Fantastic experience: After deciding I wanted to get back on a bike after 10 years, I booked my CBT. The training was spot on and the two instructors were great and took time and effort to explain everything. All the gear was provided by them, from Helmet to boots and all in-between. After completing my CBT, I wanted to get my DAS sorted. I booked the 3 day course with Eric for the further lessons and test practice. I Couldn't fault his training, always had a chat after each ride and if there was something that needed to be improved he took the time to explain in detail what was required and how to improve. He went above and beyond to ensure my tests went as smooth as possible, travelled upto inverness to ensure I could get a test when the instructor at Aberdeen was on holiday.... I Would 100% recommend Biketec to anyone looking for great information and training.

Booking with biketec was straight forward and i booked for my cbt and 3 day intensive direct access. Fantastic experience: A fantastic experience with Biketec, during both my CBT (Ryan), and Direct Access (Eric). Eric is highly competent, bringing a perfect mix of patience, ‘tough love’ with that hint of sarcasm to ensure you relax whilst gaining the skills necessary. Most importantly he cares, and does what's necessary to make sure you know how to keep yourself safe on the road. Eric enabled me to pass Mod 1 & 2 first time. Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT with BikeTec mid-March 2024 after a 16 year hiatus from my last CBT. Heath took me and I found him very reassuring and confidence inspiring. On the back of this I bought a 125 and for the last 2 months put in the miles. I signed up for the direct access with BikeTec and yesterday passed Module 1 and today passed Module 2, first time around with one observation only. Eric took me the M1 & M2 training and I must say he was absolutely fantastic. Like Heath, Eric was patient, confidence inspiring and could see where I was making mistakes allowing me to focus on them and work them out. I can thoroughly recommend BikeTec and will do so to my network. Happy days

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Biketec, for both my CBT, and a year later for direct access. Eric has just the right mix of patience and ‘tough love’ to make sure you rapidly pick up the skills you need to pass Mod 1 and Mod 2. More importantly, he makes sure you know how to keep yourself safe on the road. Glad to say I passed both parts of the test today, with only one minor fault between both elements, and that’s testament to Eric’s training. Fantastic experience: CBT was done in Inverurie with Ivan providing clear guidance, safety, technique and equipment advice. You start with a time off road learning about basic bike functions and handling and finished with an on road session around Inverurie. Mod 1 and Mod 2 practice were done in Cove with Eric being the instructor. Provided easy to follow safety, technique and test advice. If there was something I was unsure of I was able to ask and get a clear and concise answer. Mod 1 training starts with repetitive practice of the Mod 1 test components(Similar to the off road practice of the CBT) and then you're taken to the test centre for the test Mod 2 training is on road practice and then you're taken to the test centre Although helmets, gloves and other clothing are provided I would say bring your own, you won't regret it(You're going to need them anyway once you pass after all) Would recommend if you're going for either

Fantastic experience: Excellent service by the team. Payed for the direct access course at £800 and had my full licence within the month. I did my CBT at the beginning of November with Ivan and Heath, both very friendly and knowledgable instructors. I then did my Mod 1 and 2 near the end of November with Eric, another fantastic instructor who was very patient and laid back. After the 3 days with Eric I felt very confident going into my test days and passed both first time.

Fantastic experience: I think Biketec is a wonderful training company that has impacted my riding philosophies thoroughly. Picture this, you’re a 17 year old kid who’s from the Philippines and you find yourself in dire need of transport, you look around and settle on a company called biketec expecting cut and dry training and end up getting the best riding experience of your life from CBT to A1 license. The CBT instruction biketec provides is world class with instructors like Heath and Doug who provide very useful constructive criticism that helps shape you into being a model rider, they were also very friendly and helped me calm my nerves when I was feeling on edge during my CBT training. I passed my A1 during August with the help of Eric and even though at times when I got a bit frustrated at myself for taking a couple of tries to pass my mod 1, he never gave up on me, offered some additional training when other trainers would have second guesses, and after I took all of his advice I passed perfectly and went on to pass my mod 2 first try.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant service provided. Prior to contacting Biketec, i had never even sat on a motorcycle before in my life and by the end of the combined CBT/DAS training i left feeling confident that i knew exactly what i was doing. From the level of training provided by the guys at Biketec you could tell that these guys enjoyed their jobs as instructors and want you to pass the tests. (The fact that i and many others trained by biketec are passing Mod1/2 tests with not a single fault, speaks volumes on it's own). Now recently just completed my direct access with Eric as my instructor, Eric was very flexible with dates/timings to squeeze me in before I left to go travelling and managed to pass mod 1&2 first time with no real dramas. Fantastic experience: If you book a direct access course through another training provider in Aberdeen, you have picked the wrong company! Eric of Biketec has been extremely accommodating and has genuinely gone the extra mile to make sure that I passed the test, I really can’t thank him enough!

Fantastic experience: Eric provided me with a 3 day DAS course for the unrestricted motorcycle licence. He took me from being a nervous wreck to passing with only one minor fault. Initially his firmness terrified me and I felt like I couldn't do anything right. Then I started to realise that he couldn't afford to let me make mistakes given the risk posed on bikes. So he kept pointing out my mistakes until I stopped doing them. Eric has a keen attention to detail and was able to hone in on why I was making mistakes. It is evident he cares about his students as he is keeping such a watchful eye on us during practice. During emergency stop procedures he was quick to call me out for switching into third gear when I didn't even realise I had put myself into it. He was supportive and patient when he saw I was struggling with emergency stops giving me go after go until I felt more able, and then continued to offer me more opportunities to ensure I nailed it on the MOD 1 test. He listened to my concerns about routes and junctions and then planned quickly planned a route which showed me how to navigate them. His extensive knowledge of examiner routes put me at ease during the test and helped me cope with the tricky junctions in town and on the back roads. As such, I highly recommend contacting Eric if you want to not only have a memorable experience learning to ride motorcycles, but also one that is likely to ensure you safety long into the future. In most of my maneuvers I can still hear him reminding me to make my lifesaver checks.

I did my CBT with them in October 2022 (a great experience with a great bunch of guys). Unfortunately due to working ad-hoc offshore I was struggling to find the time to book additional training and modules 1 & 2 as I never knew when I would be home or be home long enough to get it done. I contacted Biketec again on the 18th May 2023 while I was still offshore looking to book further training and my module 1 & 2 tests for when I would be getting home in a few days. I was fully expecting to be told it wasn’t possible on such short notice but to my surprise Biketec went above and beyond to get me my modules 1 & 2 booked by requesting additional testing slots. I got home from offshore on the 23rd May, I then had 1 on 1 training with Eric on a Sunday 28th May in the afternoon to get me up to speed riding a larger 650cc bike (I had only ever ridden a 125cc previously) and preparing for the mod 1 test. I was then back on the Tuesday 30th May for my mod 1 test first thing in the morning which I passed easily due to the excellent training given on the Sunday. The rest of the day was spent with 1 on 1 training again for the mod 2 test which I did the same Tuesday…last test of the day and passed with zero faults. I honestly believe I would not have passed without Eric and the way he does his training. He is very knowledgeable, patient and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. His bikes are great and very well kept. Everything is done in a way to build confidence in a rider. I honestly can’t thank Eric and Biketec enough for everything they have done for me and would happily recommend them to anyone. Brilliant service from start to finish!!

I cant recommend Biketec enough.

Fantastic experience: Done my cbt last year having never been on a bike and now passed mod 1 and 2 both first time thanks to the guys at biketec. Very knowledgeable and patient instructors. Would highly recommend biketec for anyone thinking about getting there bike licence.

Negative experience: Shocking service due to financial issues I have to cancel asked for my refund almost 3 weeks later I am still wait after calls ,voice mails ,texts an emails I have no response from them I have to go though PayPal never use them again!!!

Fantastic experience: 11 days ago I’d never stepped foot on a bike. From day one it was a great experience, doing my CBT with Ivan at Inverurie, started from scratch and although there were others there with some bike experience, it did not matter, you were given the time you needed to learn. The setup for the training was good and we were paired up with someone of similar ability. Moving onto the DAS, I had a great 3+ days with Eric. His training was relaxed and not pressured, making a great training environment. There is a good setup for training and in an environment with plenty of space for your mod one training and getting prepared for your mod two stuff with little interruption from others and conveniently near the test centre. Got the chance to use the mod one test area for a practice prior to your test. Also convenient placed to head out on various roads and roads used for your test. Also made sure we got some extra practice in just before your test, which was ideal. Definitely would recommend to anyone. Shame I passed my test first time with minimal faults, because I’d certainly would have enjoyed another few days with them!

Fantastic experience: A great experience from CBT to full unrestricted A licence. Done the DAS with Eric who is clearly a extremely knowledgeable veteran biker and got me through Mod 1 and 2 first time with no issues, good value also. Thanks to Eric and the team at Biketec!!!

Fantastic experience: Having never been on a bike before, Biketec took me from complete noob to passing my Mod 2 in under 30 days. I did the CBT then DAS course and they arranged for additional lessons between the 2 elements at no extra charge to bring me up to standard. I had 3 different instructors in Doug, Heath and then Eric. All 3 were excellent in their own ways. Just the right amount of laid back tuition with serious undertones to ensure I got all the skills needed to pass without feeling too up against it. I actually really enjoyed the whole process of learning how to safely ride a motorbike. I understand what other reviewers have said with communication issues, especially initially, but don't let this put you off. Biketec go out of their way to help you and genuinely care about teaching and getting you through your tests. Thanks Eric and your team for making this such a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Eric and the Biketec team for helping me realise my life long dream of riding a motorcycle. Your instruction and advice was excellent, and it was given with no small amount of patience! I'm sure that I am a better, safer and more confident rider for having gone through the training with you. I would highly recommend Biketec to any aspiring motorcyclists. They really were great and made the whole process simple. I took on the training with 0 motorcycle experience (none whatsoever!) and I am now out and about on my own bike and having the time of my life. Go for it. Cameron Sword

Negative experience: I originally enquired about a CBT 19 months ago and was told I was put on a waiting list, months went by and I never got an update. I enquired again and was told I’d be able to be booked in for Sunday, I told them that would be great and asked about what time it would be, never heard from them again. For reference I am writing this on the Sunday I would’ve been attending. The communication is horrible and seemingly this is a common issue

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t waste your time using them. Very rude owner. Real shame because the CBT instructor was fantastic and very helpful. Shame about the rest of the staff I had to deal with.
