Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test, first time with Suhail! Suhail is a great instructor, he was always patient with me and gave me all the tools I needed to pass my test and drive safely. I would 100% recommend Suja Driving and Suhail to anyone looking to learn how to drive.

Negative experience: I paid a total of £600 for 20 hours manual block as I had read so many great reviews with Suja Driving School and thought there wouldn't be any issues. Unfortunately however, I experienced the opposite and am now not able to get that £600 back. In the space of 3 months I had only completed 2 and a half hours worth of lessons. My instructor had a lot of personal matters to attend to, my instructor was late to lessons and I would still not get the full hours worth of lesson despite them being late. Booking a lesson was difficult within itself as my instructor stated he receives many messages from other students therefore it would just get lost therefore he recommended ringing instead. Whilst I did attempt to ring, there were many occasions where they would be in a lesson with another student therefore I would have to ring another time however sometimes there would be no answer. Lessons were constantly delayed. I then told my instructor that I would like to switch to automatic and asked if I could receive a refund, to which the response was that they had spoken to Suja Driving Company and would not be able to get a refund, my only options were to give remaining hours to a friend/family member or complete my remaining hours. So I chose to complete my remaining hours yet I have not had a single lesson since again due to poor communication. I emailed Suja Driving School now to ask for a refund several times, however time and time again this request has been rejected. Whilst it may be stated in your policy that refunds are not available, there should be special circumstances as this is not fair and there are many students who work hard for their money. £600 was lost for nothing.

Positive experience: Unfortunately I have not been able to undertake any lessons with Suja driving school as an instructor they were going to assign to me is no longer available. Yet I am pleased with the amount of notice the schools have given me (I initially paid a £270 deposit 2 weeks ago for 15hrs. Lessons were planned to commence from the start of November). Their customer service has been good and speedy. The school have said I will be receiving a full refund within the next few days - looking forward to receiving this and booking elsewhere as I am really keen to learn how to drive. Will continue to watch their TikTok lives as I find them very informative :)

Fantastic experience: Before I started taking my lessons with suja I had 2 different instructors who would always make me feel like I couldn’t do it, wouldn’t help me much, kept me on the same roads for hours, they would drive me there and back so I wasn’t even getting my moneys worth and they charged soo much. They really manipulated me into thinking I had the issue within myself I really did lose my confidence in driving to the point I wasn’t even trying to book myself in for lessons. However when I joined suja after getting told by many friends and family members the instructor I got just made me drive. He could have started me from scratch but didn’t. He made me drive so he can see what I was capable of. The lessons where really fun there was so much conversation not only about the driving but how I am doing how work is etc. it made me feel less nervous and anxious when driving as previously all my confidence had been knocked out of me. It really felt like a casual drive than I lesson. I did gain so much knowledge on how driving works and what to do. After some time when I joined a new work place my availability to take lessons wasn’t the greatest yet my instructor made it work out. He never gave up on me one bit some points I wanted to give up yet my instructor would tell me to not give up I’m so close to passing. Having that faith in me made me very confident and now I have finally passed.

Negative experience: No refunds, no hours transfer. Be careful when buying lessons in packs. Good and patient instructors

Fantastic experience: I started driving with Halmat from Suja at around the end of May and i have just passed after 20 hours! Halmat was lovely to learn from, always polite and funny and on time every time. He would always try his best to squeeze me in around my working hours and even taught on a few of his days off. I appreciate everything he has done for me! Suja were also very fast with connecting me to an instructor despite there being quite a high demand. Would very much recommend!

Fantastic experience: Nagi from Suja Driving School is the best driving instructor I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to drive around the Manchester area. He is very knowledgeable and has a great way of teaching. He knows how to build your confidence with driving and is always encouraging you to do better as a learner driver. He identifies your mistakes and helps you correct them. Nagi always explained things clearly until I understood and took time to explain everything thoroughly, so you don't repeat the same mistakes or bad tendencies. I was provided with lots of encouragement and support within each lesson. This meant that I was able to pass my test first time as a beginner with little driving experience, I couldn’t have done it without, Nagi!

Fantastic experience: Farooq has been THE BEST driving instructor I’ve come across ever and I’ve been through many throughout the years. He’s super patient, explains everything clearly, even though I’m not a native I can understand everything perfectly! He’s so genuine, really care about his students and want the best for you. I am so lucky to have been introduced to Farooq from my friends who all have learnt from him and passed 1st or 2nd time. Negative experience: Got quoted the wrong price. Signed a contract and then was told after weeks of wasting my time that there was a “typo” and I have to pay more money if I want to continue. No response on emails or calls. So apparently they made mistakes and typos simultaneously on 3 occasions - 1. On call when quoting me a price 2. On payment website description 3. On confirmation email after payment To me that sounds more like deceptive practice than honest mistake. I do not recommend them to anyone. You’ll loose your time and might even miss important test dates because of them. And also when I called them the representative very rudely said “I’m not here to argue with you. It is what it is and all I can do is issue a refund and cannot honour the contract”

Fantastic experience: Passed first time with Halmat Aziz who kindly stepped up for a test day hire when no other instructor was available. Amazing instructor and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: Do not go with this school. They do not care about your safety on the road. I had a driving instructor called Hammid from Stockport and all he did was sat his backside in the passenger seat on his phone and left me to my devices. I taught myself how to drive. He didn't do nothing. He was annoying asking stupid and pathetic questions that was not needed. I nearly had an accident at one of Salford's busiest and awkward roundabouts because he was to busy on hos phone to see what is going on. Lucky that I did an emergency stop or I might not of been here to speak about it. Not only that. If you fail your test. Hammid makes you feel like rubbish after it. Like I did the worse crime ever and just basically ghost you. Therefore, if you going with this school. Make sure you get a different instructor than Hammid from Stockport. If you value you lesson time and money because I am now £1200 down and I will be taking it to court.

Negative experience: I contacted this company to enquire about lessons. The responses via messaging were extremely unprofessional. I felt like I was talking to a teenager. You’d think a company would want you to book on with them and pay them your money but it was more like they just couldn’t be bothered to be honest

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Ash as your driving instructor. I started my driving a while back with another instructor and I lost my touch with driving. I just didn’t want to drive again. Until my friend spoke very highly of Ash and I agreed to do a lesson with him. The first lesson I was extremely nervous on meeting Ash but the moment I got in I was very comfortable and at ease with driving. Ash helped me a lot in just one lesson, so I was extremely happy to continue my driving. Ash is very polite, bubbly and knowledgeable. I am extremely happy I have passed first time, thank you for everything Ash.

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend, I took the speedster course with 20 hours and in just under three weeks of driving I passed my test. Negative experience: Do not recommend, booked a 10 hour intensive crash course in March which should have been started within a week and meant to only last around a week also. Was provided with two lessons since I paid and it is now June. I have my test booked for early July and wanted this completed in april so i was confident and had time to drive around in my own car for practice feel completely let down, asked for a refund on two occasions as i was clearly missold a package that wasn't provided to me and could gave just paid for two lessons out of my pocked rather than the crash course I have not received. Had no other choice than to contact my bank and let them know what has happened, so will see what comes from that as I've given them time to refund me the hours I didn't get.

Mr Adil is extremely knowledgeable and from day1 he had been building the confidence with clear and neat instructions. In my case I had a bit of previous driving experience . Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience with Suhail from Suja - I never felt rushed or pressured, any time we had a misunderstanding it felt like he was as motivated as I was to resolve it and get back on the same page, and generally had great banter and chat while I was driving which helped me relax and prepare for my test. Fantastic experience: Passed my practical and theory in a month! Completed an intensive / speedster course as a beginner driver doing 28 hours over a month long period. My instructor, Chris, was fab and tailored my lessons to my needs so that I was prepared for anything that could happen during my test. He was very informative and reassuring, and always left me feeling confident about my driving. The school’s fast track ensured that they were able to book a test for me within a day of Chris requesting one. I was able to book a specific date window at my desired test centre (West Didsbury) within the final two weeks of my lessons. Highly recommend this course and Chris as an instructor!

Thanks to her guidance, I was able to build up my confidence and develop good driving habits. I highly recommend taking lessons from Suja, particularly with the instructor Etedal!!

Negative experience: Avoid!! I spoke to them in Feb, explained that I had my test booked for 2nd of May, they assured me they could place me with an instructor in good time and took a £120 deposit off me. I have heard nothing since, despite me reaching out on email, phone (they don’t seem to staff their phone line that well) and WhatsApp. Their entire model seems to be to get money off you as quickly as possible in the form of deposit and then not honour their word, because they know that you’ll be tied to them having already sunk the cost of the deposit in. Honestly, look elsewhere.

Negative experience: Bad experience. Do not recommend Midia, who was not great during classes. He also let me down on the test day with a broken car. Did not apologise, and it's been very difficult to get my money back (been left short). Suja does not get involved with disputes with instructors as the latter are self-employed, so I'm having to raise with DVSA. If you do get allocated Midia, I would strongly recommend changing asap and definitely do not give him any money directly (go through Suja so they are more obliged to help).

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with my instructor Somaiya. Despite already having a license I haven’t driven in 8 years. My refresher sessions with her have been extremely helpful and I’ve gained more confidence along the way. Her patience and encouragement is highly appreciated!

Fantastic experience: I am extremely satisfied with my driving lessons experience with Irene. She is calm, kind and professional, kept teaching me how to drive nice and safely. She is very dedicated and keeps reminding details. She is an amazing instructor. I recommend everyone taking test in Manchester to take lessons with her. She will definitely make you pass. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test yesterday with only 1 minor with Faisal Kerk. He has been a brilliant driving instructor, he is friendly, he explained things clearly and helped me to feel confident driving. I recommend Faisal, he went above and beyond helping me book a test, changing some times when needed and dropping me off at a different location. He also made me feel very comfortable in the car and was easy to chat to.

Fantastic experience: I had a lovely experience with Suja driving school. My instructor was Lee and he is such an amazing person. He is very patient and i managed to pass my test at the 1st attempt. Fantastic experience: I just passed my test with Ete from Suja! I highly recommend her! Ete’s guidance and way of teaching makes driving so straightforward. She’s always punctual and always accommodating with lessons. She’s an amazing instructor especially if you feel you’re an anxious learner. As a super nervous learner, Ete did not just teach me how to drive she supported me massively with building my confidence and controlling my anxiety. Fantastic experience: I want to take this opportunity to thank Suja and their instructor - Faisal Kerk, for getting me swiftly up to speed and ready to drive with confidence. I took an intensive crash course of 15+ hours, in which he helped me to quickly understand the basics, identify and rectify my weaknesses, and ensure readiness for all scenarios. Fantastic experience: Today I passed my driving test. It’s been a long road for me, driving doesn’t come naturally to myself. After around 4 instructors, Suhail my final instructor provided me with excellent guidance and ensured the typical errors I would regularly make were rectified. Fantastic instructor, he was always proactive in notifying me of any serious faults and wouldn’t focus too much on the minor faults which helped a lot for the exam and for maximising the use of each lesson. Additionally he was always timely when starting lessons and was even fair with me at times I couldn’t pay immediately which was massively helpful

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test 1st time with no minors! My instructor Hinda was amazing: super professional, always punctual and has an amazing amount of patience. She got me completely prepared for my test in just 25 hours over 2 months of intensive lessons. Can’t recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Mr Ahmed Raza .Ahmed was very friendly and quite professional during the lessons. He was very meticulous with the lessons and made a lot of effort to correct my mistakes patiently. He made time out his schedule to give me consecutive classess just before my test. He was always clear & supportive, firm when he needed to be, but always professional, reliable, and easy to get along with. As someone who found learning quite an anxious experience, over my time with him, Suhail managed to help me in getting rid of the majority of those nerves, and we got to the point where I passed first time with two minors.
