Fantastic experience: First of all want to thank SLM for accepting our booking in such a short notice knowing how busy they are. We were assigned the incredible instructor Lee who is an amazing teacher when it comes to guidance and knows how to tune things up. A very positive and kind human being. I would highly recommend this school for anyone looking for ADI Part 2 or Part 3 training.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had driving lessons on and off for the last few years with many different driving schools, I’ve struggled to find a driving instructor who has found a way to teach me in a way I understand, I do suffer from adhd and it’s always made it difficult for me to learn like other people, after so many lessons i still wasn’t picking up on certain thing and I couldn’t get over my anxiety and this caused me to panic behind the wheel, so initially I gave up…. Until I came across a post shared recommending lee, my circumstances changed and I was now in a position I needed to be able to drive! riddled with even more anxiety I decided to contact Lee, and let me tell you, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made, within in 4 weeks my anxietys have gone from feeling like I was only safe on a straight road when no body else in the world is on them!! To driving like a pro through rainworth bypass, not only has Lee got me driving safely and confidently, he’s also taken that time to help me understand things, tried and tried get my head round my theory and it just hasn’t clicked for 3 years I’ve tried practicing and still couldn’t take it in, lees spent a few hours to explain things to me differently and now im ready to take my theory! And I can confidently say I will pass and that’s all thanks to Lee, honestly can’t thank Lee enough for his commitment to ensure he does he very best to get you to test ready confidently.

Fantastic experience: Been with Craig since last June after coming back from uni and really needing to pass my test before my theory ran out. I could not recommend SLM more, I’ve been pushed hard but the results today were everything I wanted. My confidence has grown so much since starting lessons with SLM. Fantastic experience: I was very nerves at the start of my lesson but Craig soon made me feel so comfortable and went at a pace that was grate for me and made me feel at so much ease even with a few medical problems along the way he was so understanding with this and made sure that this didn’t side track my driving lessons I couldn’t of passed of it wasn’t for a fantastic driving instructor thank you so much for giving me a new lease of life I would 100% recommend you thank you again will miss our weekly driving lessons

Fantastic experience: I passed first time with Shaun . I have a learning disability and sometimes don't understand things the way that others might - Shaun was very patient, he would take the time to explain things in multiple different ways until I finally understood and would even draw out diagrams for me . My lessons were always enjoyable while still teaching me everything I needed to know . If you're looking for a reliable instructor that feels more like a friend then I recommend SLM !

Fantastic experience: I started my driving lessons last year with slm with shaun has my driving instructor I was absolutely rubbish when I first started learning to drive and shaun was so patient and he was very easy to get on with he helped me with so much when I was feeling anxious he listened and even when I had no confidence in myself and did not think I could do it but thank u to shaun I passed .y theory test straight away and passed my test straight away so I will deffo send people to slm I'm so glad I choose to Learn with slm

Fantastic experience: I passed my test today with 0 driving faults, all thanks to Lee Benson. He’s been so patient and understanding especially when I changed from a manual to automatic. Throughout the time learning with SLM I’ve gained so much confidence in myself not only when driving but as a person. With the help from the therapy sessions whilst driving. Fantastic experience: passed my driving test with lee benson on Monday first time with only 4dfs which I've been waiting for 11 years to be able to afford and lee was the 3rd driving instructor I've had over the years was only learning with him since about October and my test did get moved a few times due to covid but I finally got there in the end and I certainly couldn't have done it without lee he's a true legend thank you very much mate

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my test! Lee Benson taught me and I cannot thank him or recommend him enough. I was a very anxious driver (and person in general!), and Lee managed to calm my nerves and also keep me going. He always believed in me (even when I wasn’t so sure!) and I couldn’t have done it without him. He teaches in such a calm and collected manner - with lots of stories and humour too. I looked forward to our lessons and will miss our laughs! He was fantastic and I’d recommend to anyone, but particularly those who are nervous and anxious around driving.

I am a very anxious person and lee helped me to become more confident in my driving ability. He teaches in ordered way which means you learn everything you need to know from.start to finsh and learn everything fully. Fantastic experience: I passed today on my second try. It was a long hard road for me to get comfortable with the car, but Lee Benson had my back the whole time. With patience and humour he helped me get to where I am now, a more confident person and driver. Highly recommended! Considering the current health issues and regulations. The car was always clean and masks worn. I always felt safe which was very important for a nervous driver. Lee never doubted me, just what I needed.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant! no complaints, Shaun is thorough, patient and learning is fun. You can have a good laugh with him and the environment is relaxed, but he ensures you're safe and driving with top form. As for money, you're getting more bang for your buck as the quality of teaching far outweighs his prices. Would 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: Been having lessons with Sean Murphy and i'm starting to get close to taking my test. In the beginning I was arrogant and blamed everyone else but he stuck with me even in my arrogant self and taught me the safety and consequences of my actions that and being a genuinely nice funny and professional man couldn't ask for a better driving instructor or school.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a driving school who are not only professional but also very friendly and good value for money then you should definitely contact SLM. Before contacting SLM I had been having lessons on and off for years. I always stopped because I never felt comfortable with my instructor. I hate driving ( well used to hate it) and lessons used to be a chore, every week I would dread them and never thought I would be able to drive confidently. From the 1st lesson with Shaun I knew things would be different. He takes the lessons at my pace and makes me feel very comfortable, he has made me realise that mistakes are natural and he always explains where I went wrong, he has never once got annoyed and certainly never raised his voice, every lesson, he is happy, friendly and he has a wicked sense of humor. I no longer dread lessons and every week I can see that I am improving. I am now at the stage where I look forward to getting behind the wheel. Shaun is honest and reliable and will always look after your best interests, he will get you test ready in your own time, but will not drag things out unnecessarily. If you are looking to learn from the best, then it has to be SLM.

Fantastic experience: I was someone who had failed his driving test 6 times with an instructor from another school, feeling pretty defeated and hopeless. Tried once more with SLM and Lee Benson, he helped me restore my confidence and take my driving ability to a higher level and in my first test under him I passed. Would seriously recommend.
