Fantastic experience: Lee is an amazing instructor, passed my test with 2 faults and they were both just due to nerves! He explains the reasons why you do some of the stuff and makes sure you understand the reasons rather than saying don’t do that do this. He teaches you how to drive not just pass your test! Everyone that has been in the car from passing my test have all commented on not driving like someone who has just passed but a confident experienced driver.

Fantastic experience: A had refresher lessons with Lee as I’d not driven for 2 years and was planning a long journey. Fantastic experience: Went out for a refresher lesson with Kam as I was sitting a UK driving test having not driven for a few years since moving from Australia. Fantastic experience: After not driving for 6 years, Kam was my instructor for my refresher lessons and he was amazing!! I had failed my test twice before with different instructors and was very nervous about the test, but John helped me stay calm and work on the aspects of driving that I needed more practice with.

I honestly don’t think I would be anywhere near passing my test without Lee’s confidence building approach (and I passed first time!). Fantastic experience: Lee was an excellent driving instructor. I hadn’t driven for 25 years so needed some refresher lessons before hitting the road again and couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Lee. He was clear with his advice and instructions, complemented me when doing something well and calmly advised me on what I’d done wrong when I’d made a mistake, took me out on the motorway for my first time which I instantly felt at ease with, and was always on time for our lessons. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I had Kam as my instructor and he was great. I study away from Manchester and was home for the Christmas holidays. Kam helped me get a test in a very short period of time and booked in regular lessons. He gave very good and clear guidance so I was ready for my test. We covered lots of test routes and did quite a lot of mock tests. My test was the day before I returned to Uni! Happy to say I passed with only 1 driver fault! Can’t thank Kam enough!

Fantastic experience: Passed my test with just 2 minors. Lee is a great guy all around. His teaching is second to none and you genuinely walk away from each lesson having learnt so much. As an older driver, I was nervous at first, but John not only got me moving, he got me past all the milestones along the way. Fantastic experience: Had lessons with Lee after a period of 8 years without driving and moving to an automatic. Lee was super helpful and accommodating, we went over anything I struggled with and really boosted my confidence in driving. I was a very nervous driver and he pushed me to become much better at making decisions and handling common situations as well as being friendly and fun to have lessons with, cannot recommend enough!

Had to up my lessons as needed to do my test sooner than planned and Lee was really accommodating. Also really grateful for Lee wearing a mask, car always spotless and well ventilated. Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Sher enough. I came to MDT after my previous instructor letting me down with a test already booked in. I did three days of intensive lessons with Sher, then my test on the fourth day, and passed first time. Coming into my lessons, I was quite anxious, having paid what felt like an awful lot of money, with no guarantee I'd be able to pass my test. The anxiety was completely forgotten after starting the lessons with Sher. Worth every single penny. Sher has a naturally calming demeanor, and assessed and corrected more small bad habits in the first hour than previous instructors has done in months. Never harsh or patronising - always relaxed and advisory in his instructions. I felt at ease in every lesson, and felt confident going into my test. TL;DR - Sher is an amazing instructor. The course is worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: After not driving for several years and letting my ability and confidence atrophy I took a series of lessons to get back on the road. My instructor Kam was amazing. Kam was very patient and understanding and helped me relearn to drive with confidence. Fantastic experience: I have just passed my test with a few minors! I failed my driving test 3 times with a previous driving school. I was a very nervous learner driver and Sher worked with me at a pace that I was comfortable with until I was at test standard level. Sher is extremely patient and takes the time to understand you as an individual so that you can get the best possible practice in your lessons. He is exceptionally dedicated and focused on getting his pupils to the finish line. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sher as a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Sher is an incredible driving instructor who helped me pass my test within 10 days. He was completely supportive and trained me from a complete beginner standard to a driver so quickly and safely. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: When I started my driving lessons I hadn't driven for two years and was extremely nervous about getting back behind the wheel. I knew the way forward was to have a course of refresher lessons but it took me a long time to pluck up the courage to arrange them. But eventually I did and what a difference it has made! Martin is an excellent instructor, professional and reliable! He patiently and kindly began with the basics and over the course of lessons not only refreshed my driving skills, but enhanced them. In essence, Martin has given me my life back. Now I can get in my car and drive to all the places I used to and plan new adventures. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Found myself in a predicament last Friday. I was a week out from my test with no instructor and still require some polishing to my driving. I got in touch with Kam and within a day notice he had me booked in for 6 hours of lesson time . Very clear and calm instruction during the lesson and offered me a lot of support with my driving. My test was the next day and I completed my test passed first time with only 3 minors. Without the support and help of Kam I wouldn’t be sat here with the pass certificate. I would recommend Kam to anyone, if you have experience driving or it is your first time in a car. Very professional and and solid in instructor.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Martin at Manchester & Stockport Driver Training. I started lessons with him in March and passed my practical test by September (during the covid back log as well!). I could not rate him any higher - my confidence and driving ability increased so much within these 6 months because of him. I was such an anxious driver to begin with, I had trialed different instructors in the past but nobody came close. I was particularly fond of how each lesson had a plan and structure - every day I felt like I had achieved something because of this. Fantastic experience: Senior Kam was incredible help as my instructor was away briefly just near to my test .. What a brilliant stand in he was . Professional and full of knowledge but more importantly.. He did his absolute best to help me as I was fretting and full of anxiety and nowhere near test ready !! I took my test yesterday and past it FIRST TIME WITH ONLY TWO MINORS !! So THANK YOU XX

Fantastic experience: Did a very flexible refreshment driving course with Lee. Lee is very patient and kind all the time and gave me plenty of advice. I am even able to drive in my own car so I don’t need to make any adjustment after the course. He made me much more confident in driving now!

Fantastic experience: I had refresher lessons with John following a fourteen year break from driving. John's calm, measured and knowledgeable approach meant I was able to progress well from lesson to lesson and evaluate any driving mishaps, being better equipped in my understanding for the next time. John was especially good at being flexible with his time ensuring that - in spite of my irregular work schedule - lessons could be booked as consistently as possible. The refresher lessons enabled me to fully regain my confidence for driving on both roads and motorways.

Fantastic experience: I started learning with Lee Ellis in April this year, having never driven before. He was great at sorting out lessons around my difficult and unpredictable work hours (even finishing some lessons at midnight). After 3 months of lessons, I passed first time with no minors, which says so much about Lee’s teaching. He’s relaxed and puts you at ease the whole time. I would 100% recommend.
