Fantastic experience: I had the most fun and enjoyable experience learning from Dave, completing both Mod 1 and Mod 2 for my full bike licence. He booked me in with short notice and we got the whole thing done in 5 days. Dave's 650cc bikes are easy to handle and well maintained. He is so calm, friendly, clearly experienced and certainly knows his stuff! Dave is genuinely invested in each and everyone of his students. I couldn't recommend a better instructor. He even introduced me to some other riders so we can go for a ride out together.

Fantastic experience: I got Dave’s number via a recommendation. Dave’s teaching methods were very composed and relaxed. He made sure he put me and other students at complete ease and this really helped me learn and build confidence. Riding round his local area there were so many people who raised hands to say hello to Dave, as I learned about many of his ex students. All of them had nothing but warm words. Through Dave’s help I Passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time round. I wholeheartedly recommend Dave as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: Recently had a 3 day full bike course with Dave. I would highly recommend his training courses, within such little time I started to feel comfortable on the bike. The training was explained well and instructed to a high standard making it easy to understand what was needed of each exercise. The bike that Dave provided was comfortable and easy to manoeuvre when learning each exercise. I would like to thank dave again for all he’s support and guidance on helping me pass both module 1 and 2 .

He’s not like the company’s out there who are just there for your money, he really does want you to pass and will help you get that licence.. Fantastic experience: Dave was absolutely remarkable at teaching me how to handle a big bike. Passed both mod 1 and 2 first time with little minors. Dave is quick to assess and advise how much training you’ll need with very competitive pricing. Each lesson was incredibly enjoyable, with the bikes being a pleasure to ride and very comfortable, he has one to suit taller riders too. Would highly recommend him straight away to anyone looking to get on a bigger bike and pass with flying colours!! Update as of 2023 - done my full A with Dave, returned with full confidence as I knew how good of an instructor he is. So two tests, 4 modules. Passed each one first time, if that doesn’t give you the confidence to go with Dave, I don’t know what will! Recommending him to all the bikers wanting to upgrade, I send them Dave’s way.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dave highly enough. Both me and my partner went to Dave with no experience with big bikes and gears. We made some mistakes which knocked our confidence a bit but Dave was very patient and supported us all the way with encouragement and great advice. I am glad we chose Dave as our instructor and did not go to a big riding school, his approach is very flexible and tailored to the rider needs. We could not have asked for a better instructor, thank you!

Fantastic experience: I like Dave, a cheap and cheerful one-man band school with no nonsense. Good bikes with indicators alarm, heated grips and gear indicators. I got my license with a 3 days course when other schools recommended 5.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dave. He helped my pass my CBT and then both mod 1 and 2. An excellent instructor who helps you feel at ease with riding and makes the whole training process an enjoyable experience. Definitely the place to go to if you want to learn to ride the big bikes :)

Fantastic experience: David has given me invaluable experience on a ‘bike bike’, having used both mopeds and manual 125cc bikes for several years. He is extremely calm and knowledgable, and only wants the best for any rider under his tuition. For the sake of SE London and Kent students, lets hope he doesn't retire in a few years!

Fantastic experience: ‘Look no further’. I always wanted to do my full motorbike license but after a couple of accident on 125cc it put me off. Finally Have to take the plunge. Found Dave on google search which luckily just lived around the corner. Dave was very calm, professional and takes his time to teach you and make you feel relax in every situation. No short cut here and if you want to learn, ‘look no further’ Dave is your man for the job. Thank you mate.

Fantastic experience: I didn't have any experience on a bike except from a moped when I was 15... David took time to explain and is a great teacher, as a result I pass both my mod 1 and mod 2 the first time! Can't recommend him enough! Hopefully we can go for some Belgian ice cream in the near future!

Fantastic experience: I am an older rider and haven't been on a bike for 30 years Had a bit of a horrific experience with phoenix driving school which is a bit of a factory just churning people through. So after reading the reviews choose dgrider to try again. Dave is a top guy,he is knows everything and teaches it to you well. I failed my mod 1 but he doesn't book your test till following week so you don't loose your money. He got me through mod1 and mod 2 which he does in Tonbridge Wells which is great not much traffic no massive roundabouts..Also I had to have more lessons and he didn't rip me off just paid very cheap extra day.Thanks again Dave..really really recommend him 5 stars

Fantastic experience: From start to finish the training has been top notch. I had never ridden before and sufficient time was taken to allow me to feel confident and progress and gain skills to ride a bike, not just to pass the tests. I recommend anyone to use Dave to get trained up. Even if you have to travel for it, it's definitely worth it.

Fantastic experience: Been driving a 125 for ages until finally deciding give the full license a go - and I was very lucky to be recommended to Dave for my full training riding! Dave was super patient with me and my struggles to master some of the mod 1 manoeuvres and in all fairness - I would have probably quit having to had any other trainer! Regardless of your experience I will def recommend giving Dave a call!!

Fantastic experience: Dave was recommended to me by multiple colleagues of mine, who really spoke highly of him. And having just passed my full Cat A license with him I can see why. I originally started training with another bike school before the covid lockdown but fell at the last hurdle on my Mod 1 on the hazard avoidance. Flash forward 6 months and while training with Dave he was able to iron out a few bad habits he had spotted in my riding. Thanks to Dave's training I was able to sail through both the Mod 1 and Mod 2 with ease and confidence. Honestly the difference between the two riding schools tuition was like night and day. Fantastic experience: Recently learnt to ride with Dave at DG Rider Training. I can honestly say you will not find a better place to learn to properly ride a motorcycle than with this gentleman! Not only did Dave settle a very nervous me through Modules 1 & 2, he has made me a better, safer and more confident rider all round. I can’t recommend DG Riders enough! Fantastic experience: I recently passed both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 bike tests with Dave. He made me feel at ease from the beginning, and I enjoyed every day of my bike training, it never felt like a lesson! Dave's method of building manoeuvres from day 1 meant I was confident when it came to my mod 1 test. The road riding I had done in the training days meant by my mod 2 test I felt confident on the bike and it felt like just another day out riding. Fantastic experience: Took my lessons with David an can honestly say hand on my heart he is one of the nicest, patient and calmest instructor you would ever get. He is a fantastic instructor exactly what you from an instructor. Me and my pal took lessons with him and we both passed due to how good the teacher is, so thanks to him would definitely 100%.

Fantastic experience: Having previously always trained and tested with Phoenix training, I quickly realised how superior DG was, for the first time I felt confidence, compared to nerves which is all that was instilled by certain Phoenix instructors. Very glad to have come across DG Training, as otherwise I might have failed my test a second time! Excellent quality training was provided for the time frame I had, would definitely recommend over any other local training centres.

Fantastic experience: David is incredibly patient, kind and generous. Each lesson was done at my pace and were incredibly fun! He teaches you how to ride for life, not just for the tests. He will go the extra mile to make sure you are confident and comfortable for the tests with plenty of tips and tricks from his experience. The bikes are in excellent condition and were a nice introduction for me to learn how to ride v twins! Thank you Dave, I don't think I'd have enjoyed riding as much if not for you!

Fantastic experience: Completed the three day DAS course for an A2 licence. Passed both Mod 1 and 2 first time. Dave is a phenomenal instructor, tailored the training to my needs. Helped me to lose the bad habits I picked up riding a 125 for a year. Dave also booked a practice session at a Mod 1 test centre which really helped a lot. Bikes are brilliant and very well maintained. Could not have asked for a better instructor. See you in two years Dave for my full A license.

Fantastic experience: Ages 25 I had never been on a bike in my life before day one with Dave. 5 days later I was doing my Mod 2 and passed with flying colours.. I felt so confident with Dave from the moment My CBT started on day 1. I would highly recommend Dave and have done to many people. After passing my test I then purchased my R6 and went onto the R1 within 6 months. I have no doubt Dave give me the confidence, time and support to feel that comfortable on 2 wheels and anyone thinking of taking there test should use Dave. I have also never had an accident in the 4 years of riding and I think that is also a credit to Dave. Dave also occasionally leads day trips to Belgium for all his ex students.. This is such a good day if you ever get the opportunity to join. Adam

Fantastic experience: Did my direct access course with DG Rider training and can not rate highly enough. Took me form never being on a bike to skilled rider in just 5 days. The course was tailored to my learning needed and small group size meant plenty of feedback to ensure i was safe on the roads once the course was over. 10/10. You will mo be dissapointed
