Fantastic experience: Passed at West Wickham today! Jerry is honestly a superb instructor and he always made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel. He's incredibly patient and knows how and when to encourage you, whilst also being very specific and rigorous with his teaching, ensuring you're absolutely test ready. He plans and uses lesson time really effectively, so you really feel like you're getting great value. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Speed right, everything right! Fantastic experience: Jerry has been an absolute god send for my daughter. She started learning a few years back on and off with some terrible instructors that fully knocked her confidence and interest in driving. Fantastic experience: I PASSSSSSSSSED!! Oh my goodness I am so so grateful for Jerry. I have had such a long journey with over 5 instructors and even being away for some time, I came back. I really really thank God for Jerry. He has really used him to install self-confidence in me. I was sooooo convinced that I was literally never going to get my license (no joke) and it wasn’t because I was a bad driver, but it was that other voice in my head that would make me focus on NOT making a mistake, but then I’d make more mistakes. Top tip: Go with an experienced instructor because they will really show you roads, routes and even give you tips, that you wouldn’t think are useful or effective at the time, but come test day, your driving roads you have done a million times! Oh goodness. Thank you so so much Jerry. I can’t express how happy I am to finally have passed and to have passed with the best instructor. He is really patient even you make really silly mistakes . If there is something he didn’t plan to go through with you but you want to go through, he will go through it and ask “do you want to do it again or are you okay”, and YES it’s okay to say I want to do it again :). I know this review is so long but honestly it just shows how great of an instructor Jerry is.

Fantastic experience: Jerry is a great instructor – he manages to be both really hard working and thorough with his teaching but also a genuinely lovely friendly guy whose easy to get on with as well. He’s straightforward with his communications too: ‘you’re doing this right’, ‘you’re doing this wrong’, ‘this was your fault’ ‘this was their fault’ – which I really appreciated. He’s got a wealth of driving experience – including ‘the knowledge’ and has a sixth sense for the roads and the traffic. He also knows the West Wickham test routes like the back of his hand! We did lots of mock tests too – which definitely helped me know what to expect for the day and took the edge off the nerves a little. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone learning to drive! He has been instructing my daughter who had lost confidence driving with another school and now she is learning faster, has become more confident and is actually enjoying the lessons. She feels really relaxed learning with Jerry and always come home in a positive mood. Fantastic experience: It would be stupid for me not to say Jerry is the reason I passed the practical test on my first attempt. I started my driving with him, went to uni, had three instructors who couldn't compare, came back and finished it with him. I can say from my experience learning with other teachers, knowone was as helpful or reassuring as Jerry. He is one of the easiest people to talk to and learn from as a new driver.

Fantastic experience: I wouldn’t have passed my driving exam if it wasn’t for Jerry and I couldn’y reccomend him enough! After driving nearly 15 years in the USA and recently moving to the UK, I was keen to get back behind the wheel and learn how to drive manual and on the left side of the road. Jerry was the perfect instructor and a true professional through and through. He explained everything in an easy to understand way and always listened attentively to questions. Through every lesson he was always fully present, analyzing and helping me to learn to be a better driver. I never felt pushed to do anything I didn’t feel comfortable with, but also wasn’t allowed to sit in my safety zone where I couldn’t learn and grow. He is undertstanding, an excellent communicator, punctual, organized and most of all a lovely person and an excellent driving instuctor. Jerry really cares about his students and their success. So if you are looking learn to drive for the first time, to learn a whole new driving system or just want to brush up on your road skills, Jerry’s the man for the jonb!

Fantastic experience: Jerry taught me to drive from November 2017 and I have just passed my test first time (July 2018). He is a great teacher; he always explains things well and will make sure you know how to improve. He is also a very friendly guy which made lessons enjoyable. Even with his friendly nature, he manages to balance the friendliness with professionalism. Overall, I would highly recommend Jerry as a driving instructor.

Felt very comfortable driving with him. He has been very patient and explained everything clearly and he was always punctual. Fantastic experience: Just passed my test today and it's all thanks to Jerry. Top man and a gent. I had been learning to drive on and off for a few years now but when Jerry took me on, I passed within about 10 weeks. He is one of the few driving schools who sees you as a person wanting to pass the test rather than some companies who see you more as a source of income. I had a great time with Jerry and o highly recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Jerry is a great instructor who makes you feel comfortable whilst learning to drive. Lessons are varied with Jerry teaching you the basics of driving as well conducting mock tests to fully prepare you for the test. A great instructor who I would recommend to use if you are looking to obtain your driving license.

Fantastic experience: Jerry is one awesome driving instructor. Besides his witty and at times funny jokes, I had a blast with him in the car to one of my first journeys of life. His lessons were dynamic and enjoyable as he tailored them to my needs without having a boring timetabled routine. Although enjoyable they were also constructive and developed my skill levels behind the wheel. I don't think I would be able to recommend another driving instructor with these qualities besides jerry. So if you want a great skilled instructor with a bit of banter than Jerry is your guy. Fantastic experience: Jerry taught me how to drive nearly two years ago, through a recommendation from my older brother. Without him, I would be nowhere near as comfortable behind the wheel, and would certainly have not achieved only one minor on my driving test with any other instructor. Being a small business, Jerry is able to deliver a personal; yet still highly professional service. From the beginning, I could tell that Jerry had my best interests in mind, and was 100% honest about how ready he felt I was for my test. I always have, and always will recommend his services to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: I am a new mum who hasn't driven for five years, and I wanted some refresher lessons before I started driving the baby around. Jerry was very calm, kind and reassuring, and I felt confident enough after just a few lessons. He made an effort to fit me in at convenient times, and was a lovely guy.

Fantastic experience: Jerry is a fantastic teacher as well as a genuinely nice guy. I would recommend him to any of my friends in a heartbeat. His approach is the one needed to pass a test, teaching you test routes and easy ways to do the so called 'hard bits' in the manoeuvres. As well as always reminding you he is on the other end of the phone if you ever need any help. He adapted to my learning pace, he was flexible with lesson times, was always there 5 minutes before the lesson started, didn't rush or slow me down during lessons and made me feel totally comfortable in the car at all times. He also didn't get annoyed with any errors, even if they where ones I simply shouldn't make and ones which some other teachers would find frustrating, instead telling me what I did wrong and making a joke of it, but I then remembered the mistake and didn't repeat it. He then lead me to passing my test 1st time comfortably with 2 minors. As well as a teacher he is always happy, and up for a laugh making him a good friend throughout the whole process, which was then epitomised by the fact that he posted me a card when I passed, really nice personal touch. If you can get a slot with this guy I couldn't recommend him more, as well as getting a license you will get a great new friend!

He is incredibly easy to get along with and create a fun and relaxed atmosphere while learning but still remains professional. Fantastic experience: Top Driving instructor 5*. As an 'older' driver Jerry's approach to teaching was ideal helping me to pass 1st time. He taught with calm and confidence that easily transferred into my driving style. Every driving lesson encompassed routes used in actual driving tests which meant when it came to my test I was prepared for most if not all eventualities. Thank you Jerry, I can not recommend you enough.

Fantastic experience: Jerry is such a lovely teacher, really flexible with the times for teaching too which is especially helpful for if you have a job/ are in college. For each lesson he sets realistic targets and will give honest opinions on your driving because he genuinely isn't out there to make money. He taught two of my sisters and another family friend and 3/4 of us passed 1st time because he doesn't rush you if he thinks you need more time. For people whose parent's are paying for their lessons he will keep them regularly updated with progress of your driving. HUGE thank you Jerry, quite sad to have passed now! Fantastic experience: Jerry is an outstanding instructor who really prepares you for the UK Practical Driving Test. I have driven extensively in the USA as a licensed driver for over 48 years and needed the education and training to pass the UK Driving license requirements because I am here for over two years. He explains and demonstrates the driving skills very clearly and effectively. He is very patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I would recommend him as an instructor for anyone who is a new or long time driver who needs this instruction.

Fantastic experience: Jerry is an amazing instructor. A colleague of mine advised me about Jerry, having her partner and herself passed their tests comfortably with his training. This is what I was told about him and I can vouch it is all so true... Jerry understands the natural abilities of a person and trains based on them; instead of just rubbing his techniques on to the pupil. This makes his training unique and easy to grasp. His nice and jovial nature makes it much easier to learn taking off pressure from a new driver.
