Fantastic experience: Julie was a great instructor! Very patient and kind especially when I booked my test too early, she gave up tons of her time to help me to get there! Even in the test when I wasn’t allowed to use my car, she came down to cheer me on as she didn’t have a lesson. She was a life saver because in the end I used hers! I had I great experience with Julie and the GP driver training and would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: After passing my part 2 test I had to decide if I was going to take on a franchise with the same company. I was questioning the level of support from my previous trainers and wasn’t happy to enter into the contract so I made the decision to change companies for my part 3 test. I am so glad that I came across Guy and GP Driver & Instructor Training. It made the world of difference to me and how I went about my learning. Guy has a great way about him which is fun but also allows you to learn at the same time. I never felt that I couldn’t improve or be successful in my journey, he made me question how I write and conduct my own lessons and analyse myself as an instructor to become better and more effective. He provided client centred learning to me and at the same time helped me to do the same with my own pupils and he gave me the confidence to pass. Thanks for everything Guy!

Communication was often slow, and it was difficult to get timely responses or clear information. With better customer service, this company could provide a much smoother overall experience.

He explains rules of the road with theory and will highlight your development areas in a way that still allows you to grow with confidence. Fantastic experience: I would recommend GP Driving School and Ala to anyone! The level of teaching is just amazing. Guy did a mock test with me what helped me a lot too. After being with a different instructor for a while (not GP driving school) I changed over with Ala and his way of teaching me made me feel so much more comfortable and confident. Negative experience: Are their instructors any good? Maybe, but I wouldn't know, as I couldn't get them to let me pay them! Their communication is downright abysmal. They have asked me to leave my email for them to send me a payment link 72 hours before the first lesson, the date for which we agreed upon a month and a half before it. Come three days before the first lesson, I still haven't received the payment link. Trying to reach out to them got me no response, as their phone number is connected to a third party call center that handles inquiries but is unable to resolve any situation around an existing booking. On the day of the first lesson I still try to reach out to them and am met with complete silence. Finally, the next day after the lesson was supposed to occur, they reach back to me via text only when I have expressed my immense displeasure at their handling of the situation. No apology or explanation — simply informing me that the person handling my booking was away all this time, and telling me that it's my fault for not paying on the link that was sent, which is infuriating to say the least considering that literally all of my communication to them has been me begging to let me pay them so I can start my lessons. Double checking my email (both inbox and spam folder) I still see no payment link from them that they have supposedly sent me, so whether they're straight up lying to me about having sent it or are just plain ignorant I cannot say. Regardless, they have wasted a month and a half of my time and I would absolutely not recommend dealing with them due to their horrendous lack of proper communication, respect for their customers or just proper manners. EDIT: Since the owner has responded, I'll update my review to note that they didn't actually send me the proof of payment link being sent to me, nor have they ever informed me there was an option to pay on their website, which I would have happily taken back then. Judge for yourself if dealing with them is worth your time and effort.

Fantastic experience: my driving instructor Fartun Mohamed was the best. I had a few bad experiences with other companies but as soon as I started with her/gp driving school I felt comfortable and gained so much confidence in my driving. She’s patient, helpful, kind and very good at what she does. Couldn’t recommend her enough!!! On test day she believed in me when I didn’t believe in my self. I ended up passing first time with 1 minor. Couldn’t thank her and the company enough. She treats all the students like friends and genuinely cares about us. Thank you fartun and gp driving school !!!!

Negative experience: Less than 1 car length behind in the wet on motorway, abysmal driving if instructor / Appalling instruction if student. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: Matt was my instructor, I Passed my test today with only 2 minors, amazing instructor who helped me believe in myself, couldn't have done it without all his help and advice

Fantastic experience: john always made it fun to learn how to drive and did a really good job explaining how to properly do everything, he always gave corrections when i did something wrong so i know for next time, he always made me comfortable and was really good at helping me feel prepared for my test

He was very clear and precise when saying what to improve or how to improve. I felt very comfortable during the lessons. I like the flexibility of timings and also the reflective log / app to track my progress in each lesson. His mock tests really helped me a lot. Thank you Conrad and GP driving school.

Fantastic experience: Pete is lovely and a genuinely nice person. He was a great teacher/instructor and always helped me to learn without shutting me down. I didn’t have much experience of driving when i came to Pete as my previous instructor wasn’t great, but Pete helped me learn and improve my driving so much to the point where i passed my test first time (with no faults at all). I would highly recommend GP driving school and Pete in particular.

Fantastic experience: I had Guy as my instructor for my Part 3 training. Guy’s level of knowledge and expertise was obvious from the start. I found him extremely professional at all times.
