5DAY Eastcote West London Intensive Driving Courses

Fantastic experience: Good practical and theory preparation helped with being test ready for both, and they were efficiently booked through the course. Great guidance and support throughout. They helped me move my practical test to a more convenient time and really helped me leading up to it, I managed to pass it first time and feel like it was worth it.

Fantastic experience: I was really nervous and had zero confidence coming in to driving but both Anna and Mark really game me a HUGE boost of confidence they’re understanding and don’t make you feel intimidated if you make any mistakes 100% would recommend

Negative experience: Bad experience with 5Day - did the classic 5 day course which is not cheap by any means, £1500 - of which 20 hours is of driving practice. Let's say a driving instructor charges £30 an hour that leaves £900 for 5Day to teach a very little bit of theory + fees. Very steep. After that, and yes it was post-Covid and so everything up in the air, 5Day did not find a test for months and months - I think it was 8 months by the time I took one. Not saying 5Day are responsible for the terrible organisation of the DVSA, but i think the entire advertising premise of the company is they get you a test faster than you could alone, but that seems like rubbish. The only plus was the instructor - incredibly kind, patient and knowledgeable man who made learning to drive a pleasure. But, all in all, a very expensive course, which doesn't deliver on promises. You're better off finding a good instructor, getting those hours under your belt, and then finding your own test.

Negative experience: My son turns up for course in Eastcote today, having taken a week off of work, told he’s not on the list. Payments have been made via info given by @5day.co.uk, proof emailed, paper trail of emails, customer service only interested money, no apology! They are now saying it’s a Worldpay issue - bank has shown that payment has been sent and received. Customer services not interested in resolving situation. Buck passing! And now turned off commenting on the Facebook page and deleting comments about his issue. Charlatans?? My son is now £1000+ down, he’s lost a days pay and company has no interest in helping. Completely unacceptable!

Negative experience: I was very disappointed with this course and unfortunately felt that my money was wasted doing my lessons with 5 day. I found that its extremely over priced and the practical side of the course is massively rushed. Some people may even need more that 20hrs to get to the DVLA driving standard, which you’ll have to pay extra for if you don’t achieve that by the end of the week. If you’re booking this course during COVID times be careful as they CANNOT guarantee you a quick test date! It was 3 months after I’d finished my course with 5 day before they’d managed to find me a test date which in that time my driving skills had become a little rusty, but I was told before I left the course by Mark him self that “you don’t forget to learn how to drive” which is true.... but that doesn’t mean you’ll still be at a standard which will allow you to pass. One bit of advice. If you’re looking to pass you test don’t rush it! Take two weeks to do a 20/30 hour course with a private instructor. You’ll honestly save yourself £300/400 and get more hours in the car. The way how 5 days gets you your test date quicker is they find cancelled driving tests online. There are companies online in which you can pay £30/40 to find a cancelled driving test and then give that date to you, which will be cheaper than 5 days. If you’re still looking to do your lessons with 5 days make sure you ask for Mick as he’s probably the best instructor there! But honestly save your money and go to a local instructor. Hope this review helps.

Fantastic experience: If it wasn't for the persistence of Mark and Mike from Eastcotes 5Days, i would still be using a mixture of public transport and my old motorbike. Since passing with 5Days, my life has opened up!!! My mum lives very far away and even further if you're not driving a car so from the bottom of my heart, i couldn't appreciate you guy's anymore. From Clear and easily digested advice like Mike's famous " blocker " technique for round abouts which i use everyday...to Marks unwavered dedication to making SURE you got the point of the question/road signs/laws is unparalleled by any other company offering similar experiences. I would recommend specifically Eastcote 5Days to ANYONE and i wouldn't even wish new customers luck, you won't need luck with these guy's.

Negative experience: Waste of money. No guaranteed pass. If you are not ready to take the test after the 20hr of driving lessons then you will have to pay for further lessons yourself. My whole class had to go onto pay for further private lessons. I am having to pay another £150 for lessons to be properly ready for my practical test. They failed to book the theory test within 2 weeks of the start of the course and it looks like I am going to have to wait another month to get my practical test. Overall, they do not give you enough hours driving. You will not be driving within 2 weeks of starting the course. It is a complete waste of your money. Instead of wasting your money on this course, I recommend booking 30hrs driving over the course of two weeks (cost around £700), practising for your theory by downloading a theory app (£5 for the one they use on the course). In total you will have saved around £400 and you will have received 10hours more driving.

Positive experience: I have no complaints for the theory side of this course - I passed with flying colours with no prior experience, and the teaching was delivered to a high standard with the right amount of self practice. However, I was very disappointed with the practical element. Looking back, I should've had some previous experience before starting the course, but 5Day does advertise that it works from beginners-. My driving instructor (Kevin) was extremely inpatient and rude. He was a decent person as a whole, very friendly in casual conversation. However, as an instructor, I would not recommend him. I know it's not just me that felt this way, as when I researched him he had very bad reviews from other learners (not on the 5day course). I don't really understand why such an expensive, high quality course would employ subpar driving instructors. The instructor fuelled my fear of driving, rather than helping me to overcome it. My feedback could be different if I were given a different instructor - the structure of the course worked and, as previously mentioned, I passed the theory. To anyone considering this course, I'd recommend having some past experience, and give my good luck to you if you get given Kevin, especially if you're a beginner. Also, I feel the corrective lessons need some further explanation. They are not until you feel ready for your next test after failing one, but only for what you failed your test for. So, if you had a major that you'd never do again, you would only get one lesson - even if the instructor believes you need many more hours driving before your next test. If I were rating the instructor, it would be as low as possible. But rating the company, I do believe there are many positive aspects.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant experience, especially considering I didn't have much driving experience, it help me understand more about safety and awareness while on the roads not just as a driver but as a predestrain and has also made me feel very confident in myself as a driver and never did I think I would have come this far in such a short period of time. Thanks to the team at 5days Eastcote I cant have asked for a better experience.

There is a lot to fit in within 5 days but with the way the days are set out you learn so much not just the driving but with the theory lessons with Mark as well. Fantastic experience: Brilliant week, really helpful and knowledgeable staff who work really hard to help all week. the course overall is very intense and hard work but really worth it if you put the effort in, the theory lessons are very well structured around both learning and practice for the test and especially the hazard perception. the on the road instruction is of a very high level and took me from never having driven on the road to ready for my test in 5 days, and passing the theory by Thursday. i cant recommend more, Mark and Mick were great!

Although I need a few more hours on the road either privately or with Habib to get me test ready I'm very happy with my progress considering I was a complete beginner on Monday :).

Fantastic experience: Had a great time training this week. Mark in the main classroom was very informative and so helpful with any questions and explained things in the right amount of detail. My driving instructor was Roger who put me at ease right away and helped me progress with my driving fairly quickly. He helped build up my confidence from the start and got me to a good enough standard to book in for my test!

From a very unprepared situation, Mark gave very clear guidance and teaching for you to easily pass your theory. I had Roger as an instructor during the week and he was incredible at tailoring the time we had to put me in the best position possible for me to take on my test next week. Look no further for guidance if you are looking for a intensive driving course.

Fantastic experience: At the start of the week I had 0 driving experience, I have now had 20hrs experience on the road! I feel a lot more confident than I did at the beginning not to mention the fact that I've just past my theory test (they book for you) first time round thanks to the theory lessons/ homework they offer here at 5 day. Now all I need is a few more lessons to get me ready for the practical test that I will book when I'm ready. Great course! Would defo recommend. Lastly shout out to Mark he's been a great teacher !!

Fantastic experience: Best way to learn to learn how to drive. The course is very well organised and balanced between theory and practical driving. A highly recommended instructor is Roger Hill. Throughout the 5 days he comfortably pushed me so that I learning a lot about the control of the car in different situations having a fun experience learning how to drive.

Both the practical and the theoretical instruction were high class an enabled me to learn to drive quickly, safely and cost-effectively. Fantastic experience: I learnt a huge amount on this course. The driving instructor was brilliant, it was so clear that he had had lots of experience and was very knowledgeable. His short briefs throughout the lesson and use of diagrams were very useful in aiding my understanding. The theory training and practice using the software was great preparation for the test. Mark was very encouraging and the other pupils were sound so it made for a pleasant environment.
