Fantastic experience: Just passed my test, reliable instructor.

Negative experience: I had a handful of lessons/driving tests with Tahir - no problems, until the latest driving test I had booked in, I had give him a fair few weeks notice and then reminded him of this the day before of the test to which he ‘forgot’ about the test and then decided to inform me of the excessive price he wished to charge for this 24 hours prior to the test day/time even though this had been booked in for weeks prior. Offering no other option but to ultimately ‘take it or leave it’ this left me stranded completely with a booked test which will now go to complete waste. This will now be wasted and of course the test cannot be changed due to the required notice past the relevant date leaving myself out of pocket for no fault of my own. Unfortunately it seems it is all about pound signs to these instructors these days as despite paying Tahir hundreds of pounds already there is sadly not one bit of loyalty shown back, cruel world. With no offer from Tahir of any options around this but a simple meaningless message stating - 'I am sorry you feel this way'. Would avoid and hope this doesn't happen to anyone going forward.

Positive experience: Tahir was always punctual, used the whole training time efficiently, communicated the key points and was flexible to accommodate my schedule. It was very helpful that he secured an earlier test date for me. The only point I was concerned about was that sometimes the real-time feedback was unnecessary or rushed as I was doing the right task anyway. This made me distracted and stressed sometimes, but this might not be an issue for another person. Overall the lessons all helped me pass my test in the first attempt!
