Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Jo enough - she is very patient and understanding of those that have driving related anxiety. I had so many wobbles and doubts about my ability, but she knew when I needed a break and when I needed an encouraging push - I wanted to give up so many times, but she knew I could do it. I passed my test years ago now and, whilst I’ll never be the most enthusiastic driver, I know I have the skills needed thanks to Jo! She’s also really good at reading people - on lessons that I found easier where I felt more confident, we would chat away and try out the elements of driving I found more difficult which built my confidence further. When I found lessons more trying or worrying, she would know how to focus my attention and reinforce elements of driving I felt more confident with, so I still felt I had achieved in the lesson and improved my driving in some way. Having tried other instructors, this definitely is not a universal approach and it certainly worked for me having Jo cater the lessons around my capabilities as much as she did.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience driving with Jo. After a bad experience 10 years ago I put it off completely but she eased me straight back in. She's friendly, kind, patient and a wonderful teacher. She explains things to you rather than just saying don't do that she tells you why and has taught me not only how to drive the car but how to be a good driver.
