Negative experience: I booked "Half Day Drifting Experience" at Standlake Areana which is a con lol - my partner timed how long I was behind the wheel, it was about 12mins in total... The photo is very misleading because I was expecting to learn how to drift around a track... We were there from 2.30pm til about 5.30pm so it's mad that I was only behind the wheel for that long (especially as the trip was 3hrs there and back)... Also, I paid the £10 collision waiver but when I came near the barrier the instructor pulled the hydro handbrake so hard that the car came to a stop lol so what's the point in paying the waiver? I would not recommend this to anyone... Avoids being a 1* because the instructors are nice people...

Fantastic experience: Flew from Ireland to do the 3hr 1 to 1 lesson and it was amazing, so worth it! The fellas were so genuine and properly taught you what to do but let you have fun at the same time, will definitely be back!!

Negative experience: Booked myself in for 01/09/24, Absolutely disappointed by the experience. Went to Stafford Track, and bare in mind we've travelled all the way from Manchester. When we got there, we were told it starts at half 8, but we started at 9 a.m. Keath, nice chap, but they need a better system in place rather than a clipboard in place with names on it. My name wasn't called out, I enquired, and he told me it had been called out, but it hadn't been. I got to do a doughnut for 5 minutes, then on my second go I got 3 goes to go round a short course, which wasn't more than 10mins. Lastly, you are a passenger in cars the staff drive at full speed. I paid the 10 pounds for damage, which is a con in itself as you hardly drive the cars. They were all clapped Lexus vehicles. For the money spent, I wouldn't go there again.

Positive experience: Great experience and the guys were really friendly in and out the car. I used Rye Hill, which is quite a tight area to learn in for the first time, but probably good for more experienced drivers for a challenge. They did say they're looking to use an upgraded area there in the future though. Overall, great half a day out as a total beginner!

Fantastic experience: Had a great 1/2 day experience, yes it was a bit busy, but they have to make a living. It was a nice sunny day so we didn’t mind at all. Had some good fun and really enjoyed the day. Thanks again to all at learn2drift.

Positive experience: Had a short 1 hour session - was really well organised and we flew through the instructions and pre driving activities. Much better organised than other driving events I have been to. Spent a while as a passenger which was really fun, and waited a few minutes then got onto donuts and figure of 8 manoeuvres. Instructors all really friendly and helpful. Was a little confusing as all drivers waited around for 10 minutes afterwards as we weren’t told the experience was over, but apart from that, a great 1 hour and worth the £30.

Negative experience: Booked at Yarmouth Arena. Friendly staff but the actual driving portion felt quite rushed unfortunately. Whats advertised as 20-30 minutes driving time is actually about 10 minutes in the car at most, with a 2 - 3 minute passanger ride. The other 3-4 hours are waiting around. I booked in November and it was 3⁰ out, now obviously this is no fault of the organisers but it would have been nice to have some of the buildings at the venue open for drivers and spectators to wait between sessions out the cold and wind. No where onsite for refreshments or drinks but a local garage and shop. Whilst I understood that this was an experience and not a proper 1 to 1 course, I was expecting more time in the cars than two rushed 5 minute sessions, first one doing a few donughts and a figure 8, and second was 4 goes around some cones, both in a rather tight area. I would have loved to learn how to powerslide or do a few more basic things. However the instructors were great, friendly and clear with instructions. It would have been nice to have a little longer in the car to familiarise with the throttle and clutch. Just when I felt I got the hang of a technique my go was over for the next people to be rushed through. Whilst I get this is a business, I was surprised to see around 25 people on the morning session with me, I was expecting maybe 10 people and a bit more time in the cars? I was lucky as I got my experience discounted on an offer, however the experience was still a bit underwhelming for what I paid. If I paid the full £265 like others on the day, I'd be absolutely fuming! Definitely not worth the full normal price in my opinion. Overall it was run efficiently, even though everyone was rushed through, staff were great and the passanger rides were fun, I had a good laugh, just a shame I didn't get longer in the cars as advertised. Less people with more time in the cars would reflect the normal price better though.

Negative experience: Had half day Drifting day with this company at Stafford. Staff were friendly but not worth the money or effort. Probably no more than 30mins of driving but you hang around for 3.5 hours as they go through 20-30 participants. Only had 5 cars so as they broke or needed repairs wait was even longer. It was raining heavily but they didn’t open the indoor place so we had to stand around in the uncovered cold. Staff were openly smoking cigarettes or vaping whilst colleagues were fuelling the cars nearby. No helmets given as they didn’t have enough.

Negative experience: I would like you to know how disgusted me and my family are with your company at the Dunsfold Venue. We had a booking there Saturday 2nd September for my son that he received for a birthday present, and they refused to let him have his ride because we didn't have the voucher printed! 1st of all, I have bought lots of experiences from Buy a Gift, but this is the 1st time we have been asked for the actual voucher, and not anywhere does it say we have to bring the printed voucher. As I said, this was a present from a family member, so why would we have that? The man, Andy, i think his name was,that was in charge, was rude, obnoxious, arrogant and made me feel like a child, laughing at me. The staff members were swearing at each other from the cars and shouting to hurry up and get the next person in cos they wanted to go home. They were also jumping out of the cars whilst still moving. I was gobsmacked at this cowboy run operation. I literally gave up at that point and left as the guy wasn't accommodating at all. I then wake up the next day to an email from thanking me for attending Saturday and you really hope I enjoyed the day, talk about rub salt in the wounds!! Not only was I left with a very upset son, my niece has paid for nothing and I paid an extra £15 for us to go to that venue. Never would I recommend this company

Fantastic experience: What an incredible day!!!! I bought a 3 hour intensive learn to drift experience for my husbands 40th birthday. WOW what a day for the whole family!!!! My husband loved every single second of it and they included myself and our son too which made it a great day out. The instructors were incredible, the food van was yummy, clean toilets, great track and fantastically organised. Worth every penny!!! 3 hours solid driving!!!

Negative experience: Half-day drifting experience should call " half-day waiting time" 3-4h waiting time and i think 10 min in car.. I find voucher for 69£ so was not bad but if somebody pay over 200£ for this... not worth. No place to eat, drinks. I wouldn't treat it as a lesson

Fantastic experience: Great firm and staff. Andy and the team do care about your experience and really make sure that you get the most from the day. My lad had an awesome day doing the 3 hour 1-2-1. Corey was amazing as an instructor and really got the best from my 14 year old. The cars are really good, they take a beating, but are exactly what you need to start out to learn in. They can still perform as Corey showed my lad with a 360 or too. I have no hesitation in booking again with the team and we are already looking forward to it.

Negative experience: Poor policies and they ignore emails, they don't actually care about you once they have your money. I recommend you find someplace else.

Fantastic experience: My son went out on his first drift lesson with the amazing Jo-Jo at Stafford on Saturday 24th June, he had an excellent day, Jo-Jo is brilliant she encouraged and boosted his confidence, saw his potential and gave him everything he needed and was surprised at just how good he was - to which I was also staggered, I can't thank you all enough, we are now getting his car ready to book a public day asap, thank you once again, the best day we've had in a long time

Negative experience: Misleading and utterly disappointing, “Hour drifting” experience had me arriving to start by 11am and was finished by 11:30, only got 10 minutes behind the wheel to do a couple of donuts and the odd figure of 8 In the description they claim you get to chose out of 4 different cars including a Lexus IS200 which were the only cars available to drive may I say, a Nissan S14/S14 A to name a few which were no where to be seen on sight Unless you are willing to pay near on £600 for a full day which I believe is extortionate after my own experience, I wouldn’t wast the time or money on travelling the distance for such dissatisfaction

Negative experience: Paid for hour drift experience and passenger ride. Plus had to pay extra £15 to use dunsfold! Only recieved 30 minutes driving. Questioned the man in charge he said you pay for hour at the track total not hour drive time. ( was at track total of 40 minutes! ). Had no card reader either to pay damage waiver or for photographs. Others doing same experience at same time complained. Rip off company

Negative experience: Standing around in the heat without even a seat, never mind a drink. Rough place, grim cars, although the organiser was a nice chap. Totally not worth it and I drove 2.5 hours to get there. Avoid.

Negative experience: This was a complete rip-off. I bought the half day drifting experience as a present. It consisted of less than 20 minutes driving , 10 minutes as a passenger and 4 hours waiting around. No customer care. Avoid! 1 stars is 1 too many

Negative experience: We bought this for our son. Our venue was in Oxford. I have never been so disappointed. We purchased this of Wowcher and I can honestly say that I am so glad we never paid the price that they charge if you buy it direct My sons session was at 11am on 15/04/23. When we arrived there was no clear directions as to where you check in. There was an old single decker bus where you signed in. The safety briefing was done outside next to a car. This to me lacked professionalism. There was a porta-cabin type of building where this could have been done. They were running behind by about 45 minutes which is fair enough. People who had fast laps with the professionals were rushed through, then the "drifting" started for the people who had paid for this. I use the term "drifting" very loosely as the only thing my son and the others got to do was do-nuts and a figure of 8 through cones. This was done in groups of 4 people and took a very long time. The order you go out is the order i when you turn up. Overall, this was boring and not what you are led to believe you will be doing. The local dodgy kids do this kind of thing in the local supermarket car park. My advise would be to save your money so you save the disappointment. Not very well organised. There was definitely a lack of professionalism here!!

Negative experience: Expensive day out to sit outside a locked shack to hear staff complaining about their long day, for hours waiting around for your 5 minute go, only to find out your 'laps' are driving in a figure of 8 with a doughnut at the end, with practically no help as staff are more pre-occupied with telling you how tired they are from driving to stafford. Overall unenjoyable, with staff having unprofessional customer service, for a lackluster 10 minute maximum time behind the wheel yourself.

Negative experience: A half day session is only about 10 minutes in the car, the rest of the time is just standing around waiting. It was a fun 10 minutes, but not at all the experience that was advertised.

Negative experience: Don’t listen to the other reviews. They are paid/ written by the owners. Half day experience gave us 2 short goes, 10 minutes driving TOTAL. There were 20 people, mostly broken cars. We just stood around for 3 hours. Absolute rip off merchants!

Fantastic experience: A friend and I shared a 3hr intensive 1-2-1 drift lesson - we had the most amazing day! Our instructor Jules (Julie Robinson) was utterly brilliant - fun, encouraging, patient, insightful and massively skilled. Her tuition really helped us to progress quickly. We’ll be back for the 6hr one next time!

Fantastic experience: Shared a 3 hour 121 session with my friend earlier today. Absolutely loved every second of it! Never had so much fun!!! Julie was instructing us. She was fantastic! Positive experience: Really enjoyed learning to drift, had a couple of different drivers who were incredibly patient, particularly given I hadn’t driven a manual for a few years. They also sorted out the issue in getting my photos which I appreciated. I would rate five star except the guy who owned it took a car out and did all the things we were told off for doing to make it drift which felt a bit harsh highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Brilliant experience, first time drifting and loved it. Jules was my instructor and she was so good. Jules defo helped make the experience, she put me at ease, was patient and really helped me out with what to do and when. It is defo harder than it looks especially the second part after the donuts and figure of 8. We will be back!

Negative experience: Have been twice; both were a half-day (3hr) 1-2-1. First time was great. Super instructor and lots of track time. Day started with doughnuts, figure 8s and progressed on to a [cone] track which was really great. Second time my instructor was unable to demonstrate the technique to me in the IS200. He then insisted on swapping the car, but the second car broke down and I spent the next nearly 2 hours waiting off the track for my car to be repaired. Once it was finally running, I was told it was going to somebody else and I got back into the original car. Hardly any drive time. Feel a bit gutted at the waste of money so have not gone back.

Positive experience: To start off the day, it was looking like heavy disappointment, as there had clearly been some miscommunication between the booing agent and L2D. However, the team were able to sort something out and accommodate me and fulfil my experience, they went above and beyond. My passenger laps with Wayne were fantastic, very controlled and smooth drifter. My instructor, Corey has incredible patience and very informative, which is definitely needed when learning to drift. His instructions and actions were clear, and precise. Thanks L2D for a great experience! Matt Manchester

Negative experience: Looks good if you get the right instructor! Two female instructors out on the tarmac. One (the younger of the two) was amazing. Unfortunately our little boy who had been looking forwards to it for weeks (was a birthday present), was taken on a drive which wasn’t even as exciting as my own daily driving! He was extremely underwhelmed by the experience! Disappointing as we were promised he would get thrown around in the car. Won’t recommend nor return. Note. My son went out with another child who was not only younger but also using a booster seat. That child was in a car being slung around, proper drifting and even completing 360 degree spins! Of course they also had a professional photographer taking pictures! Perhaps this was why!!! Completely wrong! My sons experience had nothing to do with health and safety! My son has a high adrenaline drive and his “body language” as you’ve tried to to use as yet another excuse was that of a child unimpressed! Not a child who was scared! Why do you need to continuously come back at my review with more twists to give excuses for a poor experience? Accept that you failed us and that the only reason the young boy who was in a booster got a better experience was because he had the camera on him! Which I might add! Was this an option for everyone? We saw nothing and we’re told nothing about the option of having professional photos on the day. Yet several kids turned up and were given numbers for the photographer! The instructor then played to the camera and gave that little boy a thrill he wouldn’t forget. Our son however, the car wasn’t even caught in the background of any of those photos as the photographer put the camera down as the car he was in passed. The venue was dirty and with confusing signage (signpost points you off to the left for drifting, only for someone to promptly run over and tell you parking is on the right!!). Nothing about the experience from start to finish was worth the money. We were considering the more expensive experience for myself and my husband but after seeing what you get (we watched an adult learn 2 drift experience before our son went out) I’d say to anyone thinking about it. Either go to one of the other venues or try and completely different company. Finally, remember if you do have a bad experience and you want to leave a honest review, they will come back with lies and twists to make it sound like they done nothing wrong. A good company would come back accepting it and apologise. Says a lot about the people running the poor set up.

Fantastic experience: Big thank you to all the team today, especially Emma and Sarah for teaching both Lucy and I to drift for our first time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in the Lexus IS200. Negative experience: Very disappointed. Paid for the day (6 hours or whatever it was) and ended up max about 20 mins in the car. To make things worse - they let someone take his car round the track that didn't even pay, he got more time than the rest of us. What really hacked me off is they had the audacity to charge a surcharge to go to ROCKINGHAM RACE TRACK!!! Wow OK, I'll pay the Surcharge and drive all the way up there for that!!!! Turns out it's in the carpark outside it. False advertising or what! And they also advertise on their site as having cool cars like Skylines for example....WOW! Cool! But nope, it was an old school Lexus. And finally, it's not really drifting, there's no handbrake involved and you start "drifting" from a standing start. So what turned out to be a good day drifting a Skyline round Rockingam race track was actually wheel-spinning an old Lexus for 20 minutes in a carpark. You don't get a word in edgeways with the main guy there, he talks for Britain. So I emailed when I got home....they never bothered replying. Strongly advize against spending good money on this. They should be done for false-advertising. Judging by his other replies to negative feedback - he'll come up with some patronising b*llocks

Negative experience: Got a half day drift experience as a gift. Should be named 15minutes of disappointment instead.. the total time there was 3 hours which was shared between over 20 drivers and only 4 cars. It was either over booked or that's how they make money.. spent about 15mins in the car and maybe about 7 mins of driving. Very disappointed, overall experience was quite bad, no track or handbrake use, which was not even close to actual drifting. Also passenger lap was literally 200m circle spinning to one side which again wasn't even close to actual drifting. Don't waste your money people!!!

Negative experience: Absolute waste of a lot of money. Staff do not have the time of day to communicate with you. Total time on the track was around 15 minutes the rest of time was stood waiting around. Very disappointing birthday gift would never go back.

Fantastic experience: We visit the wheels park as it has the most amazing speed skating track. They offer coaching for kids and provide all the equipment needed. There is a great atmosphere and people of all ages take part (4 years +). It's a hidden gem in the heart of on urban city.
