Fantastic experience: The team at 1st gear were really friendly, helpful and made sure that you knew everything that was needed to pass your tests. They were also very helpful in providing guidance on how to maintain your bike and what to look out for. I would highly recommend 1st Gear, My suggestion is if you are looking to get your full bike license then you will be given the all the guidance, support and encouragement to ensure you will pass with flying colours. Thank you Andy and his team for helping me!

Fantastic experience: Did both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 with 1st gear. Amazing training from everyone. A special shout to Jacko for his superb support and instruction (and patience). Could not recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time down with Andy and the other instructors at 1st Gear. I booked a 4-day DAS training course. I passed on my first try. They have really good people down there to get you through and great bikes. I’m really happy with the service and trust me guys, if you get to the bottom of this book with them, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my full A licence (starting from scratch with my CBT) with the team at 1st Gear. What a brilliant bunch of people: fantastic, friendly customer service and organisation from Michelle; genuine care, huge enthusiasm and interest in the trainees’ goals from Andy and expert tuition (and some great stories!) from Stefan, Jacko and Dave. The equipment used and training site are also excellent, with loads of space to practice. I felt confident that they wanted to make me a proficient rider and not just get me through the tests and that improved my approach to riding dramatically. Every day I was there, former students were dropping in for a catch up with the guys who had trained them, which I think demonstrates the holistic approach that the team have developed. I’ll be staying in touch for sure. Don’t go anywhere else if you’re thinking of getting your motorcycle licence.
