His teaching style is easy to follow and encouraging, extremely important for driving a larger vehicle. Fantastic experience: This chap is utterly brilliant. There are titans in the world of literature like Shakespeare or Larkin, those who re write the world of science and whose souls burn brightly like Galileo. In the world of C1 vehicle driver training we also have such a figure, I give you Sir Nick Martin. I was astounded by his fabulous professionalism and attention to detail. He is a kind and honest instructor who really cares about his job and whose spirit is beautifully balanced. When I passed I could see him grinning from ear to ear at the inevitable (because of Nick) pass result. His satisfaction was clearly genuine and he gets a real kick out of being the best he can be and furnishing others with his depth of knowledge. The modern van was well maintained and lovely and clean (he was even polishing up mirrors before my test lol). Before my training with Nick I had tried to train with a nationwide massive driving school, it was a disaster, the van didn’t work properly and I was treated terribly. I’d rather scrape my brain out with a rusty spoon whilst conscious than do training with such a large driving school again. My experience with Nick however has restored my faith in the driving training game. Nick has an outfit that is professional and efficient, it’s just the right size to have clout, but also give you a bespoke experience. It is a credit to him that there are loads of paramedics driving around the south east that have all passed under his supervision, as soon as you mention his name people share the same excellent experience. I’m so pleased I passed! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Definitely go with Nick if you’re looking for a great C1 instructor! He’s got a very nice and supportive way of teaching! Although I already had my C1 licence I hadn’t driven anything in over two years and had a C1 driving assessment for a NQP position coming up. After a few hours with Nick he had me back to driving confidently and safety and I passed with flying colours ❤️ can’t recommend him enough!

Easy going, professional and someone who takes great pride in his vehicle, I wouldn’t have wanted to spend the 10 hours of driver training with anyone else. He was very accommodating with my busy schedule, which meant that I got my C1 license within 4 weeks of inquiring, and only 10 days after my theory test. I couldn’t recommend him more.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend Nick enough, the support given throughout my C1 training and tests were above and beyond. He ensures you are ready for you test by taking you through predicted test routes beforehand and pointing out common mistakes other drivers make. I failed my first test with Nick due to no fault of his, he assured me I was ready and that I’ll have better luck next time and I did! Passed 2nd time
