The idea of riding filled me with huge panic, but I made a commitment to overcome my fear in 2025. I signed up for my CBT course with the simple goal of passing and seeing how I would feel about riding. However, after one morning of training—thanks to the enthusiasm, humour, and expertise of Shane — I found myself loving it. Shane delivers top-notch training that is both fun and highly informative, with a strong emphasis on safety and attention. If you’re considering learning to ride, no matter your point, I strongly recommend DSK—you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I began my training October 2024 with no previous motorcycle riding experience other than as a pillion. I passed my CBT without much issue and was encouraged by David and Shane to go straight for my full bike licence. I had originally booked through Ride too and didn't really research the actual school. I am so glad it was DSK!! It is more than riding school where you are just another student. My confidence took a knock early in my training but the patience and encouragement from David and Shane have got me through and I passed my Mod 2 recently and am now the proud owner of a Hornet 750. I can't recommend DSK highly enough.

Fantastic experience: DSK , run by David and supported by Shane and team were fantastic with me and the other students I trained with. I signed up for my CBT course over a weekend in January 2025 with just an initial view to passing that and getting a 125cc bike to ride for a while to see how I found it. After 1 morning of CBT and really enjoying it, due to the enthusiasm and humour from the DSK team , I practised on a bigger bike and very quickly decided to start my journey to doing my full bike test. I completed my theory test, then enrolled again with DSK for my MOD1 and MOD2 training and successfully completed both tests by Feb 2025. DSK made the training fun and very informative with a large focus on safety and awareness. I strongly recommend any prospective riders to use DSK, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Took my CBT elsewhere but was by no means impressed with the quality of training, so turned to DSK for my full license - not least after reading loads of prior reviews and citations. Suffice to say I can only echo those sentiments after recently passing my Mod 1 and 2 under David's expert guidance. Great experience from start to finish - clear, insightful instructions that set you on the path to be a good rider, not merely to pass the test.

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT with Shane, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. When I moved on to Module 1 and 2, I really appreciated David’s clarity, experience, and ability to connect with me. He breaks things down in a way that makes tasks feel manageable and ensures you’re fully prepared for the test. One of the best parts of the Module 1 training was being able to practice on the actual Farnborough test course. This made a huge difference on test day. Fantastic experience: I did my CBT/MOD1/MOD2 With David and Shane, really great guys who will set you at ease straight away, great banter, and very good knowledge/expertise from them. David has been riding in many forms for a large number of years, so is one of the best in the business and what he doesn't know isn't worth knowing! I 100% recommend these guys to anyone, whether you are inexperienced and nervous, or experienced and confident, you'll have a laugh and learn lots. Don't keep looking, get booked in with these guys!

Fantastic experience: If you want to be taught to ride a motorcycle correctly and safely you cant go wrong with DSK. Their instructors are the best with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and above all patience. They will support and guide you through whichever course you want to achieve, and they make it a fun experience as well. As someone who has just completed their DAS course to obtain my 'A' license, i cant recommend DSK Motorcycle Training high enough.

Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT with DSK today. Shane is a great teacher. Patient, good sense of humour, helpful feedback. All the team are a good laugh alongside good teaching, except for Dave (joking of course) Heavy rain interrupted the course so they rescheduled with no drama. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Training with David was so much fun, he is a very patient man and gave me the right amount of push versus patience and I enjoyed passing my bike test first time (both mod 1 & 2)! Fantastic experience: Has been an amazing experience doing my full motorcycle licence training with David and the gang. Ultra experienced and a first class teaching approach.. I will recommend to anyone wishing to get their motorcycle licence under the best guidance you can ask for.. Everyone I've met has been lovely and welcoming and made me very comfortable taking to the roads.. Probably going to be a group of people I will see a lot more of in the very near future joing them on their social ride outs and events.. Fantastic experience: As a female and having done many CBTs not all my experiences with riding schools were great. In an already male dominated industry this can easily put you off. Dave at DSK gave me total faith again. He was brilliant. He is a fabulous instructor and can tell he is so experienced. He treated me the same as anyone else. He is calm , funny and made it so enjoyable which is also key to a positive outcome. He really went above and beyond for my bookings and to get my test done. He doesn't just do this for a job it's a genuine passion and it shows. He cares and really does his all to get you through. Anyone thinking about it /hesitant male or female I can't recommend Dave enough. The bikes were lovely to ride and he keeps them immaculate. When going to test centres and seeing the other schools, instructors & bikes I could really tell I made the 5star choice! I passed my test and will look into further training at this excellent school.

Did my A2 licence with another instructor who wasn't as knowledgeable or friendly, so glad I used David for my full A license, great sense of humour and easy to get in with! He also did my short girlfriends direct access course, and neither of us can fault him

Learning to ride at nearly 60 was not easy but David's calm approach filled me with confidence and passing my test was down to his positive and encouraging teaching method.I will go back to do some advanced riding when I've got some miles under my belt.

Fantastic experience: What a great overall experience going through my MOD 1 & 2 with David. He has a great way of teaching, serious when needed but also laughs at you for silly mistakes. Was very patient throughout and made me feel very relaxed which helped settle the nerves. He also takes you to the local ‘biker’ cafes which is a bonus. It also breaks up the day nicely so you can go over how the session is currently going. Would highly recommend David over other training centers in the area as I didn’t have the best experience elsewhere doing my CBT (poor timings, admin and overall structure to the day).

Fantastic experience: Learning with DSK has been a great experience and success for me. David was so patient and encouraging from the very first day (when I knew absolutely nothing), instilling confidence in me throughout my learning journey and getting me a pass in every test. DSK was also flexibile around my work life, meaning I could keep learning at times that worked for me. I couldn't recommend David and DSK more highly.

Fantastic experience: 5* should be the only rating given to David at DSK however he deserves so much more. From the first point of contact to the point of passing my MOD 2 I couldn't of asked for a better instructor. The knowledge he was able and willing to pass on was second to none, his passion for motorcycles and his flexibility to suit you be it for your training or tests was something I had not seen before. David has a 1-1/1-2 ratio which made you feel you were getting his full attention at all times. His sense of humour and general nature made you feel calm and at ease on every ride. Every little detail was covered, even things you may not think to look out for. You were made to feel part of a family by everyone at the DSK team and no matter the result you were supported right the way through. I would highly recommend David to anybody looking to start there journey in the motorcycling world. You will not regret it.

David is a very experienced and accomplished motorcyclist, but is able to understand and empathise with people like me at the beginning of their motorcycling journey. He is also happy to help and share his experience of topics related to motorcycling so that you feel fully supported with any questions. Fantastic experience: A chance meeting with David led me to taking the DVSA's Enhanced Rider Scheme with DSK. As someone new to motorcycling, that additional training was very worthwhile, not to mention enjoyable, too. At DSK you'll be made to feel very welcome and with David you'll be in the hands of an excellent instructor - very professional and thorough but at the same time friendly and personable. And it all comes at a fair and competitive price.

Instructor David is kind, patient, considerate and generous at all times and I can't recommend him enough if you want bike training with a pass certificate ( which I went for) but also you can gain more skills with the advanced riding lessons. Fantastic experience: Learning to ride a bike at nearly 40 was daunting, patience and one to one training was needed. DSK gave me the time, the care and the Knowledge I needed to learn to ride and pass my tests. Joining the social group was beneficial to me not knowing the "biking" community has shown me how to ride alone and ride as a pack, and a lot of laughing along the way! I would recommend anyone to learn with this guy!

The motorcycle I was offered to use was nearly new and well looked after. To top it up one of the cheapest schools in the area. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to get into motorcycles or just improve their riding skills.
