Fantastic experience: I am so happy to write a review for Lucas driving school. The care and ease with which Mr.Lucas, my driving instructor took while teaching me was enormous and he clearly told me what and where to focus while driving, and I got my license under his guidance in the first shot itself. Thanks to him and his useful tips and tricks. Thanks a lot Mr.Lucas. I am happy to give 6 stars and definitely recommend to everyone....

Negative experience: Lucas taught me the basics on how to drive well, taking me first to quiet areas to practice and talking me through everything. However, after many, many lessons I was still practicing the basics and I wasn't seeing the amount of progression I was wanting for the amount of hours and money I was putting into it. With no roundabouts and dual carriageways covered almost 50hours in, and I wasn’t allowed to drive for the full lesson until about 20hours in. I went with a new instructor and passed very quickly! Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test first time after learning with Lucas. I liked the pace we set and my goal really was to be a better driver instead of just good enough to pass. Taking the time to really understand why, was important to me. I would definitely recommend Lucas.

Fantastic experience: I had my driving lessons in the UK with Lucas and he was an amazing instructor. Very patient and friendly. He was ontime always and offered additional training sessions as needed near to the driving test date including mock tests. He alwayes wanted me to drive perfectly. I was able to pass with just 1DF in 1st time under Lucas's guidance. I can highly recomend him.

Negative experience: As other reviews have mentioned, the lessons are slow-paced and Lucas refused to set a test date - I believe this is done so he can make as much money from you as possible. When I moved to a different instructor I was able to quickly book a test and pass. It is also important to mention that many of these reviews are written early on after only a few lessons - as I originally gave a more positive review before the lack of progression. I recommend avoiding this driving instructor and going with something like RED driving instead.

Fantastic experience: After a couple of sessions with Lucas my confidence has definitely improved in driving and having no experience i’ve learned a lot already. Lucas is patient and very helpful but challenging at the same time and helps push me to my next steps. He’s always on time and never puts you under stress, he’s very calm and understanding while remaining professional and letting you take control when comfortable. Would recommend Lucas

Negative experience: Avoid Lucas at all cost! I was over 30+ hours worth of lessons and was coming up to my test and he refused me his car and he said I was nowhere near ready. I passed straight away with a new instructor. All the best Lucas

Negative experience: Don't use this instructor - Only interested in taking your money and continually makes excuses to hold you back from booking a test. Ended up going elsewhere for one lesson to be told should of been in for a test months ago. Immediately booked test with other examiner and passed straight away. Do not do your lessons with Lucas!! You have been warned.

Fantastic experience: I've had about 10 hours of lessons so far with Lucas, and it's been going really well. He gives clear instructions and you know what you'll be practicing each lesson through the course book, making it easier to do in practice. Lucas also keeps track on the things individuals need more practice on lesson to lesson, and ticks them off as we start improving and doing them regularly.

Fantastic experience: Lucas is a lovely driving instructor, he explains everything incredibly well and is really patient. If you're anxious about driving and want an understanding instructor, I can't recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: I had a few lessons with Lucas and I am very happy so far. He is very good at explaining things, encouraging, very patient and really helpful as well. I am a very nervous driver but he helps me overcome my fear and makes driving much more enjoyable than I have even imagined.
