Fantastic experience: Ian was an excellent instructor. His teaching is calm and logical. Ian was reliable and flexible with lesson times. I felt confident going into my test and passed. All round, my experience with Ian Bush driving school was very positive and I would definitely reccomend.

Fantastic experience: I passed first time with Ian. He's a fantastic instructor and very easy to get on with. He helped me boost my confidence, understood my nerves, and was patient with me if I made mistakes. I'd definitely recommend Ian as a driving instructor to anyone wanting to learn.

Fantastic experience: Had two refresher lessons, on main roads and motorway. Found Ian to be very patient, and professional. He gave me the confidence to resume driving after a seven year break. Would recommend his services to others.

Fantastic experience: I started learning in October 2024 and I passed my test first time on the 5th of March. I couldn't recommend anybody more than I recommend Ian! He was an absolutely fantastic instructor to have. His teaching is clear and easy to understand, and whilst learning to drive will always be intimidating sometimes, his communication with me during lessons greatly reduced any stress or worries I had, especially as we progressed onto roundabouts and bigger roads. His honesty and clear expectations for me were also extremely helpful as I knew exactly what I'd done well or what I'd need to improve on after every lesson. Aside from his great teaching, Ian is a friendly person who I could always chat to. He always replied quickly to me on text and was very accommodating for any situation I presented to him. I can't thank Ian enough for helping me to pass and it has been a pleasure to learn from and get to know him, no lesson was boring with him and I will miss looking forward to them every week. I fully recommend him to anyone!!

Couldn't have asked more from you .... you did your lessons every week, good questions during lessons and a positive approach to your training. Despite no additional private practice you managed to get to a high level of driving in a short period of time which is a reflection on your commitment. Fantastic experience: I passed with 0 faults with Ian as my instructor. Not only have I learnt to drive safely, but Ian’s reassuring and motivational teaching style has boosted my overall confidence. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to drive.

I think you are not giving yourself enough credit, you stuck to your lesson plan, got your private practice in on a regular basis and were single minded in your plan to get to test. By the time it came around you were more than ready and I had no doubt you would pass although the zero faults was the cherry on top.
