Fantastic experience: Amazing instructor. Super patient & calm. So dedicated to his students & helping them anyway he can. Made it all so simple and easy and genuinely all round nice guy. Sent me so many helpful pictures of roundabouts and tip sheets. Nothing was to much trouble and he went above and beyond to help me pass first time with just one fault

Fantastic experience: Very good instructor, really good at teaching beginners like me. The lessons were planned and progress recorded using an app which was efficient. My wife and I both took lessons and both passed on our first tests.

Fantastic experience: I found Ian on fb people, praise him a lot and never heard any bad comments about him and how excellent an instructor he is. I only had 11.5 hours booked to do my lessons once every 2 weeks the rest my husband thought of me. But with Ian the technicality and knowledge he can offer helped me so much to pass my very first driving test with ZERO faults.

Fantastic experience: I started taking lessons from Ian from Dec 2023 and I just passed yesterday 22 April 2024. Ian has been the best instructor by far he made me feel comfortable by understanding the style of my driving and helped me improve the way that was best for me. He understood my weak points on the road and helped me work to improve them to the best of my ability. I passed on my first try if that doesn’t come to show how amazing he is at his job then I’m not sure what else I could say. I highly recommend Ian as he is the best!

Negative experience: Just witnessed an instructor in one of the cars marked with Ian's learner board speeding, not using indictors when changing lanes, staying in an outside lane when an inner lane was available, and driving too close to a car in front. I wouldn't expect a driving instructor to exhibit driving behaviour like this. Potential students beware.

Fantastic experience: I've been driving for ten years outside the UK. It was not easy at all to find an instructor that does not automatically deals with me as a college kid. Ian helped me "unlearn" and then learn UK traffic laws. He is intelligent and calm. Don't look any further.

Fantastic experience: Ian changed my life. His calm and reassuring nature was exactly what I needed to pass my driving test, and he knew how desperate I was to get through it! Having gone through 5/6 other instructors before meeting Ian, I had lost a substantial amount of hope. I honestly can’t recommend Ian enough.

Fantastic experience: "great if you are a shift worker" I started driving late, 33 and found it very difficult with my first instructor. I was told Ian was the man to see, so feeling a bit like I was never going to get this driving thing I got in the car with Ian and he said let's drive and see what you know. Within 10 minutes of driving Ian asked "why haven't you put in for my test." That comment put my confidence way up, that night I was buying a car and booking a test. Unfortunately I had to wait a year for the test and spent the next year once a week or so going out with Ian learning more and more each time. Honestly you would be silly to not have Ian as your instruction. Very flexible with lessons, great if you are a shift worker. Highly recommend. Thanks Ian.

Fantastic experience: Ian was great in making sure I was comfortable and ready to pass my test. He also made sure to accomodate my work schedule. Having had my license in the US for over 8 years, I recognized there were some bad habits I needed to correct and some insecurities I had transitioning over to the UK. Ian made sure I knew exactly what was required of me to pass my test and I passed it on the first try with no faults.
