His teaching style is excellent—he explains everything clearly and helps you identify and correct your mistakes immediately. He’s calm, straightforward, and incredibly supportive. Negative experience: I am warning those student who are naive like myself - they have wasted my time since last year until for 9months last March I asked for an instructor and they kept delaying my lessons and the instructors who will take toilet brakes at McDonald’s. Once they’ve found out to save their reputation they offered to give me a refund for the remaining lessons and now I only have month left before my theory expires. I’ve explained this to them many times but they have refused to help to arrange a driving instructor. Now I have to start the process with a new driving school. I don’t recommend them

Fantastic experience: Huge shout-out to Mr. Arsal Shahid - Best Instructor Ever! Incredibly skilled and experienced, Great Patient, he got me passing on the first attempt with 4 minor! I feel very fortunate to have him as a Instructor for my last minute exam. He guided me every single step of the process and gave me all the necessary tips. The main part is he never failed to make me feel comfortable throughout the lessons and Mock test. Though I took very less lessons with Mr. Arsal Shahid & Smart learner, I had a great support even when I booked the last minute test and passed my test on the first attempt with their help. I highly recommend Mr. Arsal for all the learners.

Not only has she taught me how to drive for a test but she has gone above and beyond to give me lessons that will help me with my driving for the future. She has all the qualities that an instructor should have such as being reliable, kind, encouraging, understanding and honest. She will put pressure on you, which goes to show how passionate she is for her job and how much she cares about her students passing. This has led me to pass my test first time in Coventry (manual).If anyone is looking for an instructor I would highly recommend her. My experience with her has been the best, she’s amazing❤️

Fantastic experience: Passed with Darrin (Tanea) From day one, he’s been incredibly supportive and patient, making the driving experience enjoyable and stress-free. Having had many previous instructors, I can guarantee that Darrin has been the one to explain complex concepts in a simple way. He’s also very dedicated to ensuring the success of his students and always provides flexible hours.

Fantastic experience: I took my driving classes from Rajesh, and believe me when I say this, he is an expert at what he does. He helped me understand the driving techniques and rules very well and patiently, though I made some mistakes repeatedly while learning-be it changing gears at the right, checks to do while approaching, in, and leaving roundabouts, making the decision of joining right lanes at roundabouts , all types of parking techniques, emergency stops, speed control and so on. His techniques are safe, easy and relatable. Also helped me get through the stress before the exam. Thank you Sir for guiding me. In just 3-4 months I feel confident and I was able to clear the driving test in my first attempt -Nuneaton center

I passed my driving test today first time with only 1 minor and it’s all down to Raj, he was a very knowledgable and helpful instructor and i couldn’t have done it without him. He was never late to a lesson and always done the most to help me on my journey of passing. Honestly couldn’t have asked for someone better!

Fantastic experience: I had lessons with Darius and can’t recommend him enough! Started lessons in Feb and he helped so much to get me test ready & helped build my confidence as a driver. Never had an issue with booking lessons in and planning them in around my work schedule. Would definitely recommend others to learn with him. Thank you to Darius :)

Fantastic experience: I passed my  driving test in my first attempt with help of driving instructor Mr. Yonis Rahimi,  he is an excellent instructor and always on time , helpful and friendly. Yonis helped me not just for exam and also able to teach how to drive in real world situations . I would give him 5 star to my driving instructor. My only concern with smart learner is their feedback system which is not real class feedback , they send some automated feedback about driving lesson which is not helpful , what we did wrong and where should be improve is missing in the feedback system.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test from Coventry in the first attempt, Thanks to instructor Naheed Nawaz. I learned driving from Naheed at SmartLearners. She taught me the basics and details of driving here in the UK and also how to not get intimidated by all the rules. Due to this I was able to enjoy driving during my lessons.

Diana has been the best instructor to do lessons with, she has taught me so much that I will keep forever to ensure I am safe on the roads. Fantastic experience: Pete is an absolutely fantastic manual driving instructor and made my whole experience learning to drive extremely enjoyable and memorable. Not only is Pete’s knowledge, experience and road IQ extremely impressive but he was patient and understanding and he also made the lessons extremely fun and had me looking forward to every lesson. I passed with 2 driving faults and I would, without doubt, highly recommend Pete to anyone looking for lessons regardless of prior experience level. I will definitely miss my lessons with Pete!

Fantastic experience: I passed my test first time on Monday after completing the 30 hour intensive course with my instructor, Pete. I could not recommend him enough. He was wonderful to work with and supported me throughout the whole journey. I progressed so much in a short space of time and thoroughly enjoyed my driving lessons with him. A BIG thank you to Pete for everything!

Positive experience: I began my driving experience with Naheed, she was lovely and taught me very well and even went out of her way to do 6am lessons as my work schedule was hectic. I then couldn’t continue lessons as I had no time with my work so didn’t schedule anymore lessons. The office then called me and told me I had to be took of the system because I hadn’t booked lessons in a week or so which now has left me to have to try find a new driving instructor now my work has calmed down which is a shame

Fantastic experience: After coming from a previous company I hadn't had the best experience with, the smart learner team were very helpful in arranging me to start with a new instructor. shortly later, they also arranged a test for me which my instructor Naheed recommended an intensive course in the run up and it was worth all the time and effort. I passed first time with only one minor fault which made me even more impressed. Naheed is a lovely individual, we have had great conversations and it was always a a friendly environment around her. her teaching style drives every individual to strive to be their best. the most effective way to describe her in comparison to other instructors is they taught me how to pass a test, Naheed taught me to drive in the real world. I could not recommend her enough as well as the entire smart learner team.

Fantastic experience: Used smart learner having failed my test two times previous and finding some other companies just want your money. I then began taking lessons with Chris and I passed with him in a pretty fast time scale. Chris was patient, friendly and had a great way of putting me at ease and providing positive input. I am eternally grateful for the support he has given and would highly recommend him. Thanks Chris.

Negative experience: 0 stars. Abysmal service. Cowboy outfit with very questionable behaviour towards the young learners when things go wrong. They do not know the areas they cover and this presents unnecessary risks. Avoid at all costs; you have been warned. Mustafa & Konkee.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with smartlearner, especially with Naheed who helped me pass first time with only 2 minors. I’ve had experience with other companies but none compared to the way Naheed taught me. Not only was she patient with me, but she helped me gain the confidence and skills needed to be an independent safe driver. She was amazing at her job and even made the whole process seem easier and and so much fun. Couldn’t thank her enough for helping me through this, and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I initiated my driving journey with Dave, who taught me the fundamental skills, but I had to find a new SmartLearner instructor due to my limited availability which I was reluctant to do because I thoroughly enjoyed every lesson with him. However, I was glad I did because I never would have got to meet Naheed. She has been amazing and patient with me; she goes the extra mile for her students even teaching me at 6am once because of my work schedule. From the get go she made me feel so comfortable and even better she got me test ready and as a result I passed first time! It’s bittersweet because I’ll miss our lessons. Fantastic experience: I took my first driving lesson with Raj 10 months ago.I was a bit nervous as I had not driven before but I would like to thank Raj for all his help, support and patience over this period. He provides a clear, simple and easy approach to learning each of the different aspects of driving and I felt my confidence and techniques improved very quickly. Fantastic experience: Before Smart Learner, I had lessons with many different driving schools/tutors, but I didn't feel supported by them. Then I tried Smart Learner and was matched with Diana Torabi. Diana has been an absolutely amazing teacher! She breaks things down into simple terms to help with understanding everything. She is kind, patient and never gives up on you! I was very nervous and anxious at the start of my driving journey, but Diana took her time with me and ensured I was supported throughout. Yesterday, I passed my test and I truly could not have done it without Diana! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Passed my test with Naheed as my driving instructor. Naheed made me feel comfortable and confident during my preparation lessons for my exam. She made sure that I was fully prepared and we've done multiple mock exames. Thanks to this I passed first attempt.

Negative experience: This is a fake school. I was taking Lessons from this school for last four years. In a very slow and lazy way my Instructor (Moh) taught me to drive so it took me 4 years. And check your record that definitely my total Lessons would be one hundred OR above one hundred. My Instructor Moh intentionally stressed me while I was driving. His teaching method was really unprofessional and extremely slow. He always discouraged me that I can't drive. He just wasted my money and time. Whenever I told him get me done properly and he always said why are you in such a hurry. Even my Theory Test date will end on February 2024. He is not honest and responsible Instructor. His teaching style was very stressful for me. He was not punctual and sometimes he dropped me ten minutes early and got full 1 hour lesson money, which was not quite right. It's true your main priority is to make money + More More and More Lessons and that's it. You don't know what are you teaching. Earning money is really hard and you wasted a lot of my money. Finally I have booked my practical test in March 2023for September. I had a test on 8th September and my Instructor Moh refused to take me to the test center a week before the test. All his emphasis was on taking more and more Lessons. But it was my big fault too that I should have left him a long ago. I had been noticing from his teaching style for months that he didn't want me to take the test. Deliberately he was dragging my Lessons for so long. Just teach me the right and left turn in 20 OR 30 speed streets OR roads and sometimes roundabouts. How long have you taken so much money from me and refused to go the test center. If you didn't want to take me to the test center, you should have told me but you giving me Lessons because of the greed of money. You only emphasised on the Lessons. You guys only make money by fooling people. You fool people by saying that you are not ready for the test yet. And all this was pre planned a week before the test. And at the end, he did cross the limit and told me take 2 hours Lessons and cancel your test. He forced me again and again for test cancellation and stressed me. But when I refused, he used very harsh words for me. He doesn't know how to talk to ladies. He had no right to pressure me to cancel the test. And when I called the school and complained about it, the lady just said that I apologise to you. Who will compensate for the loss of my money and time. Definitely I will not recommend this school to anyone. Because I have extremely worst 5 years experience with this school, they only gives Lessons for lifetime.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test with Jag as my driving instructor. Jag is a friendly instructor who tailors the lessons to meet the needs of the student. As a result I always felt relaxed and comfortable whilst learning to drive, this led to much more progress being made than with my previous instructors and me passing my test in a timely manner which was something that was important to me. He kept the learning experience engaging and was always very knowledgeable and ready to help. The results speak for themselves, 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Had my lessons with Naheed, doing a 10 hour intensive course. I found this really helpful as I managed to progress so much in a single week, going from quiet roads to going on the motorway within that time. Naheed was really helpful during my lessons and I would highly recommend her. If your looking for a patient instructor who can get you progressing quick Naheed will get you that. She also managed to step in last minute, 1 day before I started which I am very grateful for.

Fantastic experience: I am extremely satisfied with my progress since switching over to SmartLearner, my driving instructor has been patient with me and provided me with good feedback to improve my driving, since the switch I’ve been feeling more confident in my driving. It’s great that he helps me visualise when / where I make mistakes.

Fantastic experience: After my first lesson today with Yonis, I must say he is an excellent instructor. He helped to ease my phobia for driving with his patience, friendly, and kind words. In just one lesson, my confidence level has really come up. His teaching style is well structured with clear guidance. I highly recommend Yonis. Fantastic experience: I am learning with Nisha who is so patient, when I'm fed up of my own mistakes and lost patience with myself 2 miles behind me, she is always lovely, she does everything in an order that makes sense, prepares me well for everything I am going to learn in the lesson, I always know what I'm doing next, and she explains everything really well. If i make a mistake she ensures i understand, so i am able to prevent it happening again. Very grateful I have been able and continue to learn with her. I have also sat in a couple lessons with my partner who is being taught by Naheed. She is so sweet, she is a chatty lady who makes you feel at ease, she is also very patient and kind, I like that even though I was just observing my partners progress she would check in on me too. I think Smart Learner must have a wonderful team based on the 2 instructors i have met.

Negative experience: Never ever book your lessons with Smart learners , they are really unprofessional. Once book your time and appointment for lessons and on the day of lessons they change time and date and outs you in trouble. I booked lessons for today at 6 pm and at 4 pm Instructor message me that today he is busy and can give lessons and Sunday or Monday... instructor put me in trouble and i have paid for 5 hrs. Never recommend this Agency.

Negative experience: Heard about it from a friend. Cancelled my lessons last minute due to instructor emergency. Thats fine but did not provide alternative instructor or rebook lesson. Take payment a day before but refund it after weeks. Quite disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test with Tommy last month and after 3 previous instructors through different companies can easily say he’s the best, he has your best interests at heart from the beginning and wants you to pass as much as you do. The lessons were enjoyable and I can’t thank Tommy enough for everything he taught me!

Negative experience: This place is a scam . They talk very polietly and customer service is really good but when it comes to lessons their main priority is to make money -they will compel to take more lessons even though you are ready .They won't take you to exam center for practice ever after asking them to do so they just do merry go round in 20's or 30's road . I took 20 classes and they asked to take even more and said won't give their car for practical exam untill I do so .So I took my car and passed with 2 minors . few of my friends took class from smart learners and have same experience .won't recommend any .

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with my driving instructor Naheed, who was very patient, friendly, and skilled. She helped me feel at ease behind the wheel and provided constructive feedback that helped me improve quickly. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Been learning from my instructor Naheed for a couple months now and its safe to say she has helped me increase my confidence driving especially after not having any past experiences behind the wheel. She’s patient and a great person to be with as she makes you feel comfortable while being on the roads. Definitely recommend her if you’re looking for an instructor.

Negative experience: AVOID!!! They only after your Money, do not book with them. After I changed the agency with DGN it took only few lessons and Passed straight away. They will keep putting you down and change the date further to get more money out of you. They are not there to teach you properly but only to get more money out of you! TRY DGN OR AA instead of Smart Learner

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Aqila from SmartLearners. She is very encouraging and patient and took the time to help me understand what went wrong and came up with different ways to correct any mistakes. She is an excellent teacher and it is evident she genuinely cares about her learners. Could not be happier with my experience!

Negative experience: Impatient driving instructor who would shout, and didn't deliver all lessons that were paid, leaving me 1 lesson short after paying for a lesson package. Be aware drivers are self employed, Smart learner will try to dodge responsibilities using sneaky fine prints in the T&C. Better off going private or another driving school.

Fantastic experience: Naheed is a great driving instructor, her teaching is very laid back and fun yet alert, accurate and helpful with her feedback. She always make sure I have fully understood the feedback and gives prompts when needed

Fantastic experience: Naheed is a very good instructor. She is very patient and friendly with me. During the driving lessons she was always quick to point out my mistakes and work on them later in the lesson. Under her guidance I have become more and more proficient and I have become more confident in driving. Many thanks to my instructor Naheed, I passed the road test at Coventry.

Fantastic experience: Although I have 23 years of driving experience in India, I started learning to drive as per British standards through smart learner with the help of instructor Rajesh. I passed my driving test yesterday in Nuneaton with 0 minors. Rajesh is extremely skilled and talented in driving and explains very clearly and precisely. According to me, there is nothing that he dosn’t know related to driving profession and driving rules. Ask him anything you want, he will give you the answer. His language is easy to understand and professional in teaching. He has immense experience who teaches driving instructors too apart from normal learners like me. To me he went extra mile in not just teaching to drive but also tweaking me on eco friendly driving. Rajesh helped me at the last moment to arrange a class a day before the test by sacrificing his time after working hours and also gave his appointment the next day to take me to the driving test as per my request. I recommend him for driving classes those who can adapt easily to his teaching and like his style of teaching.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with my experience. I pre paid for 10 hours of driving lessons - had 1 lesson and I was unwell after this. Due to my medical condition I have been advised not to drive, I explained this to Raf who told me I cannot be refunded for my hours nor receive my hours back due to the account being inactive for just over 6 months. Despite medical evidence, I feel like I’ve been scammed as this was never explained to me only in small print. Would not recommend due to this.

Fantastic experience: Had a great time learning to drive with Raj. His instructions were clear and easy to follow. If I had anything I did not know I could always ask him. He is always communicative and I feel he really values providing productive learning opportunities each lesson. All in all a very reliable instructor and I passed my driving test on the first attempt all thanks to him.

Fantastic experience: As a first lesson i had a very good experience with instructor Naheed, Very kind and explains everything by step, She don’t mind doing things over and over again till you get everything without pressure, the way it has to be, would recommend her to anyone who want to learn☺️

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test 2 days ago . My teacher was Mohammed Farukh Khan. Before I met him , I attempted the exam 4 times and failed . He was best instructor I could ever ask for . During all of my lessons , he was understanding and calm. We worked through all of my weaknesses which made me feel confident for my test . I would highly recommend Mohammed Farukh Khan.

Fantastic experience: Rajesh (Raj) is experienced and systematic in his teaching. He is clear and concise in his instructions, very patient with me, and would cater his teaching to my needs/ personality. He is calm, very patient with me, and will use reasonable critism, but never unfounded discouragement. His language is easily understandable, and he has extensive knowledge regarding the driving test from experience. He is thorough in exam preparation, will give mock tests to assess your chance to pass, and is very familiar with test routes in and around Coventry

His a highly experienced instructor who continued to motivate me despite wanting to give up on many occasions. Fantastic experience: Honestly if anybody suffers from anxiety or has had bad instructors in the past then please use smart learner and ask for Muhammed allom. He is an amazing instructor and he is patient and very positive he also tells you when your wrong even if you think your right but if you go into the lessons willing to learn then you will get along with him great! honestly don't think I would of PASSED my test today if it wasn't for him and I honestly can't thank him enough! so please ask for him!

Fantastic experience: My daughter was really nervous about meeting her driving instructor as she has autism and ADHD, but from the moment she met Diana she was totally put at ease. Diana is the most patient, understanding and kind lady you could meet. Deryn was delighted. Diana did wonders for Deryns confidence and in a very short time she was ready for her theory test, which Diana helped her breeze through. Before we knew it she was ready for her actual driving test and she passed with flying colours. Without a doubt, this was all due to Diana being excellent at what she does. Thank you so much Diana.

Fantastic experience: Aqila was my instructor. In December we started our first lesson. In 2 months taking around 28 hours i gained the essential knowledge and practice to pass FIRST time. So glad to have her as my instructor and may God bless her.

We started our lessons in December and in two months and a bit she managed to prepare me for my test and to pass it. Very patient, especially considering the fact that I never sat in the driver seat in my life. She knew how to assess my way of learning and potential and adjusted our lessons in such an efficient manner to not waist anyone’s time and money.Very lovely and professional. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've had driving lessons previously but it was only when I came to smart learner and met my driving instructor Diana that I actually learnt how to drive confidently and passed my test first time.
