Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing time full of adrenaline, mud, bumpy terrain and getting told "turn right. Turn quicker. TURN QUICKER!" multiple times. The staff here are amazing with their instructions and guidance - it's worth coming here just for the hilarious safety induction presentation! Some memorable moments: - Flipped over as a passenger - Rear steering fell off and drove into a hedge (No one was hurt and we were safely rescued) 10/10, loved it and would very happily come here again!

Fantastic experience: Came here on a Stag do, and the 4x4 Driving School was definitely the highlight for everyone. Had an amazing time and was free to throw the cars around! No instructors in the cars with you telling you to take it slow. Will definitely be returning when it’s wetter! Thank you for the awesome experience!

Fantastic experience: Before we arrived, my son and I weren't sure what to expect, except that we were likely to get muddy! I have had a previous off-road driving experience, in which we drove a Discovery, but that was very tame compared to this 4x4 experience! The owner encouraged us to try different techniques, and had no concerns that we might damage his vehicles! Overall, we had a great time at the 4x4 Driving School, and would thoroughly recommend it if you want to experience proper off-road driving. Many thanks to all the staff for making our morning such good fun, and for sending through the videos.

Fantastic experience: Excellent 4x4 off-road driving experience with knowledgeable and friendly instructors. Very useful induction before driving. You get to drive the whole time by yourself following the instructor. Great track with lots of features to navigate through. Set in a nice wood with great views across the valley. Would totally recommend to anyone interested in off-road driving experience!

Fantastic experience: Ridiculous fun. Don't mistake this for your average 'experience' day where you're wrapped up in cotton wool and prevented from actually using the car/truck to it's full potential. This is not that, they really inspire confidence in you. The banter is strong too, if you mess up they are there to sort it out whilst making light of it all. 'Nail it'

Fantastic experience: Great day out. No matter what the weather you'll have a great time. Instructors are fab but let you take the wheel in a vehicle alone. Highly recommend!! Ps not ideal for short people (under 5 ft) as the drivers seat doesn't adjust.

Fantastic experience: Great fun at 4x4 driving school. Really confident and helpful instructors put us at ease getting into these crazy vehicles. The tracks we were taken round we challenging, but manageable for beginners, and there was always someone on hand to shout instruction should we get stuck in the mud! I'd highly recommend this as a gift to anyone remotely interested in extreme driving, the price is reasonable providing great value for money - and the freedom you are given behind the wheel is more than I could have ever expected as someone with no off road experience.

Fantastic experience: I came here for a 4x4 experience day for my fathers birthday. We both had an amazing time, we switched drivers frequently so we both got plenty of time in the drivers seat. It was still just as much fun as a passenger. The staff were really friendly, helpful and supportive throughout the whole experience. I would definitely go again.

Fantastic experience: This is without a shadow of a doubt the best 4X4 experience in the country. We went as a group of 10 guys on a stag party, we all fairly competent drivers and we were concerned it may be too restricted as we just wanted to go out and drive! Oh did Del and the team give us that, extremely professional, with great Welsh banter but gave the guys the freedom and guidance to do all sorts of crazy 4X4ing! The angles we had the specially built vehicles were completely un-natural but sooooooo much fun. The whole party could not stop smiling all day and was serious the best part of our weekend. If you are looking for a 4X4 experience please don’t look any further - go with 4X4 Driving school and you will not be disappointed!! Best day thanks team

Fantastic experience: We had such a great day out with this bunch! The boys absolutely loved learning how to use the 4x4s getting a bit muddy! The instructors were very knowledgable and made us all feel extremely safe. Our puppy also enjoyed a few hours of running through the hills and watching all of the fun! Thanks for a great day out :)

Fantastic experience: Sales and Lettings Angels enjoyed a fantastic day with Del and Johnie at the weekend. The safety briefing was very informative and we received clear guidance on the controls of the cars (which we were really scared about initially!) The tracks were brilliant fun and the instruction carried on in an informal way to enable us to improve our driving thought the day without having to ever come to a stop. I honestly can not believe some of the things we were 'allowed(!)' to drive over/though - brilliant fun had by every one. For all of the staff days out we have had this was enjoyed most by all. Highly recommend - loads of fun even in the rain :)

Fantastic experience: Our GLASS affiliated club booked to attend this excellent site for a day of off tarmac, good old fashioned, 4x4 fun. Not one of us was disappointed, everybody expressed their fondness for this wonderful site, and many of us who attended today, if not ALL of us! Will be back to have another outing here at the 4x4 driving school. The lads in charge of the site couldn't have been more accommodating. They answered all my questions, let me come and have a scout round before the club descended on Sunday. It couldn't have been easier to find as well, conveniently located just off the A470 As for the site itself, it deserves a dissertation its so good! But I will attempt to condense it to a paragraph! There is something there for most 4x4's and user comfort and skill levels. Most of us were able to tackle the quarry section and the open section without too much fears some went into the wooded area. There were hill climbs, descents, mud, ruts, rocky trails. Cross axle obstacles, rocks. It had everything there on our day, except snow. This is a site for proper old school 4x4's! Disco's, Land Cruisers, Jeeps, Defenders, etc etc... But even if you haven't got one of these, you can still go and use one of their converted custom 4x4's and experience it anyway! Well worth a visit. Great fun, great place, great views. Just be sensible and if you can't go one way, there's always another way you can go. 10/10 to 4x4 driving school!
