Fantastic experience: It has been an amazing experience having Vladimir as my driving instructor. He is a very dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who is happy to explain the rules and clear our doubts as many times as required to assure that we understand the concepts rightly. He is a calm and approachable person and always gives constructive feedback. I wasn’t afraid to make mistakes, as he kept his cool and was keen to help me understand why I made the mistake. He used to write down the portions we covered and mistakes made so that those areas could be covered in the forthcoming sessions. More than from just exam point of view, he made sure I was a safe and confident driver in the long run. There is no better person I can recommend than Vladimir if you are planning to learn driving. Negative experience: This “instructor” smashed my friends windscreen in a state of road rage. Far from the calm attitude you need from a driving instructor. AVOID

Fantastic experience: Had 1 weekly 2-hour lessons with Vladimir since April 2023 - and clocked in around 20-30 hours of lessons (even had a 4-week lay off where I was rusty after the first lesson back). However, the second lesson back, I was able to drive well again thanks to his constructive feedback which brought aspects of safe driving back into my awareness! Overall, Vlad is very clear and straightforward when it comes to teaching you how to be a safe driver. Whenever I made mistakes, he noticed them all and wrote it down to provide me feedback for when I next stopped the car. And he always gives me feedback to take home and prove to improve for the next lesson. He has a great sense of humour and has always made my driving lessons enjoyable! Most importantly, he cares about you driving safely! If you are looking for a driving school which will go the extra mile to teach, guide and support you… I highly recommend booking in to have lessons with Vlad at 1st Mile Automatic ASAP! :) He will teach you EVERYTHING to be a safe driver. After my last teacher failed his own DVSA exam, I started desperately looking for a new instructor. I would like to tell anyone who sees driving as a nightmare like me, that you are in the right place right now. Vladimir was the best instructor I've ever seen. He taught me how important it is to fully understand the rules and signs. Now even without navigation I can drive confidently just by following the signs and rules . Negative experience: i can sense this guy has an attitude. the way he communicate with me in a phone. I know it’s marketing strategy to say that both manual and automatic has same level of difficulty. Its like saying indirectly you can go to other driving instructor. Instead of encouragement for a person who’s thinking budget wisely.

Fantastic experience: I changed 3 instructors for the exam. I have worked with the best. my dear instructor teaches really well. It's a tough training but really the best. Thanks to him, I succeeded in my exam. It is multi-disciplinary, and supports theoretical knowledge and practical application during education. If you want to pass the driver's license exam, you should definitely take lessons from him.

Fantastic experience: After learning on and off for years I finally found the perfect instructor for me. Vladimir is kind and laid back and makes learning to drive feel really achievable. I passed first time with him and learnt so much that I hadn't before with other instructors. I was a nervous driver but he made the whole experience feel very manageable. Fantastic experience: Vlad is an amazing driving instructor – look no further! This being my second time learning to drive (a decade after my first attempt!), I can really speak to how much more effective learning with Vlad was. He's really clear on what you need to improve and reach test standard, as well as to be a good driver ongoing, and designs lessons to target those areas of improvement. Vlad is also an incredibly calm and kind instructor with a great sense of humour – really puts you at ease and makes lessons enjoyable! I did intensive lessons with Vlad and went from a very shaky recollection of how to drive to passing with only two minors in only a couple of weeks. More importantly, I feel safe and comfortable on the road – a few weeks later I was able to drive around Ireland running errands for my grandma. I'd recommend Vlad to anyone.

Negative experience: Ridiculous attitude, proceeded to follow me home and tried to say I pulled out on him twhen I didn’t so asked him to prove it on his camera -he wouldn’t -then starts swearing etc then backs off when he realises he’s bitten off more than he can chew -very unprofessional and if that’s how he acts I wouldn’t want him as an instructor for me or my family or friends

Fantastic experience: Vladmir has been tremendously helpful and I would highly recommend him as a driving teacher. I would not have been able to pass without him, he is incredibly kind and patient, there is no doubt in my mind anyone who was to learn with Vladmir would feel comfortable and supported throughout their lessons and test prep.

Negative experience: This guy is dangerous. He suffered from anger issues and intentionally cuts people up and shouts and swears aggressively at other drivers. So not trust this guy. I reported his behaviour to the police

Fantastic experience: Vladimir is an amazing driving instructor and I passed 1st time with only 3 minors! I’ve always suffered from nerves and I had some lessons when I was in my teens, I failed my test from nerves and it put me off big time! I’d never gone back to it and I’d hit my 30’s before even considering it again. I had more lessons but didn’t really feel like it was for me (or the nerves about it all just resurfaced) I gave up on it again and resigned myself to the fact I’d never be a driver...I’m just not built for it. I’d hit 33 when my sister suggested having a go in her automatic and that was the turning point, it’s so much easier and so much less for my nervous mind to have to focus on. She got me in touch with Vladimir and I started my lessons the very next week. He was so kind, calm, reassuring and made me realise I’d built the whole thing up in my head so much that I was the only one stopping me! would you believe that after only 5 lessons I was test ready!? he even helped me organise an earlier test than I had managed to book so I didn’t lose momentum. he kept me calm and collected on the day and I PASSED!!! I never thought I’d be here, I got my car that same week and so quickly my confidence skyrocketed. I’m not afraid to drive anywhere and it’s already like second nature! I was sad in a way for my lessons to be over as I enjoyed them so much and I miss Vladimir. I’ll always be grateful to him and if I could recommend anyone for lessons it would be him! I hope he’s still around when the time comes for my children! X
