His fun personality combined with useful, constructive criticism helped me to feel comfortable and confident in both my lessons and going into my test. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an instructor that will make driving feel easy, especially if you like singing

Fantastic experience: Neil was an amazing instructor! I passed first time with little lessons. I cannot recommend him enough! As someone who feels very nervous with new people Neil made me feel comfortable and safe. The amount i’ve learnt in such a short space of time is phenomenal and I can’t thank him enough. I am always recommending him to my family and friends, I’m convinced there’s nobody better out there!

Fantastic experience: Neil is an absolutely amazing driving instructor. I passed first time with 2 minor faults, and his approach meant I was fully equipped to deal with the test and any difficulties the test poses. I had some experience of driving prior to having lessons with Neil and I was initially hesitant to take the car out of second gear and drop gears. Although some delightful singing soon changed that! His attention to detail is quite frightening and although you may feel he is being tough, it is all for your benefit and if you take his advice on board you will get there. Equally, his enthusiasm for doing things well is unmatched and this approach gave me the confidence and belief that I can drive and that I can pass. I would highly recommend Neil if you want progress in your driving and confidence in your abilities. Ps would not recommend if you are an Australian!

Fantastic experience: Even if I filled my lungs with helium I still wouldn’t be able to speak highly enough of Neil and his style of teaching. With Neil’s help he’s allowed me to overcome my fear of driving with his patience and encouragement, with plenty of jokes sprinkled in too, and not to mention the beautiful singing (you can tell he’s classically trained). I’ve always been apprehensive about driving, 2 or 3 years ago I wouldn’t have even considered learning, but Neil put me at ease right away and made it seem easy, and on my 2nd attempt I passed my test. Being able to drive has given me a major confidence boost and I can’t thank Neil enough for his help and trust.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant instructor! Neil has the patience of a saint, especially if something doesn’t click. He has about 100 different ways of teaching so there’s always one to suit the pupil. He managed to get me test ready when I had a test cancellation and was able to pass with one minor fault. He points out where the DVSA would give you faults and fails and explains the repercussions. He gives advice on managing nerves and builds confidence at the wheel, with anecdotes to back up parts of the learning process and gracious singing to reinforce habits. Thanks Neil!

Fantastic experience: What can I say! Neil is brilliant driving instructor, I passed today with only 3 minor faults. His calm attitude made it very easy for me to learn from him and I couldn't recommend a better man for the job! If your looking to get yourself passed then this is your guy. Last but definitely not least his singing and joke telling skills are far superior to his teaching to drive so get ready for lots of laughs and a great singing experience! Fantastic experience: I passed with Neil today! Initially, I was a very nervous and hesitant driver, but Neil targeted the stress and 'brain mush' that got in the way of my driving. He was so patient, and I always felt safe. What sets him apart is that he doesn't just teach you to pass the test, he teaches you the skills to be a safe and confident driver. He knows just when to push you and, when he isn't singing, always has an 'evil plan' to help you progress. It's just a shame the album isn't on sale!!

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend Neil as an instructor. Neil is a very personable instructor who always wants the best for his students. Neil being in the car always filled me with confidence because I knew if I made a mistake (it happened often) Neil wouldn't let anything happen which was a worry of mine before I started lessons. Neil is a very patient instructor who helped me overcome persisting issues with distancing, due to this help I passed my test with 0 major and minor faults. I'm certain this wouldn't have been possible with another instructor. Thank you Neil.

Fantastic experience: First things first, Neil is the best and I would recommend him to anyone. I passed my test today, I've been learning with Neil from the beginning and I dont think I would have passed as quickly with another instructor. From day one he gave me confidence in myself and whenever there was something that wasn't clicking for me, Neil would identify my issue very quickly and help me understand. He pushed me to get better every lesson, I felt like I was learning something new all the time. I can't thank him enough for his advice, his knowledge, his 100% reliability and... his singing! I think I will miss the singing, it strangely helps calm the nerves, even if it's slightly off Key! I feel very lucky to have had Neil as my driving instructor, he's an absolute legend, the best.

Fantastic experience: What can I say about Neil... His singing is an acquired taste and as for his jokes... best he sticks to the day job. But as a driving instructor he is fantastic. Neil is my third instructor and I have just passed on my 4th test attempt but my first attempt with Neil. My only regret is not starting out with Neil earlier. If you're just starting out on your path to a full pink license trust me your choice of instructor is so important. The way Neil identified my weaknesses built up my skills and most importantly helped me get over the psychological battle is something neither of my previous instructors managed. I cannot recommend him highly enough and I will be forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: Neil was the 1st instructor I came across when looking for my son As soon as I read reviews of neil I knew he was the one my son agreed always came of a lesson happy and enthusiastic for the next one I also went on some lessons with my son and I was well happy with what I saw the way he teaches is so relaxed and in a calm manner and the singing and jokes were a bonus I would highly recommend Neil my son passed first time with one minor thanks to Neil

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I passed my test first time after having lessons with Neil for just under a year. I have had lessons with other instructors before but I have found that Neil’s way of explaining things made stuff really stick. Neil is an amazing driving instructor and had me ready for my test in around 7 months, however it was cancelled due to strikes. So Neil continued to teach me up until my test yesterday. He is an amazing driving instructor who really cares and shows patience, and i’d highly recommend him to everybody. I’d like to thank him for all he has done.

Fantastic experience: Neil is brilliant, when I came to Neil I had been let down by instructors on the back end of Covid who were all fully booked, just teetering on the edge of being able to take test a second time. He took me on with not much time to go and took a lot of time and patience out of his own free time to get me confidence and refreshed for test. Where as before I had lots of nerve Neil made the experience so calm and his techniques were so easy to pick up I felt good keeping to my predetermined test and today that hard work and kindness paid off as i passed! <3

Fantastic experience: I was incredibly lucky to have Neil as my driving instructor after two years of driving being interrupted by lockdowns and moving to university. He has a genuine interest in his students: keeping an eye on their habits, fitting in lessons to work for the student (even if that means lessons on bank holidays or weekends) and genuinely wants them to pass. My story is similar to many our age, I spent the summer after college with another instructor only for lockdowns to get in the way whenever I felt like I was making progress. Then after a year at university and a year of looking for an instructor I found that many did not suit me. Leading to almost a year away from the wheel. However, I came back to Bradford with the intention of sitting a test that summer. Luckily I found Neil who understood my ability and the gaps in my knowledge and was able to fix my errors one at a time. With great patience and a friendly, safe environment. And thanks to him I passed first time! Something that I would have never expected at the start of the summer. Not only did I pass but now I feel confident driving after the exam due to the tips and tricks that were passed onto me by him. I would definitely recommend Neil, you even get the odd sing song in lessons!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test today thanks to Neil. Neil was my 3rd driving instructor and the only instructor I’ve been with who made me feel confident behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: Yesterday I passed my first driving test with 0 faults, and I give Neil most of the credit! Neil is a fantastic driving instructor who genuinely cares about getting you to pass as soon as possible. I've been doing my driving lessons for 4 years on and off, and have been messed about by different instructors so much. In just 3 months with Neil I was taught all of my maneuvers, and was taught to drive to a standard that (unbelievably) allowed me to pass my test with no faults! I cannot recommend Neil enough! Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Neil highly enough , yes you have to deal with his jokes , oh and the ‘singing‘ but you get much more out of a lesson than that . As a ‘mature’ student I never thought the day would come when I pass my test , but that day came on Tuesday . Thanks to Neil’s style of teaching, experience and able to appreciate the nerves when learning to drive all went towards a successful outcome . If you’re looking for lessons, go with Neil you won’t regret it .

Fantastic experience: I have passed my test on my first time because of Neil. (Only having 3 minor faults.) As an introverted 17 year old I have always felt at ease and comfortable with Neil from the very start. He is an amazing driving instructor who is patient and straight forward. He doesn’t waste your time or money; I am the fourth sister he has made pass, and above all will give you his amazing singing and stories. I would recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my test first time. Before I met Neil I had no experience what's so ever with driving he thought me from scratch with his patients and wit. He is a very honest man and will tell you if you drove rubbish. He is funny and loves to sing so you always feel at ease. I am the third sister that has passed with Neil and he is currently teaching another sister of mine. Fantastic experience: came to Neil an unconfident driver. The thought of driving would scare me and make me nervous but after a few lessons with Neil I was gaining so much more confidence on the roads which is something previous instructors could not help me with. Neil was really supportive and helpful and pushed me to do my best and become better and not drive like a “learner”. Having taken my initial lessons in London with some other instructor, I found it scary driving in Bradford especially with high slope roads, sharp corners, 'fast & furious' drivers, space invaders...you name it! Fantastic experience: I had taken lessons previously and failed one test a few years ago...I had finally decided to start lessons again and wanted the best instructor possible. I had friends and family recommend a couple but when I looked online Neil’s stood out by a mile as his reviews were all very very good. I decided to go with Neil and I have to say he’s been absolutely brilliant from day dot. Incredibly patient, knowledgeable and not afraid to crack a joke or 3. So Today I passed my test 2nd timebut 1st time! With Neil with 1minor!.... Although it was my driving, I feel I owe a lot to Neil and I’m sure you will too if you chose and succeed with him. Fantastic experience: I took a motorway confidence lesson with Neil a few months ago and it was very useful. Neil went above and beyond to help me by allowing extra time to also go out in my car and challenging me to take a motorway journey on my own. I wouldn't have done this without his help and encouragement. Neil pick up on some bad habits I have formed as a driver but as I now drive an automatic he had to let me off with the clutch issues! If you are needing help to get out onto the motorway give Neil a call. He also taught me there is no harm in taking your time at complex or unfamiliar junctions !

Fantastic experience: With the help from Neil I passed my test today! I was not very confident when I first got behind the wheel and was a nervous mess but Neil was very calm and understanding and with his learning techniques I became more and more confident during each lesson! I felt Neil took the time to find my weaknesses which was mainly confidence, hesitating and obstructions he always went out of his way to help me deal with these situations by using his different tricks, sayings and techniques. I always enjoyed and looked forward to go on a lesson with him even if it meant I had to listen to his lovely singing! I learned something new each time and was able to have a laugh with him. Thankyou Neil for all your help I couldn't of done it without you!

Fantastic experience: Neil is a very interesting person, he helped put me at ease as I was quite a nervous driver. I failed 3 tests before I came to see him but I passed first time with him as my instructor. He has an excellent sense of humour. Just watch out for his singing voice. His favourite song is "I am in love with my second gear".

Fantastic experience: I passed my test today after only starting in December. I honestly could not have asked for a better teacher. Neil was accomdating for my needs and was happy to work around me as I am still in sixth form so it was sometimes difficult to fit lessons in. He always managed to find ways around what ever it was that I struggled with and would not stop until he found a solution that helped me to conquer the problem. He made me feel comfortable, at ease, he made sure I was never worried/scared when i was driving. I began a nervous driver and now i feel the complete opposite as Neil has instilled the confidence in me. I would 100% reccomend him to anyone, of any age he is absolutely amazing and could not be happier that I chose to do my lessons with him!

Fantastic experience: Neil taught my sister how to drive, and then me. She passed her test first time, as did I, with only 1 minor! I would 10/10 reccommend Neil, he's an excellent instructor, and he knows how to make even the most nervous of drivers confident. He sings like an angel, and has a great sense of humour. Fantastic experience: My name is Ashleigh, i am from Bradford and i took lesson's with Neil. After being messed about in Bradford by other driving schools, prolonging lesson's and teaching bad habbits, i gave Neil a ring. Straight away i was reassured as i was on the boarder lines of his teaching area however he claimed he was up for a challenge. On the first lesson he noticed i was holding gears too much. His solution was the funniest one i have seen as he started singing....yes that's right....singing. haha Even tho this was a strange tactic, it worked as i stopped holding my gears for as long. I also found Neils tactics and techniques worked for other things such as bay parking, reversing around a corner e.t.c however these were not sorted by his singing but following markers on the road to get the accuracy i desired. I passed my test on the 2nd time with 9 minors however the first one that i did fail i had 2 minors against my name. Proving Neil to be one of the best driving instructors in Bradford in my opinion. A genuine person with a lot of passion and care for his job. If you do choose to take lesson's with this instructor, you are very lucky to have such a good instructor by your side and i recommend him to anyone as i wished i had done lessons with him from the start after a few. Thank you for all your help Neil. Couldn't have done it without you.

Fantastic experience: I'd had hours and hours of lessons before I started with Neil, however for all the time and money I'd spent with another instructor I hadn't even done a turn in the road! My second lesson with Neil we were doing maneuvers - Neil is a very genuine instructor, every lesson I learnt something new and within 2 lessons we booked the test to set a goal to work towards. Neil is an extremely caring and knowledgeable instructor, I always felt that I could ask all the questions I needed to no matter how stupid they were and if there was something I couldn't wrap my head around we went over it until I understood. From his terrible jokes to his even more terrible singing, Neil had the ability to lighten the mood and calm me down no matter what situation I faced. I've passed my driving lesson first time today, although I found it nerve wrecking and made mistakes, it went a lot smoother than I imagined - all thanks to Neil. I highly recommend Neil and I will be hopefully seeing Neil again for a motorway course :)

Fantastic experience: I have passed my test with Neil today, I will call it my 1st attempt as it was my only ( and, successfull ) attempt with him being my driving instructor! I’ve had 2 unfortunate tests 4 years ago with another driving instructor and felt very down and stopped trying. I decided to give it another go in August this year and found loads of positive reviews on Neil! Being anxious and hesitant at times I enjoyed every single lesson, he made me feel very comfortable and safe at all times. Neil’s friendly and calm manner together with unique teaching methods will get you to a 100% test standard and ready to drive on your own. He tought me to be aware of what’s around me and not to be scared of using gas pedal (and do a bit of ‘sinning’ ). You will definitely enjoy his singing, better get yourself ready for it, he’s got great voice! Thank you Neil, today the dream of mine came true!I was so happy to see his big smile, i saw how very proud Neil was, it really means a lot to me ( believe me, i cried)! Fantastic experience: I honestly couldn't have asked for a better instructor- I was a nervous wreck when I first started lessons with him but his patience and understanding helped me gain much more confidence. His teaching methods were brilliant and effective, helping me learn quickly, and he was always positive no matter how stupid my mistakes! He also made sure I had a thorough understanding of driving and rules of the road beyond what the test would entail, and I passed my test the other week, first attempt, with only three minors! I'm absolutely thrilled with this result, especially as I has to postpone lessons for months while I went to uni, but Neil was more than happy to pick them up again whenever was convenient. I'm so thankful for all his help, and would definitely recommend lessons with him- fair warning though: his singing, while effective, is quite atrocious.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test today with Neil. I highly recommend him as a driving instructor. He is the most down-to-earth, understanding and caring man I know. He has a really calming aura and makes you feel really comfortable from The beginning. Expect a few outbursts of singing, another one of his talents! Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test and massively benefitted from Neil's teaching. A very good instructor who understands and wants to help you get better as a driver. He's a good guy and would highly recommend him to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: It's been a couple of weeks now since passing my driving test first time after learning with Neil. Neil is the perfect driving instructor. He knows when to push you to your maximum capabilities, and when to slow down back to the basic fundamentals of driving. From the very first lesson, Neil's personality (witty humour, falsetto singing and lovely impressions!) shone through and I knew this was my kind of driving instructor! Every lesson was a building block to test standard, with Neil's techniques constantly imprinted in your memory. Here you have an instructor who loves his job and enjoys nothing more than seeing one of his pupils pass. I can't recommend Neil highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Neil was an absolutely fantastic driving instructor. As an American with 10 years of driving experience in an automatic car... let's just say I needed a lot of practice! Neil is extremely friendly, very easy to talk to, and makes you feel at ease when learning to drive. His jokes and singing actually made me look forward to driving lessons! His patience is exceptional, he helps boost your confidence, and he has lots of tricks and tips about regular driving, maneuvers, and lots of insight about the actual test. If you live anywhere in Bradford, I highly highly recommend you go with Neil! He is definitely the best driving instructor in the area :)

Fantastic experience: Well what can I say, what a top guy, never once did he put me down on my driving. It was always constructive criticism that was stern but friendly at the same time to get the point across. In the end he helped me pass first time with only 4 minors, and at the beginning I thought I would have been taking lessons for years. Thank you Neil for everything, you take care on that bike now and maybe I will go back to my bike in years to come.

Fantastic experience: Getting lessons with Neil was the turning point of my driving "career" - I suffered from an utter lack of self confidence, and unlike other instructors, Neil was the one to give me the confidence and skills I needed. I found learning and remembering manouvres and similar much easier with Neil's methods. He is cheerful and fun to drive with yet pushes you to be better than you thought you could be. Thanks to Neil I've just passed, not my first test but my first test with him teaching me. I couldn't be happier, and in a strange way, I will miss his singing on the roads!!

Fantastic experience: Well what can I say? Don't go with Neil, his singing is terrible. Just kidding! I took driving lessons over 10 years ago and gave up after two failed tests. I decided to have another bash at the ripe young age of 34 and Neil was recommended to me by a friend. Neil is one of those people who you instantly take a liking to and feel completely comfortable with. His approach was different to the driving instructors I had previously encountered and rather than throwing me in at the deep end, he fine tuned my driving ability from the start. He has a good way of explaining things which is just want I needed. He instilled the right level of confidence in me, despite my own lack of confidence. Today I passed my test and I'm over the moon. Neil said this was down to my own ability, but his modesty and kindness are other very likeable traits about Neal. He too should be proud! He knows his work and he is a person you can relay on. I had expericane in driving all over the world even then I had lots to learn from Neil. Fantastic experience: Neil is a lovely guy, and a great instructor. Hence why I passed 1st time. He made me feel safe and made the entire learning process enjoyable. Even when I used to cry because I did something wrong, he still made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend Neil if you want an instructor who makes you laugh uncontrollably and also sings at you in a beautiful (terrible) high pitched tone, whilst also teaching you to drive at a high standard. If anyone is looking to learn to drive, then look no further! Neil was always trying to work around my busy schedule , and always went the extra mile if I needed help with anything. He was always giving me tips and helping me anyway he could. Every single lesson that I had with Neil was always fun. Fantastic experience: I passed my test today with much thanks to Neil. I've had 3 driving instructors in total as I couldn't find someone who was patient enough, enthusiastic enough and flexible enough, but Neil ticked all the boxes! Couldn't recommend him enough, especially to nervous or new drivers. Will miss his singing greatly!:( thanks Neil!!

Fantastic experience: Neil is a brilliant driving instructor: very friendly, helpful, gives detailed feedback of what you've done good/what to improve on and makes the lessons fun with his tips and high-pitch singing (when you forget to change gear)... Even though I had a a lot of long gaps between lessons from being at uni we worked around it and I still passed first time with just 2 minors! Would definitely recommend him as an instructor!

Fantastic experience: Neil is first rate. He took my wife on and gave her tons of confidence. He really empowered her to believe she could pass. As time went by he felt that he was not the best fit for my wife's temperament. This was nothing to do with personality but that he could see she needed an instructor who had a different style to him as that would work better for her. He passed her on to his friend Rab who took her to her test. This showed that Neil cared very deeply about my wife passing. She passed today and he's been on the phone congratulating her and she's utterly thankful to him. We both are. Neil is exceptional. Outstanding. Thoroughly and totally recommended.

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive is a stressful time but can hand on heart say I could not have done it without Neil. I love this man, he is such a supportive but firm instructor. I was lacking in so much confidence and wouldn't get out of 2nd gear for so many lessons. Neil is so patient and and encouraging even though my tears and wanting to give up he supported me and encouraged me to keep going. I can not thank him enough nor praise him enough you need to learn with him to understand. I'm gonna miss the wonderful tuneful singing and will always remember a certain bonnie Tyler song!!

Fantastic experience: When I first began my lessons with Neil, I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Due to Neil's calm and positive teaching technique I quickly got the hang of it and started to believe I could be on the road in no time. He isn't afraid to have a laugh with you but will also insure you fully understand all aspects of driving instead of just simply telling you what to do. Last week I passed my test with only 3 minor faults and I can't thank him enough... P.s. He will sing so I advise you buy some ear plugs... Don't make the same mistake I did.

At the beginning I was a nervous wreck but he was very patient and was really good at explaining things in a way I'd understand. Fantastic experience: What can I say, I've always believed I simply just wasn't one of those people who would have the concentration to be a great driver. I was wrong, Neil's teaching methods, persistence and passion for teaching people how to be a safe and courteous driver of the road has now lead me to passing my test. If you want a funny, witty, very friendly, handsome (haha) and a driving instructor who will adapt to the way you learn and get you passing in no time, Neils your man. Fantastic experience: Neil is an excellent driving instructor, having had little experience driving in the past he had a tough challenge ahead of him. Amazingly Neil managed to stay calm with me and his instructions were very clear to follow. He always offered support where needed. The things I’ve learnt from Neil I will continue to use, I’ll never be too scared to use plenty of gas :) I started with Neil in January and managed to pass first time in June, I put this down to how much of a fantastic, calm and patient instructor Neil is.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for an excellent driving instructor, who is very patient and who will take you through all the important and necessary driving lessons including maneuvers, then Neil Morrison is your man. I started taking lessons in March and totally from scratch [cos i was new to driving] and by the end of oct; i was ready for my test. I sat for my practical driving test in nov; and i passed. Fantastic experience: Neil's an excellent driving instructor and guided me to passing my test today. I started learning in February and since then he's always strived to make every lesson fun and enjoyable, while also making sure you know every driving trick, maneuver and technique 110% through and through, in order to improve your overall standard. He's been teaching people to drive for years and that experience really shines through, never becoming frustrated or going too fast to follow. Even though I failed my first test, he continued to help mw with any issues or faults with my driving to help me feel more comfortable and confident the second time round. He made the entire test seem quick and easy, I'll definitely be booking my Pass Plus with him as well as recommending him to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: Passed on my 3rd attempt with only 1 minor with Neil! (1st test with another instructor). Neil is truly the best driving instructor (i've had three). He is extremely knowledgable and goes into every little detail to make your test seem 'easy' - which it felt like! Very patient and has great, innovotive ways of teaching. Fantastic experience: I had past my test 20yr ago so coming back to driving I was nervous as hell but Neil is a Great instructor that will go over the weak spots of your driving till you, have got it perfect. I would recomend Neil to anbody who is just starting to learn to drive, or like myself is coming back to driving.
