Fantastic experience: I took a one-on-one DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme training course with Steve from RideSmart-UK. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and I feel a gained a great deal from it. I have recommended this course to my mates.

Fantastic experience: I had a one-on-one DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme training course with RideSmart which turned out to be a truly fantastic learning experience! Probably one of the best “motorcycle riding investments” – in terms of time and money – I have ever made! Rich, my instructor was very experienced, kind and highly professional After an initial assessment he gave me some constructive and positive feedback as well as “life-saving” advice on how I could not only improve my riding style but make it much-much safer! After the short discussion I followed Rich who showed me in action how I can eliminate my weaknesses and enhance my riding skills. Finally, I had to implement everything I had learnt by leading the way whilst Rich was guiding me through the two way intercom. Overall, the day course was an amazing learning opportunity which could be highly beneficial for any rider whether one is newly qualified or has been the roads for decades. I cannot recommend RideSmart and above all Rich highly enough! Thank you so much for teaching me.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to return to bikes after a 20+ year break, and understandably my wife was more than a little concerned. We both agreed it made sense to take it easy with my first ‘familiarisation rides’ within a few miles of home, then enlist a watchful eye providing feedback on my riding habits, and then practice improvement towards Advanced level. RideSmarts Back to Riding course immediately appealed and I completed the on-line enquiry form. I was very quickly contacted by Steve who asked about my experience and goals and was very helpful in suggesting his colleague Rich may be more convenient as I wanted to get underway asap. Rich being based in Kidlington was more convenient, and so messages and calls were exchanged and a date set for the Back to Riding course. I have to say communications from both were excellent, leading to us meeting up for face to face introductions and getting underway. Rich was very calm and professional in explaining what he would be doing- letting me ride as normal but taking directions from him via the supplied intercom. This was really helpful as Rich knew all the local roads and told me in plenty of time when and where to turn etc. We stopped after an hour or so and I got some great feedback to think about- years of driving in cars takes a while to adapt from in terms of giving myself space and a 2 second gap. I then followed Rich who gave me running commentary on why/where he positioned before we swapped over again. My second ride felt far smoother having adopted lots of helpful tips and I’m so pleased I booked with RideSmart. I cannot recommend these few hours enough for somebody returning to biking. Both myself and my wife are far more confident with me being on the road again. My thanks to Rich for his patience and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I recently took a Back to Biking class and had an absolutely fantastic experience! It was really great to be back on the bike, and the class was exactly what I needed to regain my confidence. Rich was a fantastic instructor — extremely knowledgeable and incredibly patient with me. His clear instructions and supportive attitude settled my nerves and by the end of the session I felt far more confident on the bike. Highly recommended to anyone looking to brush up on their riding skills!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this course to all riders at any level of experience. The course was structured really well and everything was explained clearly. Our instructor Rich was excellent, keeping the ride relaxed and free from the stress of feeling like you’re being judged, whilst still providing plenty of helpful feedback and tips to improve. I feel much more confident as a rider having taken this course ahead of my full A license test.

Fantastic experience: ERS is an absolute must for any new rider. It gave me a huge much needed confidence boost and it also helped me learn safer riding techniques they don’t teach you on a DAS course. Big thanks to Steve, who was also my DAS instructor at Quickstart. Incredibly patient and friendly. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Had my Training with Steve today, Everything we were going to do was explained very clearly and straight away i knew this training was exactly what I needed. The structure of the training was excellent, with Steve understanding how I ride then explaining my shortfalls and demonstrating the improvements I should make then putting everything I’d learnt into practice. All along everything was explained really clearly. Having ridden bikes for many years passing my test in 1978 with no training. I feel the advice and training I have now had I should have had years ago. In just a day I feel a lot safer, more in control of my bike and have a much higher level of awareness. On top of this, Steve is a great guy, an excellent trainer and puts you at ease. By the end of the day it felt like I’d known him for years. In my opinion every rider would greatly benefit from having this training.

Fantastic experience: Newbie rider here. I recently used RideSmart to gain more confidence on my 125cc. After passing my CBT I didn't know how to get more experience on the road without throwing myself into the deep end too soon. RideSmart were brilliant - they travelled to me so that I didn't have to make that first step on my own locally and rode with me coaching me along the way. I felt completely at ease and it was all taken at whatever pace I wanted. Really reasonable prices and really approachable friendly staff who I could have a joke with as well as being professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in future if I need anything and highly recommend. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: ok

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. FANTASTIC! having ridden on and off for years, was great to have a ride out with experienced instructor Richard. He was calm, relaxed and friendly which made the whole experience enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone who is nervous, needs a refresher and/or wants to get great tips on riding safely or general feedback on riding. I had fallen into some bad habits and with guidance and some tips made my riding much more fluid and less fraught. Thank you Richard, will take on board all of your tips and enjoy my rides a lot more relaxed and safe.

Fantastic experience: Il have been riding for many years and decided to take my Advanced Driving test, to see if I was acompetent and good rider. Ride Smart we’re very helpful, excellent communication between myself and trainer. Richard was my trainer and was extremely professional and gave good feedback and advice, immediately making me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone who is a regular rider to take the course and would recommend Ride Smart with out hesitation . Fantastic experience: A very positive experience . A day of non-judgemental observation and positive coaching tips and suggestions that I could put into practice straight away. I tried them out on the way home and felt much more confident. I don't ride very often and this was really good for me. Adding to my riding skills and safety but also revisiting the basic good practice. I was nervous as it was with my brother in law but Rich' was very patient and professional so I soon relaxed and got into the swing of riding. I really would recommend the extra training. Rich' and Steve both have lots of reviews on the QuickStart Oxfordshire site.
