Fantastic experience: Done a pass express with Helen who was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She made me feel really comfortable & safe and never made me feel bad for making mistakes ( which we all make as learners ) and all we done was laugh! Was very accommodating around my availability & life around children. I got the best early Christmas present and after just 9hrs of driving I got my pass first time. Thank you again helen, you are the BEST at what you do. I’d recommend this company to everyone, but I would specially recommend Helen. She’s a true angel. xxx

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of taking my 20 hour passXpress course with Stuart. I was very nervous to begin with but Stuart was extremely patient with me and taught me so much within a week! With his help and patience I passed 1st time! Negative experience: Honestly I didn’t have a great experience with ignition. I would not recommend the pass express course, though it might depend on the instructor. They couldn’t get me a test booked for around the time my course was booked. So I would have to do the course then wait months before the test which seemed pointless. Then I was given the option to rebook the course for another time but they still didn’t have a test booked so I’d probably have to move it again or just take lessons weekly. I chose weekly because I didn’t want a massive gap in-between my driving as I’d already been taking weekly lessons for a few months. But taking the course hours as weekly lessons was a complete waste of money as it cost much more. I should have been offered a refund for the course instead. Then when I finally did have a test booked, my instructor had been on holiday so I hadn’t had a lesson for 3 weeks, so my first lesson back was a bit rusty. They cancelled my test saying I wasn’t ready even though I had multiple more lessons before the test date. I explained this was just because I hadn’t driven in 3 weeks but was essentially told that it was tough luck and they weren’t letting me take my test. Beware as I was not told this when I booked, but my instructor tried to charge me for another test as she said that the test fee was not included if they decided you were not ready at the end of the course. So they would make you pay for the test again even though it is supposed to be included with the price. I was also charged an admin fee of £20 on top of the course fee which I thought was unfair as you are not told about it when booking. My instructor cancelled multiple lessons on me for reasons such as, they had things to do before their holiday, they’re dog had a bad walk that morning and they wanted to stay with them and they were still at their families house so wouldn’t get to me on time. The price of the course was £800 for 15 hours, my instructor then tried to charge me £900 and said it was an accident and that was the new price of the course. My instructor also spoke badly about other students which made me uncomfortable, saying that they ignored certain students calls/texts so they didn’t have to book with them. As well as badly about other ignition instructors saying they were useless instructors. Then we tried to book a new test after the original one was cancelled and they said the people at ignition who book the tests were on holiday (this is what the £20 admin fee was for apparently) so I’d have to keep a look out for a test myself. I then texted my instructor that a test was available and had no response so booked it and had to pay for it myself when it was meant to be included with the course. Then I was told she had a student who had a test the same day so she would have to check with the other student what time it was because she didn’t know what time their test was. Then never received any response about whether I could go ahead with it, so I cancelled it. This meant I also had to cancel a week worth of lessons that we had booked for the week before the test as I cannot afford 5-10 hrs of lessons to not do the test at the end of it. Because she left it so long to reply to me about whether that test could go ahead, it was under 48 hrs until my first lesson so she charged me for that too. I was told that the pass xpress course would get me passed by October as that’s when my theory was going to run out which I was worried about and had been assured that I would be passed before that. I started lessons in April, I am now having to retake my theory test because I have been continuously messed around. I asked ignition for help during these issues and they said I would just have to speak to my instructor and forwarded my emails to them. So not very helpful if you do have issues with an instructor. The pass xpress course really was a waste of my time and money. I am now having to find a new instructor. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I just completed a 20-hour PassXpress course with Ignition and am thrilled to say I passed my driving test on the first try! For anyone wanting to pass quickly and efficiently, I can’t recommend this course highly enough. A huge thank you goes to my instructor, Peter White, who was truly exceptional from day one. Peter’s calm, patient, and encouraging teaching style made every lesson stress-free and enjoyable. He has a unique ability to explain things in a way that's both clear and confidence-building. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or pressured; instead, Peter created a positive, supportive environment that made learning to drive an absolute pleasure. Peter’s warmth and friendliness made all the difference, and I believe that’s exactly what every learner needs. Fantastic experience: Pete was my instructor for a 40 hour Pass Express course and I couldn't have asked for anybody better. After having no experience, he quickly filled me with the confidence I needed with driving which led to me passing first time! Fantastic experience: Lerning to drive with Iwona was an absolute blast! Not only did I learn how to master the road, but I also had the best time doing it. Every lesson was filled with laughter,fun and plenty of 'oh no,not the narrow and winding roads again ' moments! I’m honestly going to miss our driving sessions! Fantastic experience: I had Helen for my lessons after having a bad experience with another instructor from a previous driving school. The difference between my driving came on so much due to Helen being so patient and such a brilliant instructor, I can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without her. She’s kind, calm, funny and professional. Due to my anxiety and not being able to take my anxiety medication when driving she even went out of her way ( when she doesn’t work weekends) to get me an early morning Sunday test due to my anxiety around strangers.Thank you sooo much Helen, my confidence has come on so much finally being able to feel confident enough to go out and drive alone! Fantastic experience: First attempt and passed. Just incredible. Dean Burton is very patient and explained everything very well. He is the best instructor ever, and I recommend him to everyone. I knew that this journey for me would be hard and stressful, but he made it to be so easy, nice and pleasant, that even if I was very stressed, I managed to pass on the first attempt. Fantastic experience: I just passed my exam today! I have had an amazing experience with my instructor Iwona Bator. She’s an absolutely fabulous person and the best instructor ever! Our lessons were always interesting! Iwona’s showed me everything what is important to be indepentend driver! I will be always remember “mirrors, signal, manouver”, „new road = mirrors” I’m really gratefull for her patiente (I’m really horrible when I need to learn something new). Fantastic experience: Requested a Tuesday afternoon slot and was passed on accordingly. Ended up with Mark Leighton, an all round great guy with a keen eye for missed mirror checks. Competitive rates and a car kept to a high standard. Passed first time with a newfound confidence.

Fantastic experience: I had an outstanding experience with my instructor Nell, she goes above and beyond with different ways to teach you how to learn, she finds a way to work around your schedule even if that does mean working overtime. She is very accurate with the hours that you would need to learn and never tries to push you for more if you don't want them. Fantastic experience: Passed my test with only 2 minor faults. Wow! Ivon is an amazing instructor, she’s very supportive and patient. I had picked up some really bad driving habits from Africa but she’s made me a very safe, discipline and confident driver. She planned my lessons strategically to address my bad habits and corrected them. I will always recommend Ivon she’s the best.

Fantastic experience: I have had an amazing experience with ignition, with my driving instructor Nicola McDonald. She has been brilliant helping me deal with my anxiety and confidence. She is an absolutely fantastic teacher and a lovely person to have a chat with. She helped me pass my driving test first time with just two minors. I was a nervous driver when starting and never thought I would pass but my driving capability and confidence improved massively! Pete was very patient and made me feel incredibly comfortable when driving. I went from being nervous behind a wheel on my first day to passing my test first time the next week, all thanks to Pete!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to my instructor Tom I managed to pass my driving test. Managed to learn at a pace I was comfortable with and also practice every manoeuvre and driving feature to a great standard. My instructor Michal was not only an absolute pleasure to work with but his knowledge, expertise and patience is undoubtedly what pushed me through to pass first time, in just 1 month. His ability to adapt and use a variety of different teaching methods that best suit the learner driver is what built my confidence on the road and possibly yours too. Fantastic experience: Dwayne is a brilliant driving instructor, he’s been so patient with me and helped me become a more confident driver since starting with him. He’s a great communicator and made the lessons fun. I passed my test first time today and I will miss our lessons. I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting automatic driving lessons!

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend enough. My instructor was Dave Cartwright, he was amazing! After having a bad experience with another driving instructor I felt like I was getting nowhere, however Dave was brilliant. He taught me the skills needed to be a competent driver. He’s super patient and supportive, and I had a laugh with him on my lessons. He’s an absolute legend. I ended up passing 1st time and I couldn’t have done it without him.

Fantastic experience: Peter white is an outstanding instructor. His way of teaching and going through everything is well structured and makes you feel safe and confident as a driver. I did a 30 hour passxpress course with him and passed first time!

Always found a way to adapt different teaching methods and approach so that I can understand how and more importantly why. Result was passing my test on first try with zero driving faults. Absolutely worth the time and money.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start? A massive thankyou to Helen for being an amazing instructor, she was my third instructor and after a rocky road with the first two I finally felt comfortable and was able to learn and I’m so happy Helen was able to teach me, she took me in as one of her own and I enjoyed every second even after writing her car off and having to reschedule my test we was able to pass in a new car I only had 1/2 hours in !!
