Nordrive Intensive Norwich

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I opted for the 20 hour intensive course that which, in my opinion, was essential for me passing my driving test.

Fantastic experience: Ian was great for my son. Friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. Good correspondence with myself and gave confidence for son to pass his test. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: -Went from nothing to passing my theory & practical in 12 days -Passed my practical with the intensive course -It’s clear Ian has the ability naturally and from experience to cater for any and all driver and personality types; it wouldn’t matter if you’re stressed and have never driven or if you’re doing a top-up -You will get given teaching based on what’s needed, but as you progress so will your autonomy in what you want to practice, but Ian will keep you focused on what’s needed for the practical -I hate to say this be he is funny! Ian will Respect times where you need to focus and concentrate, but it is hard to have a bad day of patter with him -My only recommendation would to be to take the opportunity of autonomy regularly, as either you will have earned it and can grow from jt, or given it’s an intensive and therefore time sensitive Ian will instead suggest what he thinks you need to do, either way you will get where you need to be, but faster if you show desire to improve.

Fantastic experience: I did a midi intensive course (25 hours) with Ian after doing 30 odd hours with another instructor. Ian is so brilliant at his job because he really catered to my individual needs and targeted my weaknesses and made sure I felt comfortable as well as confident in every area of driving. He is a very lovely person as well and is calm and comforting even in the worst of situations. I feel very test ready thanks to Ian :)

Fantastic experience: I've been doing on and off driving lessons for months now and i just couldn't get my confidence up and was starting to loose real hope in ever driving, I'm also autistic and just couldn't get past my own mental block of thinking i just couldn't drive ...until I did Ian's course (to be exact his 30 hour intensive) it was a game changer, Ian made me feel so relaxed and was so patient with me. When i felt i needed breaks or was overwhelmed he was amazingly patient with me, we took everything at my pace and Ian never failed to make me laugh, he'd explain things in ways no one had ever to me before about driving and by the end of the course I was so confident behind the wheel. Yesterday I took my driving test and I passed and it 100% couldn't have happened without Ian. So if you're like me and very nervous to drive, i'd 100% recommend Ian's courses. Fantastic experience: Ian was extremely supportive throughout my driving lessons. As well as providing helpful code names for certain manoeuvers and areas, Ian helped me to gain confidence in the front seat, and always stayed positive. Fantastic experience: I took the Midi 25 hour course having done over 20 hours with a previous instructor over a year ago. From the start, I felt calm and comfortable driving with Ian. We managed to cover the syllabus quickly but efficiently. He helped me get to grips with maneuvers I'd been less comfortable with with really easy to grasp steps that stuck for the test. I really recommend Ian as an instructor and found the intensive sessions really worth it as I ended up passing the test with 0 minors - something I couldn't have done without Ian! Fantastic experience: Quality teaching from a quality Instructor. Ian is one of the friendliest guys I’ve ever met and is no stranger to a one liner. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. Before my course I had very minimal experience behind the wheel yet I passed my test first time. Without Ian as my instructor, I could’ve been in all manner of trouble. His only downside is the football club he supports. I thoroughly enjoyed learning from Ian and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for lessons.

Fantastic experience: When searching for a suitable intensive driving course in the Norwich area I came upon Nordrive. After reading such fab reviews I decided to get in touch. From the very start Ian was approachable and did his best to accommodate our needs. My daughter booked a 40 hour intensive course and from day 1 she felt totally comfortable with Ian. He was friendly, helpful and informative and had lots of patience. She ended up booking her test earlier than originally planned and passed first time within the week. 5 stars to Ian from start to finish. I would totally recommend to anybody and hope that he is still teaching in 2 years time so I can book again for my 2nd daughter.

Fantastic experience: I was originally learning automatic as I had a bad experience with manual however Ian made me feel comfortable enough to try manual and within a week of intensive driving with him, my confidence went sky high and I passed my test first time with 2 minors. Fantastic experience: I wanted to pass my driving test before starting a new job this summer so I searched for an intensive driving course in Norwich and came across Nordrive. Ian was very accommodating in our initial chats before I committed to the course, and he found a suitable week for me. I had done some lessons prior to the pandemic so I had some previous driving experience, but this was my first time behind the wheel in over 2 years. I was a bit nervous, but Ian really helped build my confidence in the driving seat over the week. He was very personable and cheery, yet professional and experienced. We built up to being test-ready over the course of the week, and Ian made sure to prepare me for both passing the driving test and being a safe and efficient driver going forwards. He was very patient and positive over the whole week, and answered all my questions and made clarifications when needed. I passed first time and now feel confident going out on the roads on my own. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Ian’s intensive driving course Norwich enough! I did the 35 hour course as I was a complete novice and passed first time! Ian is calm and completely put me at ease. By the 3rd day I started to really feel like a driver and started to believe i had this in the bag. I always felt that ian wanted to make sure I was a safe driver and completely capable rather than trying to get me passed as fast as possible. His teaching style is manageable and you don’t feel completely overwhelmed with everything that needs to be learnt. If you’re looking for an intensive course in Norwich with someone who is calming, professional and a all round nice person, definitely go for Ian’s courses

Fantastic experience: Our son recently undertook an intensive driving course with Ian. We all found Ian to be an excellent instructor who made him feel at ease instantly! Ian has a great sense of humour and a relaxed style. He covered everything that our son needed to know to pass his test first time! He even kept him focussed and relaxed when the DVSA cancelled the test in the morning and with Ian’s help we got him a test later that day but at a different test centre! We would throughly recommend Nordrive and we will be using Ian again for our other son when the time comes! Within 6 weeks of our son turning 17 he past his test. Thanks Ian!

He is a charismatic and funny character who is very easy to get along with whilst also being extremely professional, perfect for setting your mind at ease when needed. His tailored methods were exactly what I needed, it allowed me to pass my driving test first time this morning, leaving me feeling more confident than ever in the driver's seat!

I had driven previously but I wasn’t confident at all, I completed the 25 hour course with Ian and passed right after. Fantastic experience: I have just finished my weeks intensive course with Ian and I have not a single bad word to say . From the moment I first got into Ian’s car I felt comfortable and at ease. Ian explained every topic clearly and in a memorable way. After struggling with weekly driving lessons, I decided to do an inside course and Ian made the process much easier and I have just passed first time! Fantastic experience: Ian is such a great instructor, he's really good at explaining everything, he breaks it down into manageable parts for learning what's needed and is a very calming when or if you get stressed. He has great way of making you feel comfortable in the car and allows time each for a little warm up before getting into the proper teaching which was always great. He is very proactive in sorting out tests and times and I believe the intensive with him is worth every penny. His sense of humour is a solid 9/10 with some room for improvement ;) Also I passed in the end so can't be too harsh. Nah he's class, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I completed the 2 week intensive course with NorDrive and found it really good. I had never driven before but felt confident learning and now comfortable on the roads. I passed the driving practical first time after the course so can only say thank you a lot and I personally would recommend this course from my positive experience.

Ian was quick to arrange a week for me starting on a Monday, by Friday afternoon I had passed my driving test. It's difficult to know what makes for an ideal driving instructor but Ian ticked every box. He is calm, patient and incredibly friendly, and has expert knowledge on what it takes to pass the exam. The vehicle is also perfect for a learner driver. I found Nordrive through brilliant google reviews and I completely agree with the positive experiences of others. Fantastic experience: I had such an enjoyable week doing the 30 hour course with Ian. I had learnt to drive 4 years ago with instructors that id felt either hadn't prepared me enough or were too impatient and critical. From these experiences i was very nervous about driving and worried about finding the right instructor to help me pass my test. Ian was 100% the right choice as he is extremely relaxed, friendly, patient and brilliant at helping you build and regain your confidence. I went into my test feeling like i had the skills to handle whatever i may encounter on test and in the real world of driving. Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience with Ian, he manage to teach me in 5 days everithing I needed to know to become a good driver. I struggled for 2 years with one’s a week courses with other companies and faild the test 3 times. I strongly recomand Nordrive intensive courses, as it gives you the confidence and strenght to become a good driver.

Fantastic experience: Ian is an extremely capable driver and instructor, and one of the best natural teachers that I have encountered. I have just completed my week with him and, amongst a fair few laughs, have come out with both a driving licence and a feeling of comfort on the road. I completed my 1hr assessment with Ian with no real driving experience, and afterwards immediately booked a full course with him. He is a kind and relaxing teacher who puts you at ease from the moment you get in the car, but also knows when to push you to improve. Fantastic experience: Ian is by far the best instructor in Norwich, I will be forever grateful for his teaching. His attitude and style completely changed my outlook towards learning to drive. After struggling with several instructors in the past, I was recommended an intensive course with Ian and after doing the course I passed first time.
