Fantastic experience: I have throughly enjoyed learning to drive and couldn’t recommend Fraser enough for anyone looking to learn to drive. He planned out lessons well to meet my needs and managed to correct out all my errors or concerns quickly and efficiently leading to strong progress. Not only this but he also advised in directions for personal practice or research on how to deal with different road situations. Managed to pass my test first time with high confidence within 4 months thanks to Frasers commitment to efficiently and effectively teaching how to drive in a test and real world environment.

Fantastic experience: After years of getting around on my bike, I finally started learning to drive at 40, and recently passed my test at the second attempt. It must have been a different experience for Fraser and not just me, to teach an older learner with a lot of experience/intuition from cycling (both a good and a bad thing for driving). Luckily Fraser doesn't have one rigid style, but is really good at adapting to the needs of his learners - no doubt from all his years of experience teaching, first in a school and now as a driving instructor. He was really good at spotting areas for improvement and planning lessons to fit those needs. He's also just a really nice, cheerful, calm person - so I'd wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone learning to drive, whatever their age.

Fantastic experience: Fraser really helped me gain confidence in my driving. He aided me in working out all the flaws in my driving without losing his patience at all. He is very friendly and gave me useful advice to getting through the driving test nerves. Each lesson was extremely well structured and allowed me to make great advances lesson-to-lesson. Fantastic experience: I passed my test with only one minor. Fraser was amazing at building my confidence while driving and ensured that I was ready to take my test. Fantastic experience: Fraser was perfect. He's very professional and I enjoyed every minute of being taught by him because he is so friendly, kind and caring. Fantastic experience: Fraser is certainly the man to go to if you are thinking about learning to drive and there would definitely be 6 stars here if possible. It is such a relaxed environment with Fraser and that's what made learning to drive how it should be: fun! The lessons are never done in search of money and always at a time which suits you, working around either school or work patterns. Fraser's outstanding knowledge and superb tuition helped me to achieve 0 faults in my test and an overwhelming sense of joy when venturing out onto the road alone for the first time. Fantastic experience: After failing two driving tests over 20 years ago and really wanting to try again, Fraser was recommended to me by a work colleague. Fantastic experience: Fraser is a brilliant driving instructor. I had five different instructors before him, some good and some not-so-much, but I never managed to feel comfortable and competent when driving. Having always been extremely nervous behind the wheel, I took about four exams in less than six months and I failed all of them. That really knocked my confidence even further, despite being told I can drive and despite the numerous hours (70-80) of practice. Having taken me a total of over two years of learning, Fraser was my sixth and final instructor that managed to concise all the knowledge in my head in just over two months. He did this in the following way: Value for money Fraser charges fairly. He will not sell you the idea that ‘you get more if you pay more’. His rates are consistent and average with other instructors’ rates, but he will not waste your time (and your money) sitting you on the side of the road and talking for lengthy periods of time. Helpful tools Occasionally, Fraser will provide links to video material that complement your lessons. I only watched two or three of those but I found them extremely helpful! This is because these tools were shared with me at a time Fraser knew these will be useful. In comparison, previously I used to watch hours of driving tuition tutorials online and none of that helped. Commitment and accountability Fraser outlines boundaries for the lessons right from the first time he meets you. Commitment and accountability is expected both ways. For example, he took money off a lesson once as he was late due to traffic. Similarly, I was late once and I still paid the full price for my lesson, which is totally fair. Structure Fraser plans and discusses each lesson with you. He keeps a log of each and every lesson, but his methods are not rigid. He is flexible enough and offers guidance each time, encouraging you to participate in the planning and making decisions. Despite not knowing what is best for me, I felt this was quite empowering and I was able to eventually say what I wanted to practice on or what I didn’t understand. Feedback All of the feedback I received from Fraser was something I was looking forward to. Whilst historically I felt anxious during lessons, due to feeling the instructor’s frustration with me or being overly critical, Fraser offers fair and realistic feedback about improving your skills. Professionalism I am not comfortable sitting next to strangers, in a car or elsewhere. Fraser conducts himself in a very professional yet relaxed manner, so I felt at ease and comfortable myself. Advice for the future After I passed my test, Fraser provided me with leaflets and information on insurance, places in the city I can get my car checked and other helpful advice. In summary, I passed my test first time with him with only two minors. The first time I got in my own car, four days after I passed my test, I had two adults and a small child at the back. Confidence much?

Fantastic experience: Fraser is the man to get you through your driving test being a beginner or like myself coming back to driving after a few years. I was recommended Fraser by my great aunt who had refresher lessons. I have never felt so praised, confident and relaxed by a driving instructor before. He plays with your strengths getting to know you and the way you work as a individual. Not once was there a negative vibe.
