Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Alun highly enough! I had no driving experience prior to beginning lessons and Aluns’ teachings helped me gain complete confidence on the road. There was always a clear plan for every lesson of what we would be working on so I always felt aware of how much progress I was making towards sitting my test. I felt completely at ease during every lesson as Alun was patient and supportive which allowed me to learn so much easier! Going into my test I felt incredibly well-prepared, Alun worked around my availability and made time to see me more frequently in the weeks leading up to my test which really built my confidence. I then passed my driving test first time which I owe all to Alun.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend a better instructor in Aberdeen. Alun always put me at ease and made me feel comfortable for being a nervous learner. I think the way Alun structures lessons is great and I always felt that I had a clear plan for each lesson and what I should be doing. He’s also great with communication for lessons and for tests too. He always tried to fit me in even when it was difficult to get a time I was available. Couldn’t faulty experience with him whatsoever, managed a few laughs from his jokes too :)

He is very flexible and considerate and isn't afraid to lighten the mood with his jokes, which seemingly get worse and worse to give you more incentive to pass. Fantastic experience: Due to moving cities multiple times I had a turbulent time with driving lessons, but when I moved to Aberdeen a close friend reccommended Alun to me. Alun is an absolutely brilliant instructor - he was patient and worked hard to explain things to me in a way that I would understand which I really appreciated. He used a tablet to virtually demonstrate the maneouvres first before trying them out with me, which I found immensely helpful, and he also kept track of progress with structured notes taken at the of each lesson and revisited at the beginning of each lesson. It really helped to have my whole driving journey broken down into goals like this that made me fear driving a little less. I ended up passing my driving test first time with only 5 minors - not bad! I passed back in March, and since then I have had to use a car for my job and have been driving around in Glasgow (I moved cities again!) and I actually feel confident on the roads, even doing long drives by myself which when I was a learner felt impossible to do. I was really close to giving up driving up altogether but Alun's gentle encouragement really made me believe that I could do it - annd I guess he was right!

Fantastic experience: Alun was a great driving instructor. I had lessons with Alun a few years ago as well as recently and Alun tailors the lessons to suit your individual needs. To begin with in my first set of lessons it was just learning all of the basics and practicing where as this set of lessons was about building confidence and working on the smaller details. Ever lesson in planned out in detail to suit the lessons goals. If there is something specific you do not feel confident in Alun will take the time until you do feel confident. We must have spend 3 to 4 lessons just focusing on roundabouts! Alun is calm and patient and if you are unsure or panic a little Alun will calmly talk you through it and then explain the correct course of action for the next time. I cannot recommend Learner 2 Licence and Alun enough and I am extremely grateful for all Alun has taught me. His jokes are also pretty funny!

Fantastic experience: My mum was recommended Learner 2 Licence by one of her friend's daughter and booked lessons for my birthday. Before driving with Alun I had never sat in a driving seat and I was quite nervous, but Alun made me feel very calm and at ease. He is reliable, friendly and funny. Week after week my confidence grew and I have just recently passed my practical test first time with only one minor.
