As someone who always felt the ability to drive was getting away from me since I gave up in my late teens (and many other times over the next 10 years) Ellen gave me all my confidence back every time I stepped into the car. Fantastic experience: I recently passed my First driving test with flying colors, and I owe it all to my exceptional driving instructor, PREM!! . From the very beginning, Prem was incredibly patient and supportive, always believing in my abilities even when I had doubts. Previously, I had lessons with another instructor within the same school Mehmet, who constantly told me I would fail because he couldn’t perform miracles. This was disheartening and made me lose confidence. However, switching to Prem was the best decision I made. His positive attitude and belief in me made all the difference. Thanks to Prem’s excellent guidance and encouragement, I passed my driving test on the first attempt with no minor or major faults. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. I highly recommend Prem to anyone looking for a skilled and supportive driving tutor.

Fantastic experience: Review on behalf of my wife, Rozina Ansar. Wow, what a turnaround! I passed my test the first time. I found this amazing instructor, Ellen, who was such a nice, professional, and compassionate person. She was patient, super clear with instructions, and really knew how to boost my confidence behind the wheel. Initially, it was quite hard for me to look out for a female instructor in my area, as they were not easy to find. Fortunately, when I found her, the best things happen by the grace of my almighty. When I met her, she advised me in such a caring way, which saved me a lot of money. Ellen was very honest and advised me to have lessons according to my needs. I have used my husband's car, and she advised me what to do and how a minimum lesson would help me pass my test. She has been very helpful and understands my driving-related anxiety. Fantastic experience: I failed my driving test twice doing Manual and decided to change to automatic and to a new instructor. Ellen was my driving instructor and I cannot recommend her enough. She is absolutely brilliant. She is so kind, patient and really put me at ease. I’ve always had anxiety around driving, but Ellen was able to ease my worries and after many years of tying and failing I finally managed to pass under Ellen’s instruction. Thank you so much Ellen. Had two previous unplesant and irritable driving instructors prior which put me off from driving with their unhelpful criticism on the smallest mistakes but Ellen helped me rebuild that confidence with her warm-hearted and considerate approach. She was always willing to explain things to me over and over again if needed, even during the times when I would forget. Absolutely fantastic and helped me pass my test first time round. Really pays attention to the smaller details and explains the significance and reasons of each action. Would highly reccommend Ellen, especially if you care about the why's of the road alongside the practical driving.

I passed my first practical driving test on 31/08/23 with the support of most patient, calm, encouraging, and flexible- Ellen. Walkers School of Motoring should clone Ellen so there would be more of her or all instructors would be like her Ellen’s teaching approach facilitates effective learning. He possesses a keen eye for seeing things in your driving style. And giving you sound advice to improve. He emphasises that it's not about passing the test but rather about honing your driving skills so you feel confident as a capable driver overall.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Walkers Driving School 6 months ago and passed my test first time yesterday. I had the amazing Mehmet as my instructor, he was so pleasant, patient and knowledgeable about all things driving and offered clear direct advice. Every time I doubted myself Mehmet was there encouraging me. I highly recommend Mehmet 100%.

Fantastic experience: Last year I contacted Walkers in need of a driving instructor for a short notice test, unfortunately i didn't pass that test but i booked another test at Bromely test center. Due to me and Mehmet having much more time to prepare for this test, he showed me all the test routes I could potentially take on my test. Simplified all the Manoeuvres, which made it less confusing and easy to remember. Leading up to the test I felt really prepared but was still very nervous for the test. Mehmet was very patient and kind, and was always willing to go over anything I was not confident with. I passed with only 2 driving faults, I couldn't have done this without Mehmet,Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Mehmet from walkers driving school best instructor ever! I highly and 100% recommend him. I previously was a student with RED for over a year then AA for about another year and just couldn’t master driving especially with manoeuvres. But from just a short while learning with mehmet he made those manoeuvres as well as other aspects of driving easier for me understand and complete. He has alot of patience and will really push you to ensure you master driving even if it means repeating the same things to you a million times like he had to do with me to get me to fully understand lol… So all thanks to him and his teaching skills today I have passed my driving test!

I contacted Walkers after not getting on so well with a previous instructor (from elsewhere) and I never looked back. Mehmet is an excellent instructor - his calm demeanour and patience provide the ideal learning environment. He prepared me well for my test, so that there were no surprises on the day. Thank you Mehmet! I also want to say that Melanie was always super helpful on the phone and very quick to respond to my emails. All round great customer service! The lessons are really good value for money and I would recommend Walkers and Mehmet to anyone that wants to learn to drive and pass their practical test.

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK! USE ANOTHER SCHOOL! I was almost too scared to start lessons again. As my instructor was very scary. He would shout and swear when I made a mistake. Rendering me with so much anxiety that I considered if I wanted to drive at all. I did call up to complain about it and I was told that they knew and have had other complaints. That was it. Really bad school for new drivers especially ones who are nervous. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Negative experience: Booked block of 16 lessons for my 20 year old daughter in the pandemic.. only received 6 .. no communication from Walkers after my daughter was constantly ringing her instructor to no avail. and now told instructor left and we are unable to book further lessons as owner Ella said they had expired..I wasn’t asking for a refund just the lessons. She was rude condescending and blamed my daughter because they are in the wrong.. started citing terms and conditions which have never been sent or advised previously.. This company has never delivered what I paid for and essentially stolen my money..

Fantastic experience: I passed with 2 minors! I had the amazing Mehmet as an instructor whilst learning with walkers. He was calm and patient with me throughout our lessons. As an older learner he was very encouraging and allowed me to take it all at my pace. His communication was excellent, he is always clear and concise whilst welcoming any questions I had. It’s comforting to have an instructor who starts every lesson with a clear plan of what we will be doing. 100% recommend this driving school and him in particular!

Negative experience: I had an awful experience with one of the driving instructors at Walkers in Bromley, he was late to arrive for my driving lesson, then when he did arrive I found him to be rude, his teaching style did not make me feel at ease, it actually made me feel quite nervous, which affected the way I was driving. There was one occasion where I was reverse parking into a very busy car park, I paused for one moment to ask a question and make sure I was in the right position to complete this manoeuvre, but he complained that I was taking too long, and that I was annoying his colleague (also another Walkers driving instructor) in the car behind us ( he could have just driven round us, which he eventually did) the whole point of a driving LESSON is to teach someone, isn’t it?

Fantastic experience: My Instructor Mehmet was easy going, understanding and straight to the point. What made everything easier about the lessons and also helped with my test. He focuses on what you’ll be doing in your test so nothing will surprise you.

I wasn't very confident when I first started but he motivated and guided me in a way that I was able to pass the first time around. Fantastic experience: I took my lessons with Mehmet Hassan. He knows it very well. He taught me all the bits and details I needed to know to be perfectly prepared for the test. When it comes to parallel parking, bay parking and right on the right side, he shows you all the reference points and he repeats many times for you to remember it forever. He covers daytime, evening and weekends weather early in the morning or late in the evening. He is very patient and knows what the learner needs to cover. what I truly enjoyed learning from him was he repeats everything multiple times. so all the details settle in the memory forever. I was always on time few mins early at the pick up point and saw him waiting there patiently for me. I would strongly advise taking lessons with him. I passed my driving test ofr the first time only having 3 minors. the minors were my fault becuase he repeatedly told me to correct myself. i couldn't be happier. passed the test for the 1st time having only 3 minors. he goes above and beyond to make sure you are super confident for your test.

Since I had some experience in driving, I wanted fine tuning with specific advice on the test and he was able to deliver it very clearly without wasting time. Fantastic experience: im currently taking my lessons here with my instructor paul who’s been very patient and helpful the entire way through. i started off being very shaky and nervous and having no clue what i was doing and he’s kept me calm with no pressure the entire way through. highly recommend this place for first time drivers to take their lessons, it’s easily affordable & the instructors are amazing.

Fantastic experience: I firstly had an instructor who i didn’t feel was going to help me move forward in automatic driving successfully, and my transition to moving to another instructor was smooth and simple. My new instructor Mehmet was really straight forward with his teaching. He helped me to understand more about the roads through diagrams, apps and codes of conduct that he had on hand at all times. I’m more than happy with the way he taught me, in my automatic lessons, because he always knew the best ways to make sure i would understand how to do certain things whilst driving and would always ask if i agree with how things were going. He passed me first time in a matter of months and i would highly recommend anyone doing automatic lessons to ask for Mehmet for a high chance of passing with his help.

His teaching skills are on point, he is patient, friendly and adaptable therefore i know he would teach everyone at their own pace as he did with me. He is very organised and accurate too.
