Fantastic experience: My instructor was Jon, an incredible driving instructor and life coach. He has helped me build up so much of my confidence on the road and outside of driving in the past year. Passed first time with 3 minors. Thank you Jon for being so patient and believing in me, I’m really going to miss our lessons and Frankie(dog)! Best driving instructor I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: Das is the best driving instructor I’ve ever had. He’s so patient and honestly makes it such a pleasant experience. I’m gonna miss our lessons, that’s how much I enjoyed them. I passed first time with Das and I’m neurodivergent so struggle with directions, especially in the mirror, but Das got so creative with the way that he taught me it made it easy to understand. I’ll never stop singing his praises, if you want to learn how to be a driver, both before and after your test, Das is your man! Even when I drive around now I still hear his words in my head!

Fantastic experience: I learned on automatic with Pete and I was so pleased with the experience. Pete was calm and helpful, and one of his best qualities was his patience. If I made a mistake, he wouldn't get angry or dwell on the issue, he'd just make sure that I'd learned from it and was safe. That's what I needed. He made me feel confident, and this really helped me pass my test.

Fantastic experience: Instructor Pete is extremely knowledgeable and patient with me, as I am a first time learner on automatic car. He explains and demonstrates all the necessary skills I need to pass the test. And the extra lesson and advice right before my test is very useful, which helped me nailed it on my first attempt. Fantastic experience: My son Charlie was a really nervous and unwilling driver but with Daniel's skill and support, Charlie passed first time and now really enjoys driving. Daniel is an amazing teacher and I cannot recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test today and I have been doing all my lessons with Jon Bates! Such a great instructor if you are in West Bridgford. He was so good at making me feel confident too as I was a very nervous driver and I passed today with ease!

Fantastic experience: I had automatic driving lessons with Pete over the last few weeks in preparation for a pre-booked driving test. I’d had several manual driving lessons in the past but just found the test day so overwhelming, I decided to make the switch to automatic to try and ease a bit of the stress. Pete was very thorough and supportive of me over the last few weeks and switching to automatic was the best thing I’ve done! Pete doesn’t just teach you to pass the test, he is an absolute perfectionist and wants you to be an all round good driver. Pete listens to what you want to focus on and tries to push you to be the very best you can be. I really enjoyed our chats and felt very comfortable with Pete from our first lesson. I’m so happy to now have passed my test and I would like to thank Pete for all of his support ☺️

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking lessons on and off for over 10 years with numerous different instructors, never feeling comfortable or confident in my abilities, that was until I started learning with Jon. He made every lesson something to look forward to. Jon made sure that the atmosphere while learning was fun and comfortable, all while refining my skills and ensuring I didn’t lose my confidence. Fantastic experience: Amazing quality of teaching from Jon. It took a while building my confidence and Jon was there to help me improve. Fantastic experience: I have known Pete (Peter Mawer) since before/during lockdown 2020 and have been having Driving lessons on & off since then without even having a driving test booked sur to the long waiting period, Prior to this I have driven for over 08 years in Africa/Asia. It isn't the same here in the UK due to the strict speed regulations and road signages which could get overwhelming and put the best of drivers to test. I was over confident and that needed to be addressed, Even though Pete & i have a very friendly relationship he was very strict and always picked on the very smallest of faults with relation to MSPSL routine, I got schooled almost every time and i am so very grateful i did which assisted and guided me to be a cautious and alert driver and get me my driving test Pass (license) promptly. Pete is a very professional & Sincere trainer and i highly recommend him. Thank you Pete and Accelerate Driving School

Fantastic experience: I passed my test yesterday first time with 0 minors. My driving instructor was daniel. He was very professional, kind and patient. He’s an amazing instructor and he’s someone thats easy to get a long with and have a laugh. Whenever you make any mistakes when driving he’ll explain to you what you did wrong and when you should have done then get you to practice until your perfect at it and makes sure you understand it. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. Definitely one of the best driving instructors out there.

Fantastic experience: I had many fantastic driving lessons with Mike earlier this year! A great guy who was really supportive and patient with me after having several setbacks due to the pandemic and huge waiting times for test dates. Even when I was frustrated with the delays, he kept me going, was flexible and I always had enjoyable lessons with him, becoming a confident driver. I finally got to take a test and passed recently with only 1 minor fault! Super happy with my experience and want to say a huge thanks to Mike for all his support!

Fantastic experience: I am happy to share that I have passed my driving test today (automatic, first attempt), thanks to Pete at Accelerate Driving School. Having had several years of experience driving on the right-hand side, I needed to transition to driving on the left in the UK. Pete went above and beyond to accommodate my unique needs and ensure a seamless experience. Straight away he gave me tips on how to be well-positioned on the left and approach the roundabouts. He put down notes every lesson, highlighting areas where I needed improvement and focusing not only on how to pass the test, but how to become a better driver. Pete was very patient, especially with my deep ingrained bad driving habits and my closeness to the left curb. Although he could be your strictest examiner, Pete luckily is an exceptional instructor whose enthusiasm is contagious, making the learning experience enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Pete highly enough. He got my daughter through her test with one minor. Unlike other instructors I hear about Pete is not just teaching an individual how to pass the test but teaching you how to drive and make you aware of your surroundings when driving which in my view is key. Lessons were always enjoyable due to the ease of conversation, constant clear instructions and reassurance. This led to less pressure coming towards the test time. Fantastic experience: After my first couple driving lessons I realized that I was quite the reckless driver. Luckily for me I found Mike at Accelerate Driving with whom I managed over the last few months to improve my driving skills considerably. So much, that I am happy to say, I've passed my test today on the first try and with just one minor fault. I could not recommend Mike enough for the job that he is doing. It took a lot of work to get me here but he was very patient and recognized all the aspects where I was struggling and what I had to improve. A massive thank you!

Fantastic experience: Thank you, Jon, for helping me pass my test recently. I passed the first time even though the car I used had only driven once or twice, and that's down to John's instructions. I found that very approachable wave understanding hard drive. I would progressively build up your knowledge, allowing you to make mistakes but always learn from them. I think because of John's teaching style, my confidence when approaching the test was incredibly high, and I could assassin understand things for myself on the road. Fantastic experience: I have just passed my driving test today using Accelerate. My driving instructor, Jon, was instrumental in my passing. I’ve been through two different driving companies, and about 4 different instructors before I started lessons with Jon. I clearly had many struggles with those previous instructors that I didn't have here. My lessons were enjoyable, and everything was explained clearly and with patience. I went into my test with confidence and passed first time. I strongly recommend this company to anyone learning to drive, especially those with bad previous experiences.

Fantastic experience: I must admit it has taken me a little while to decide how best to share my experience with Accelerate. Pete gave me an amazing experience with my automatic lessons, before I went to him I had serious anxiety around being behind the wheel of a car. Not only did he help me with my quality of driving; he also helped me manage my own anxiety and made driving just another facet of life. Pete did a great job of getting me test ready, and was really accommodating with timetabling issues caused by the test centre, and I am glad to say I passed with flying colours. Couldn't recommend Pete, or Accelerate in general any more; a great teacher to help any student.

Fantastic experience: I passed recently after a handful lessons with Jon. He was by far the best instructor I had of the three driving schools I tried. He's a brilliant instructor, always very clear and friendly. He's very supportive and was encouraging when I was nervous about my test. We targeted specific areas I felt needed work, while also making sure anything he picked up on was included. Pete was a great Instructor during our lessons, I’ve been driving for more than 10 years in a different country and thought I already knew everything, on our first lessons he showed me that I had a lot of things to improve to be a better driver. He will make you a real driver and he is also a nice person to chat to during the lessons. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test last month, first time and with 0 faults thanks to Daniel. After 4 hours with an awful first instructor, I learnt with Daniel for a further 28 hours and was ready for my test. He is patient and puts you at ease when driving. He was always as flexible as he could be around my working hours which was really helpful. He was always very professional and genuinely cares about your improvement rather than just the money for lessons. Daniel is direct and to the point but in a friendly and funny manner, making it really easy to learn whilst enjoying the lesson too. Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: I know it’s easy to compliment your driving instructor once you’ve passed but I’ve had 3 in my life time. And honestly, Daniel James (SEAT) was amazing. Patient, but straight to the point, doesn’t beat around the bush, very professional, not trying to take your money and legitimately cares about improving you. Breaks everything down, instead of doing it all all at once which can be confusing. I started with him with 40 hours under my belt, after another 40 hours with him; I am 3 times the driver now. I will definitely recommend him in the future!

Fantastic experience: Drove with Accelerate over the course of 6 or so months and had an amazing time. My instructor was Jon who's quite the character. The lessons had a very relaxed vibe and I felt safe at all times knowing Jon was there. He's very good at understanding areas that need to be improved and taking you on test routes at appropriate times in your learning lifecycle. The lessons were never boring and filled with enough banter to keep me sane throughout the process. Cheers Jon and Accelerate for the experience.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Accelerate Driving School. I have dyspraxia and my instructor, Pete, was fantastic at helping me learn to drive. He made me feel very comfortable in lessons and was very patient, as over time, we both learnt more the quirks of learning as someone with dyspraxia. Pete was also very good at knowing when to pause the lesson, for a brief amount of time, to engage in small talk, which not only builds a relationship between learner and instructor, but helps with the lesson as it resets the brain, especially if a hazard has just happened. The lessons were always fun but also challenging. I had two lessons a week, for the majority of my time, and I always looked forward to them. Due to Pete's teaching, I ended up passing on my first test, with three minor faults, and I couldn't be happier. A very good experience all round.

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive was always something that had filled me apprehension and fear to a certain degree, I wasn’t a natural driver, previously I had lessons but had given up. With two young children life was becoming increasingly difficult without being able to drive, I made the decision to give it one last go and to learn in an automatic. I was recommended Pete and although it was very stop start due to covid and then the delay with booking driving tests, I stuck it out. With the help of Pete’s encouragement, he believed in me more than I did, and his great sense of humour, I passed first time!I would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: It was a pleasure to be taught how to drive automatic by Pete. He was patient but also challenged me to improve my driving, and I have now passed first time. Fantastic experience: I originally learnt with Dan in 2013 but didn’t continue for various reasons - start back with Dan last year and passed today first time. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test the first time today and it's largely due to Daniel Baines's (Accelerate Driving School) quality instructions, high standards, professionalism and encouragement. I do have some experience driving in other countries, but not in the UK, and within 5.5 weeks, Daniel worked with me to get me up to the UK's stricter driving standard. I would DEFINITELY recommend Daniel to anyone that would like to drive safely and well.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Accelerate Driving School. I passed my test last week - first time and with no minors thanks to Daniel and his amazing teaching. He is patient, professional and always makes sure I know what I’m doing before moving on.

Fantastic experience: I would like to take this chance to say a big thank you to John for helping me learn how to drive and giving me enough confidence to be able to take my driving test - even when things weren’t going my way. I passed my driving test yesterday morning and it was a massive relief! With the combination of John being so patient and encouraging it only took me 10 lessons before I was allowed on the road on my own!

Fantastic experience: I passed first time in an automatic car with Pete, and he was an exceptional teacher. I could not have asked for a better instructor; most notable was his patience, kindness, knowledge and assertiveness. As a result of Pete's teaching, I now drive with confidence and safety. I highly recommend Pete to anyone that is looking for an instructor that will provide productive and informative lessons, delivered with professionalism and calmness. I was particularly impressed with Pete's modern approach to instant and retrospective feedback; Pete used his iPad to demonstrate and visualise basic and complex maneuvers, and after each lesson I filled out a reflective writing entry to identify and correct any driving errors made. Overall I am thoroughly grateful to have been taught by Pete, and I would not hesitate in recommending him to any prospective learner.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Daniel at Accelerate highly enough. I took my test this morning and passed with no faults. Daniel has been a brilliant instructor - calm, clear and instilled me with loads of confidence. I really enjoyed my lessons with him and I've gone from feeling really nervous about driving to feeling confident and enjoying it.

Fantastic experience: I learned to drive with Jon after having a negative experience with a previous instructor. Jon was a fantastic and attentive instructor, I felt like I was making valuable progress with each lesson. I passed first time last week and I can't thank him enough! Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Mike in his red Ford Fiesta. I have really enjoyed my experience with Accelerate. When I first started driving lessons, I was nervous to be behind the wheel but thanks to Mike’s great teaching and supportive advice, my confidence has grown so much. I recommend Mike for an instructor, he’s helped me a lot and made me a much better driver.

Fantastic experience: I had lessons with Jon and can highly recommend him as an instructor, he is incredibly patient, really easy to get along with, good fun, and explains things really clearly. After a long break due to COVID-19, he gave me plenty of time to feel comfortable again, and after a few lessons back I passed this morning first time! I’d highly recommend Jon as an instructor!

Fantastic experience: I am really pleased to have chosen Accelerate Driving School to take my driving test with and would recommend them to anyone thinking of learning to drive. My driving instructor was Pete and he was very supportive and patient. I was delighted to pass first time and having a driving licence has opened up a lot of job opportunities to me after University. Learning on an automatic car made things much easier. It was also very helpful to have a short assessment and feedback at the end of each lesson, so I knew where to concentrate next time I was driving. I can’t recommend too highly!

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first time today so happy, my instructor Daniel in the black Ford fiesta Is such a good driving instructor and he is very understanding. He helps out if you struggle with any questions or anything with driving, thank you for everything and I would 100% pick this driving school. Also the prices are very fair.

Felt at ease as soon as I got in the car for the first time with him, and he made every lesson something to look forward to, as there was plenty of good humour to relax the atmosphere. Fantastic experience: Bec was my instructor and honestly couldn't have asked for a better teacher! As an anxious driver she built up my confidence in spades and was very patient, supportive, thoughtful in planning each lesson, always made sure I was comfortable with what we'd be focusing on that day and encouraging me to progress and push myself without ever feeling pressured. Passed first time, would 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Jon and I said at the start I wanted to pass in 3 months before I went back to uni and he always made sure I had enough lessons and tailored his sessions to suit my learning style. I passed first time and he's also good banter.

Fantastic experience: I've had a great time learning to drive with John, he's really patient, friendly and easy to talk to which makes the lessons something I look forward to.
