Fantastic experience: Brilliant instructor Cheers and hats off to you for your hard work and effort that you put in to make me pass I'm very happy that I chose shooting star driving school At first I was very worried and scared due to having multiple instructors switch but when I started taking lessons with Jamil he taught me everything I ever needed to know I'm forever grateful for that.

Negative experience: I’ve been taking lessons with Jamil since May 2023. He has been unprofessional and rude towards me. I felt uncomfortable in every lesson I had with him. I thought I’d take it on the chin and just pass my license and get it over and done with. But friends and family have raised concerns as to why it’s taking 18 months for me to still not have passed my driving. I have listened to all his advice and tried to stay resilient but I feel like I am getting no where. I’m not sure why he’s been treating me completely different than the previous students as shown in the reviews. But I wouldn’t recommend him for females or any students if you just want to be constantly shouted at, and no professional constructive feedback given. I just feel like he was rinsing me out. He was also using his phone, taking phone calls either from his family or other students so the full focus wasn’t there. I also felt like he gave very weird vibes when we had conversations - he used to ask about my personal life, relationships, work, how much I earn, and made comments on my appearance/outfits whenever I used to post myself on Whatsapp… I once had enough patience and had to tell him off for shouting at me about such a small mistake in a manoeuvre while I was parked at a bay - since then he has stopped shouting and having personal conversations with me and the lessons we had became silent and awkward. I’m at the stage where I need to pass my license as I have responsibilities and commitments, and I can no longer continue with his lessons. I really don’t know what other students have experienced but good luck to everyone else who’s using his service - I might just be the only one who’s been treated this way for reasons I don’t know of.

Fantastic experience: After a very traumatic experience with another instructor who shouted at me after failing I took a risk with this instructor he is amazing! I passed first time with this instructor he tailors each lesson to each student , I have the worst driving anxiety and this instructor was kind understanding and more importantly he saw the potential and made sure I reached it. I always said if I pass it’s because of you , he was always on time ready to start the lesson and pushes all his students ! It’s not hard to see why all his students pass !
