Negative experience: I began lessons with Janet a year ago. She was more thorough and technical than my previous instructors, which I appreciated, however I was close to tears during many of my lessons. Janet will not hesitate to shout and swear at other road users and raise her voice and snap at you, and I felt she would get very annoyed when I asked questions or didn’t understand what she was saying. I found it difficult to understand how she wanted me to respond to her when I’d make a mistake. She’d often ask me to explain why I had done what I had, but if I answered her she would only become more annoyed and seemed to view my response as criticism of her and her driving experience. Blaming my own sensitivity, I recommended Janet to a more confident friend looking for an automatic instructor. They reported an even worse experience, during which Janet swore at them, called them the worst driver ever, and reduced them to tears several times. I have now decided to continue lessons with a new instructor. Janet is incredibly knowledgeable but I would not recommend her.

Fantastic experience: I used Janet for both my boys and both passed first time! I was very happy with her time keeping and flexibility, as she fit in with college and was able to give extra lessons during the build up to the tests. Thank you!

It took a couple off attempts for me to pass but Janet always kept my aspirations high and helped me deal with nerves and was very helpful after my setbacks. Fantastic experience: I was delighted to pass my test first time after learning with Janet. She was very encouraging and built up my confidence which was low after previously struggling with learning in a manual car. She was a very reliable instructor and very flexible with lesson times as I only had short time frame to learn before my test. Positive experience: I learned with Janet for 1 year and we had many ups and downs. Unfortunately, my experience with her was not that great due to her teaching style. I found she was not very patient in comparison to my previous instructor and my current instructor that I had just passed my test with. I cried in many of my lessons with her as she can sometimes shout when I make a dangerous mistake, so much so that I decided to change her to another instructor 2 weeks before my test. I hope she is more patient with her learners and not very harsh with them like with me.

Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test 1st time with only a couple of driving fault last week with Janet. She was always very patient and understanding my nervousness. Fantastic experience: Just passed my test first time with zero fault and that says it all. Had many instructors before but no others could get me to test standard other than Janet. Fantastic experience: I am an older learner (24) and have not learnt to drive previously due to confidence issues. I decided that I wanted to learn to drive an automatic which is how I found Janet. I have always found Janet to be calm, understanding and great to have a laugh with. I ended up spending a year learning to drive, mainly due to my own lack in confidence but once I got over those hurdles, I found it miles easier. I couldn't recommend Janet enough... I passed first time with only one minor fault, something I would have never imagined would happen. Thank you Janet!!

Negative experience: I did 20hours with Janet, though all was going well then stoped getting any replies to messages/calls even after seeing her on the road teaching. Waste of time if you're looking for a reliable instructor to carry you to your test!

Fantastic experience: Passed first time thanks to Janet! I started lessons in May after having a terrible experience with another instructor in the area who basically got me to drive the car on my first lesson without any prior instructions. Janet helped me gain so much confidence in my driving and she goes above and beyond preparing you for your test. I highly recommend her and it’s well worth booking 2 lessons a week close to your test if you can. I did this and it felt like I improved so much in such a short space of time. Couldn’t be happier to finally have a full license, thank you Janet!

Negative experience: I've had my fair share of driving instructors in preparation for my driving test, and regrettably, my experience with Janet was by far the least positive. My test was scheduled in Farnborough, a place I was unfamiliar with, given that I reside in London. Therefore, I sought lessons in Farnborough to become acquainted with the local roads. Enter Janet. Despite having previously been assured of my driving competence by a London-based instructor, my session with Janet was distressing. Rather than helping me navigate the unfamiliar roads, she constantly shouted, unnerving me at every turn. Instead of refining my skills, she tried to overhaul my entire driving style. Her frequent interventions with the steering wheel put us in jeopardy on several occasions. To top it all off, she had the audacity to suggest I was unprepared for my upcoming test and recommended I postpone it, suggesting more lessons under her guidance. Her tactics severely dented my confidence. However, I was fortunate to find another Farnborough instructor who validated my driving skills and prepared me adequately. I went on to pass my test and completed it with a mere 3 minors. I would strongly advise against using Janet's services. There are certainly better instructors in Farnborough. If you're currently with her and questioning your ability to drive or grappling with certain aspects, I'd urge you to consider switching instructors. Furthermore, upon cancelling my remaining hours with her, the messages I received were nothing short of abhorrent. Instead of reflecting on her own teaching methods, she had the temerity to question my decisions. Such unprofessionalism only cemented my conviction that parting ways was the right choice. If you're seeking a supportive and constructive learning environment, I'd recommend looking elsewhere J.Diabira

Fantastic experience: So I am an older learner ...35...there was a reason I never learnt to drive...anxiety!! Jeanette was so supportive right from the beginning after I explained my anxiety before I even had my first lesson. She helped me gain confidence behind the wheel, challenged and supported me to go outside of my own comfort zone. Jeanette became more than just my instructor, she became my friend and would tailor each lesson based on my anxiety levels that day. And now I have my licence and wow the freedom to me and my kids has been incredible this summer holiday. Thank you :)

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Janet, she was very professional, helpful, patient, considerate, but firm when needed. Both being hungarians, we often had a laugh during lessons which made me feel less nervous which was so important at the time considering that I was 9 months pregnant during pandemic and thanks to her, still managed to pass first time. Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant! I've had Janet as my instructor and I've passed my exam for the first time! Kind, patient and really professional.

Negative experience: I had Janet I found she was very shouty, rude and come across aggressive. She would often get angry and frustrated easily and start gabbing the steering while while driving very forceful when unnecessary. She would swear at you and if you made a mistake more then once after she told you then she would get frustrated. No patience what so ever made me feel uncomfortable. She is more expensive than most instructors so if I’m paying more then I expect a calm instructor. She also wasn’t moving me along quick I had 20 hours and evrey week I was doing the same thing. I’ve moved to someone new and a lot better experience

Negative experience: Janet is not professional driving instructor.I had 22 hour's experience with her and I wasn't happy with her teaching and explaining.She was very rude to me and every time when I made mistake she was shouting and I was getting more stressed.She didn't teach me to do manuovers while taking this 22 hours.After I understand that she is not the instructor which I was looking for and I changed her straight away because I couldn't feel confident.I highly NOT recommend Janet as instructor.

Fantastic experience: anyone looking for a driving instructor janet is your lady. i felt as i could be myself and always felt comfortable in the car. there was often time for jokes and the atmosphere was a great place to learn.

Fantastic experience: Janet is a brilliant driving instructor, she’s so kind and very good at communicating and ensures you go over anything that you struggle with again and again until it’s perfect, giving you the best opportunity to pass your test as soon as you can. She helped me pass first time as a brand new driver, couldn’t have asked for anyone better.

Negative experience: Not a professional driving instructor at all. For the first few months my lessons with Janet were okay but the recent 3 weeks have been terrible. Was constantly shouted at for making mistakes and had some rude comments as aswell. ‘stop being such a baby” “why can’t you get it into 5th gear it’s not like i’ve put my hand on the gear stick after wiping my nose with bogies on, constantly telling me I was going to fail the test and told me that I’m not using her car in the test, being rude and making me feel more nervous so then I couldn’t reach my full potential in the driving lesson. Does not prepare you for the test at all since in my last lesson I changed gears harshly and got told I was going to fail for that however I had been doing this continuously for a while and only just tells me this 3 weeks before my test. On my last lesson before I started driving she gave me a lecture about my driving and how I needed to stop being such a baby. I felt uncomfortable with her and in the first 30 mins I wanted to go home and told her I didn’t want her as an instructor. The treatment I got was very disrespectful and not professional at all as instructors should never shout at you no matter what.

Fantastic experience: Thankyou so much for everything! Janet is honestly the best instructor I’ve had (I’ve had 3 different ones the past 3 years) she was incredibly patient with the fact that I suffer from anxiety and my driving mistakes would often triggered my nerves/ anxiety attacks however she was so understanding and reassuring. I honestly don’t think I would have passed 1st time without her (with only one minor too!!) I can’t recommend her enough and i will be forever grateful for her kindness and support right from the beginning of this year until my test :) Thankyou again !! All the best :)

Fantastic experience: Janet is simply a great driving instructor. I was a driver with experience in US, EU and India and needed an UK license. I took the intensive course and Janet was very accommodating in fitting evening schedules and methodical in her training. Janet ensured that I got an understanding of the test area with lots of pointers (Queens roundabout - see Shell station - right turn - right lane!!) which really helped as I an not local to Farnborough. I can only imagine how intimidating my test would have been had I not had the level of comfort I developed under Janet's training. Lastly, I had developed quite a few bad habits that had snuck in from when I drove previously. Janet really coached me on these and helped ensure the tips and guidance were simple and (for the engineer in me) also explained why. I can whole heartedly say I am a much more confident in my driving safety than I was previously. I also passed my test on the first try with 5 minor faults, whoop whoop!! Can't recommend Janet enough!
