Negative experience: It is unfortunate that I have to write.a poor review, as I very rarely do. Martins communication skills are poor. in my case he did not reply to texts, voicemails, or give straightforward answers in time. I had lessons with Martin for 2.5 months before I switched to a professional academy.

That’s a shame you feel so aggrieved that you took your time to write this very untruthful review! My last contact with you was you cancelling a lesson on the day, then many weeks later one saying your back from being abroad, maybe you should have informed me to hold your slot? Alas being taken to hospital for 2 weeks might have stopped me from answering, but of course you you didn’t bother to try & find out a reason. I’m happy you’ve found another instructor as I wouldn’t have been able to instruct for another couple of weeks. I wish you luck.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend M&A Driving School! I had Martin as my instructor, who was very understanding and patient, and always made me laugh during our lessons which took away the nerves! Every lesson, he would ask what I felt I needed to work on, guiding me every step of the way and getting me test ready! He helped me pass my driving test, a great instructor, couldn’t recommend enough!

Negative experience: We came to Martin when we was working for LDC. He frequently would not respond to messages, cancel at the late minute or not turn up at all. My son had prepaid for a block of lessons. Martin left LDC and changed to M&A and didnt tell my son, though we had to chase through LDC to get hold of him because he still wouldn't return calls. We gave up trying to get the lessons and have asked for the outstanding balance to be returned and this has still not been forthcoming. Would NOT recommend. Edit- over a week has passed since Martin requested my sons bank details to refund him the outstanding balance and it has still not appeared and no further communication from Martin.

I’m very sorry to hear about the situation you encountered. It’s 2yrs now since I started on my own, same car same number same person but a different name, I’m not sure why this would affect you, but I take in consideration all the other comments you have made. I have to admit to not knowing who you are as I’ve never had a Pearsons as a pupil, but if you could get them to message me on my phone with bank details I would of course pay any outstanding balance?
