At C&A we constantly push for excellence. All of our instructors are a minimum of DAS certified, we also are the only centre who can deliver DVSA ERS training in this area. We are a MCIAC Gold accredited training centre. We are IAM 1st, RoSPA Gold and Advance Rider/Instructors.
Come and visit our on-site shop, textile to leathers, helmets, gloves and boots, plus many other accessories, we have something to suite your needs, come and take a look.

Negative experience: My wife took her first CBT with these guys. She was doing the yard work in her words OK, not stalling the bike... Making the turns. He didn't take her out on the road or invite her back and she was actually told to go and ride around field... (it's now put her off motorcycling)

Thanks for taking the time for the feedback Vinnie. We listen to all our feedback and use it to improve where we can. Our records of the day you describe show that your wife was struggling to gain safe and full control of a geared bike and as the day moved on and the struggles grew, she found it hard to deal with these pressures. The Instructor did suggest she try an automatic bike, in order to simplify her need for control and to relieve the pressure she was undoubtedly feeling, with the potential to then return to a geared bike once her confidence was back. Your wife declined this option, continued as before to the point she and the Instructor discussed if it was likely for her to complete the CBT that day. Whilst the Instructor offered to take the time to continue to train her, she declined and decided on her own to leave at that point. The Instructor advised she would benefit from riding her own geared bike in a private area (so it was legal) to gain confidence in handling a geared bike so as to be able to return and finish the CBT. We at C&A Motorcycle Training strive to get everyone to the standard required to be safe on the road and not a risk to themselves or other road users. As can be seen by the rest of our feedback here, we have a reputation for working well with our clients and getting great results. Our ambition at the start of every CBT day is the same as that of our clients, to have them take away a valid CBT certificate and we use whatever resources we have to try and make that happen. We would welcome your wife back to continue her training with us once she has a little more confidence in her own skills on 2 wheels and we would be happy to discuss this directly with her.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience great instructor made the whole day a an enjoyable time knowledgeable helpful took the time to explain everything in a relaxed atmosphere learnt great deal more than I expected

Fantastic experience: Brilliant from start to finish! I was nervous about doing my geared CBT but Chris very quickly put me at ease and taught me everything I needed to know. Very clear and concise instructions and guidance in a friendly manner. Really nice atmosphere at the training centre - chatted with other customers who were with other trainers doing their DAS. They were quick to say how impressed they were with the training and to encourage me to do my DAS. Would absolutely recommend C&A - even if you're nervous about getting on a bike, you'll be in safe hands. Thank you :-)

Fantastic experience: Legends I wanted to do Direct access full category a licence after not riding for 10 years. These guys are above an beyond professional they Planned organised trained and got me though both mod 1 an mod 2 tests first time started my training with Steve an finished with Richard with bespoke training to suit individual requirements. If your thinking of doing your bike licence These guys are the best in the Area. Cheers guys

Fantastic experience: Done my CBT with these guys, first class instructors! Very informative, very easy to learn from and get along with, would highly recommend. Very well organised, had very good communication and had lots of tips for future reference.
