Fantastic experience: Had an absolute blast with these guys!! I was struggling with my confidence after a bad experience with a previous instructor. These guys were great! Very patient, talking you through each step and figuring out where you're going wrong until you've got it! I passed both Mod 1 and 2 first time thanks to Leo and Ash. I'm so grateful! Even got a mug at the end. Really appreciate it, looking forward to seeing you all again when I come back for my unrestricted licence.

Fantastic experience: Just did my CBT 1-day course with them and they were amazing and so welcoming! I was nervous because I had never been on any type of motorbike before. We did the course on a scooter and I really progressed a ton throughout the day, and I did my 2 hours on the road with no issue. Huge thanks to Shaun who is a top notch instructor! He was super supportive and also gave me confidence and space to practice. I passed and if I ever decide to do my full bike licence, I will definitely do it there!

Fantastic experience: I knew very little about these guys before I booked to do my mod1 and mod2 training. A friend of mine had passed with them a year before and told me they were the best and not to use anyone else. He was spot on, these guys really want you to pass your test, the kits all super new, as to are the bikes, everything is clean and well maintained. They have no interest in racking up billable hours, if they can get you passed straight away they do. The staff are fantastic, Ash, Colin, Leo and Paul I had dealings with. Calm, direct, super polite but honest, all advice always coming from a really good place. Having seen how another training company operate I can appreciate how shires really are in a League on their own. I would like to say a special thanks to Ash for his super firm patience, a natural born teacher, I couldn’t fault the man. And to the legend that is Colin. Many thanks guys

Fantastic experience: Cannot reccomend shires enough to anyone thinking of doing any part of their bike licence from start to finish they have been more than helpful with every aspect of the thorough training they offer and getting you ready for your test. The whole team from the office staff you book everything with to the instructors and boss handle everything extremely professionally yet still super friendly making the entire experience less stressful and really enjoyable. Fantastic experience: The best riding school by far, after reading all the reviews and having no riding experience at all I signed up with shires and honestly everyone there is amazing, they make you feel so comfortable and will explain everything until you understand and are feeling confident, started with no experience at all at the start of September and mid October I've completed my modular 1 and going for modular 2 soon. Trust me anyone wanting to go for their motorcycle licence give Shires a call and I promise you won't be dissappointed. Good Luck

Negative experience: I was this school for 3 times the instructor didn’t teach properly , I rode a motorbike with the instructors for 6 hours with all the mistakes but they didn't warn me about anything, and charge mot then the other school ، Nothing matters to them except money٫ horrible school and instructors, never recommend it, I changed this horrible school went to the other school with 2 hours lessons none any fault I passed my mod 2 test with reasonable amount, I was good rider but when I went to shires school I forgot everything because about the inexperience instructors ‘ lesson guys don’t do my mistakes don’t waste money get better school teachers

They’re informative, calm and they’re years of experience really comes across. They’re also great guys. Thank you again for getting me through MOD1 and 2.

Fantastic experience: This place really is the place to go if you want to pass. Did my CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 with Shires and thoroughly enjoyed it. They are just as keen as any one to get you passed and avoid further training and they really know this game. The equipment is excellent but it is the staff that are the real game changer. Exceptional knowledge and guidance, stern when required but absolute great fun and company at all times. Ash and Colin were so confidence inspiring and knew exactly how to get you to pass those tests first time. Can't recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I took both my A2 and A licences with Shires. The standard of tuition is excellent, the bikes and gear provided are also first class. Furthermore, the courses are great value and I would highly recommend Shires to anyone getting their licence for the first time or upgrading their licence.

Fantastic experience: Trained with John and Colin over 2 days. Both very patient and experienced riders which made passing my DAS Mod 2 a breeze. Trained at multiple schools and Shires have been the best by a country mile! Absolutely recommend!

At first I was abit nervous but with the amazing help of Collins guidance and tips, my confidence was back and I loved every moment.
