A2B Motorcycle Training Ltd

Proven Track Record and High First-Time Pass Rates

Operating as one of the most rapidly expanding motorcycle training schools in Yorkshire, A2B Motorcycle Training Ltd has built an enviable reputation for consistently delivering high first-time pass rates. The institution specialises in a comprehensive range of rider development programmes, including Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), Direct Access schemes, restricted licence preparation, and advanced assessment courses. Additionally, the school offers dedicated back-to-biking refreshers and a distinctive residential 'Bed & Biking' package designed for immersive learning.

Students consistently highlight the organisation's ability to transform nervous beginners into confident, capable riders. The curriculum goes beyond merely passing an examination, focusing instead on long-term road safety, advanced handling techniques, and the genuine enjoyment of motorcycling.

At the core of the school's success is a dedicated team of highly experienced instructors, frequently praised by learners for their patience, clear communication, and professional approach. Trainers at A2B are known for adapting their teaching style to each student's unique pace and skill level, ensuring that complex manoeuvres are mastered without unnecessary pressure. Former students frequently mention how the coaching team helps overcome initial anxiety and builds lasting confidence.

• Customised lesson pacing tailored to individual learning curves
• Patient, encouraging coaching that prioritises skill acquisition over speed
• Advanced rider development covering touring, track techniques, and off-road preparation
• Comprehensive feedback provided after every practical session

Modern Fleet and Purpose-Built Training Grounds

Learners benefit from access to a well-maintained, diverse fleet of motorcycles, allowing students to practice on various makes and models that suit different riding styles and licence categories. The school operates from two strategically located centres in Church Fenton (Tadcaster) and Cookridge (Leeds), both equipped to provide optimal training environments. The Church Fenton site, situated near a former airfield, offers ample space for essential MOD 1 practice, while the surrounding roads provide ideal conditions for building confidence in traffic for MOD 2 preparation.

Reviewers consistently commend the immaculate condition of the training bikes and the professional setup of the facilities, noting that having the right equipment available significantly contributes to a smoother learning experience.

Efficient Administration and Exam Scheduling

One of the standout features highlighted by the student community is the school's proactive approach to logistics and exam coordination. The administrative team handles test bookings directly, minimising waiting times and ensuring that practical lessons are strategically scheduled to align perfectly with the official examination dates. Even during periods of high demand or external disruptions, the staff work diligently to rearrange sessions and keep learners on track without compromising quality.

• Direct test booking management to avoid lengthy council queues
• Flexible rescheduling adapted to individual progress and availability
• Clear guidance on theory preparation and practical next steps
• Transparent communication through phone and digital channels

A Student-Focused Culture Built on Trust

What truly sets this institution apart is the overwhelmingly positive atmosphere cultivated across both centres. Students consistently describe the experience as professional yet relaxed, with no pressure or arrogance from the staff. The emphasis on building trust, celebrating small milestones, and providing honest, constructive feedback creates an environment where learners feel supported from their very first lesson through to licence acquisition. The high volume of returning students and enthusiastic referrals strongly attest to the school's commitment to rider development and customer satisfaction.
