely patient and encouraging, and always tried to get the best out of my driving. At first I only aimed to pass my driving test but throughout my lessons with him, I understood how important it is to be a safe, attentive and responsible driver. I genuinely felt like there was a steady progression in my driving skills as each lesson with him went on and I probably wouldn’t have passed my test first time without him.

Fantastic experience: Decided to try lessons again at 39 after having anxiety in my teens when I first tried. Licence 2 drive was very easy to book with and friendly. They placed me with Mike, obviously I was still anxious but my lessons went really well. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor, Mike is so calm and patient and he has made me a calm and confident driver. I passed my test this past week. Would recommend to anyone.

After 6 weeks of lessons (semi-intensive) I passed 1st time today with 1 minor and I could not be happier with the quality of the lessons I received. Mike is honestly an amazing teacher and you couldn't be in safer hands. Additionally, Gareth - who initially dealt with my booking etc. was great; responsive, polite and incredibly accommodating. 5 stars all round.

Fantastic experience: I had Al as my instructor, he was really good, always really patient with me and made sure I always understood what we were going through. Only had 7 months of lessons and then passed my test with only 3 minors. He even changed our lesson days when I had change of timetable at college, and barely ever cancelled on me. Super reliable instructor made things like reverse bay parks seem super easy. Would definitely recommend. Super easy to get along with aswell, it was never awkward.

Gareth is always professional and ensures you are confident by explaining things in a way that makes sense (he compared some situations to football for me so that I fully understand what I needed to do). Fantastic experience: Gareth was fantastic to learn with. His teaching made driving enjoyable and helped me to become a confident and safe driver. I struggled with test day nerves and Gareth was excellent at preparing me for test day by looking at routes, plus the trickier roads in Norwich so I felt I was learning to drive well and not just to pass the test. He knew as soon as I was ready for the practical test and I believe would never let a student go to test who was under (or over) prepared. I really cannot recommend Licence2Drive and Gareth enough!

Fantastic experience: Gareth was my instructor at Licence2Drive and I can’t stress how much he helped me and how much I would recommend both Licence2Drive and Gareth. I was not a natural driver as I worried and overthought things often however Gareth was patient with me the whole time and when he had to be firm it was well placed and nothing more than was necessary. He gave me all the tools and information I needed to pass first time despite the nerves and worrying, couldn’t fault the experience with him.

At 32 I had put off learning to drive after a really uncomfortable experience when I was younger and my confidence had plummeted. Gareth immediately put me at ease and has not only given me the confidence to drive but also to believe that I can achieve anything if I put my mind to it. Fantastic experience: Fantastic driving school! I was taught by Gareth and passed first time after a semi-intensive course over 6 weeks thanks to his calm and patient teaching. Gareth was very helpful and knowledgeable when arranging the lessons and gave invaluable advice to learn at the correct pace for myself and when I had some family issues that conflicted with my arranged lessons Gareth was understanding and very supportive in making sure everything worked at no inconvenience or worry to me. I came to Licence2Drive after a lengthy gap in learning and not having enjoyed by previous learning experience elsewhere but these lessons restored my confidence and enjoyment in driving with great teaching from Gareth, with his friendly and calm approach, where he explained everything clearly and can adapt easily if another approach to learning something would be better. There was a great atmosphere in these lessons where you can learn without pressure and have a laugh but also it is clear there is a great focus on making you a good and safe driver not only to pass your test but be able to drive confidently after. Fantastic experience: I started my lessons with Gareth in December and after recently passing my test first time around in just over 3 months of learning, I couldn't recommend using him any more. It was fairly clear from the start that Gareth was very good at tailoring the way he teaches each individual and at no point were any of my lessons awkward, uncomfortable or anything but professional and productive. In addition to making the lessons enjoyable, Gareth was also flexible to accommodate my busy schedule which therefore allowed me to do lessons before work. After learning with Gareth, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him, and therefore License 2 Drive, to anybody who is thinking about learning. One of the main reasons I decided to use License 2 Drive in the first place was it's great reviews, and I'm glad to be adding to it, thanks a lot!

After a year of putting myself off driving, I then came across Learn to Drive. Gareth was the instructor who contacted me, and I had then started all my lessons with him. He was always so patient with me, and made learning to drive enjoyable for me again. He helped keep my confidence high, and always focused on teaching me how to drive - not on how to pass the test. I was also never made to feel as if I couldn't do something! He also helped fit me in for lessons, and made sure it was always convenient for me! Especially near my test Gareth was able to fit me in for extra lessons just to make sure I felt comfortable. I would recommend Gareth at License to Drive to anybody, and I am so pleased to have now passed my test with his help and support.
