Fantastic experience: Have direct experience with instructor Geeta Haroon in the Cheetham Hill area, who was an incredible instructor. She was patient and encouraging but very effective, and guided me to passing first time, despite the lower relative pass-rate of the area. She was also very accommodating of her time and invested in my driving improvement. Would recommend her to anyone, and know she will be at this school in the near future!

Fantastic experience: I took my Manual Driving Test last week. I passed first time at Didsbury Test Centre with the help of my incredible instructor; Bilal. A quick backstory: I had 2 driving instructors before I met Bilal. They were decent at their job but I quickly found they weren't the right fit for me. After spending the first hour with Bilal, I realised that he would be the instructor that would finally help me overcome the anxieties of learning to drive. Within a few lessons, I noticed how much my confidence and my driving ability had improved. Bilal helped me overcome so many hurdles within the lessons that when the actual test came around, it felt like the easiest drive I had ever done. I thought I would be a nervous wreck if I ever took a test, but thanks to Bilal's teaching, I was surprisingly confident and calm during the test. (Despite having a strict examiner!!) Side note: No other instructor valued and respected my time as much as Bilal did. He also taught me so much about driving itself, as a skill, rather than just teaching me enough to pass. If you want someone who won't waste your time and give you all the tools you need for driving, he's your guy. I promise you won't be disappointed. Thank you Bilal, you actually made driving enjoyable for me.

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my manual driving test, first time around at Didsbury test centre all because of Bilal. I’ve been a ball of nerves and stress since first starting my lessons, but Bilal helped me get through everything so easily. He listened to my biggest concerns and helped me work on them until I could do it flawlessly. Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic 2 hour refresher session with Muzaffar. I had not driven in 6 years and felt very confident by the end of the lessons, I booked a test drive for tomorrow. He went through everything like left turns on basic streets all the way to motorways. Muzaffar was very patient, knowledgeable and kind. He also went through all the road changes, road signs, bus lanes and one way streets to refresh my memory. Would highly recommend as I am a nervous person and he put me very at ease and filled me with confidence by the end of the session. I was also seen the same day my enquiry was acknowledged by the instructor. 5 star review.

With Direct L, it's simple: send a submission with a few of your details, and they'll get back to you within days with a tutor and a first lesson. The instructor they sent to me was "Rani" and she was brilliant! Fantastic experience: I recently used Direct Learn driving School and passed my manual test first time!! I did an intensive driving course over two days with a fast track driving test. After reaching out to the company I had my test booked within three weeks at Bredbury Test Centre. Atta, my instructor was incredible. He made the two day course fun, as well as incredibly informative and efficient. He was so patient and you could tell he genuinely cared about my progress. Fantastic experience: I haven't driven for 7 years and I found an automatic extended driving test that was happening in 4 days time. Atta and Muzaffar were both amazing, without them I would have definitely failed my driving test. Atta was really quick on the call back when I put in an online enquiry. Huge thank you to Muzaffar who accommodated me on such short notice and even cancelled some of his lessons. He had 3 days to squeeze in 10 hours’ worth of lessons, we finished at midnight and then met up again 6 hours later to fit it all in, such dedication and flexibility. He was really professional and points out my mistakes and bad habits and even taught me neat tricks when doing manoeuvres. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I had two fantastic post pass driving lessons with muzaffar over the past week. I hadn't driven in 7 years since passing my test, but not only did he teach me to drive on the motorway and get used to a car, but he helped me by showing me how to drive my new van as well. If you are learning to drive or need some refresher lessons, do yourself a favour and ask for muzaffar. Absolute legend in the business and a stand-up kind gentleman.

Fantastic experience: I gave myself a goal to learn how to drive so I went with Direct L and did the intense course in automatic car with Shakiel, starting my lessons mid May ‘24 and finishing a few weeks later in June ‘24. I passed my test first time at the West Didsbury test centre with 1 minor, so feel very satisfied to have reached my goal. The available lesson times were very flexible and I got all the instruction I needed to pass. I knew my areas of strength but also feedback on my areas of weakness. The mock tests were really helpful in identifying key areas of focus and to familiarise myself with the potential test day routes. One difficult mock test ended up being my actual test route, which was great as I knew what was coming my way. Communication with Shakiel was clear and consistent. He is professional but also friendly, which is important in a learning context. I would recommend Direct L to get the result you want.

Fantastic experience: Went on the intensive course and spread 15 hours over two weeks, failed twice before with other instructors and ended up passing with Aarif with only one minor, top man and would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Aarif was amazing! I came to him with 10 HRs worth of experience, i did 10HRs with him and i passed with in 10 days! He is such a good instructor and i would recommend to everyone! I was struggling with little things here and there but he didn't miss anything!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional driving instructor, eating food while teaching, being called a ‘bad girl’ when carrying out a manouver, even being told to drive to the instructors house to collect a charging wire.. after spending £1500 on the ‘fast pass’ course we had to start from scratch with a more professional company as no driving techniques were taught, I did manage to get a £300 refund. I wasn’t going to leave a review but the said driving instructor has recently tried to follow my daughter on her social media account which is really creepy and shows the level of professionalism.

He was extremely patient with me and I definitely would’ve not passed 1st time without him. I genuinely can not thank him enough!

Fantastic experience: I did an automatic crash course with shakiel after he passed both my sisters within less than 3 months. I have had previous instructors in the past, who didn’t care to take their time and quite frankly, just wasted my time and money. From the first lesson, Shakiel took the time to adjust himself to my learning needs and didn’t care about having to repeat or go over things I may have missed. He was also very honest about the hours I needed and continuously went above and beyond to make himself available for lessons. Fantastic experience: I went for the semi intensive package for my automatic lessons and passed first time!! Shakiel was an amazing instructor and really helped me improve my driving. Fantastic experience: 10/10! If you are someone who wants to get their driving boxed off efficiently, then look no further than Direct Learn Driving School. Adeel spend 20 hours with me and got me ready to pass within 2 weeks! With myself working most days until 6, he was really flexible and taught me even if times were inconvenient. His skills and process were of the upmost quality and for this reason I was so comfortable in my test... it felt like a joke! I would wholeheartedly recommend Direct Learn to anyone looking to pass with ease :)

Fantastic experience: I reached out to the Direct Learn Driving School as my previous instructor dropped me 2 weeks before my test date due to me being a “danger on the road”. Atta got back to me on the same day I messaged him and he told me he would help me out. I was based in North Manchester and they primarily work in South Manchester so I was also very appreciative of the fact he was willing to travel up to help me. We managed to do 5, 2 hour lessons within the 2 weeks. My experience with Atta being my instructor was exceptional. He is a great instructor , was able to identify areas for me to improve on, very calm and easy to talk to. The lessons were always structured, enjoyable and he provided great feedback. The difference between him and my first instructor was night and day. Thanks to his help I was able to pass my test first time. Overall, I would definitely recommend this driving school to anyone who is looking for a instructor!
