C&A Motorcycle Training

Negative experience: My wife took her first CBT with these guys. She was doing the yard work in her words OK, not stalling the bike... Making the turns. He didn't take her out on the road or invite her back and she was actually told to go and ride around field... (it's now put her off motorcycling)

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience great instructor made the whole day a an enjoyable time knowledgeable helpful took the time to explain everything in a relaxed atmosphere learnt great deal more than I expected

Fantastic experience: Brilliant from start to finish! I was nervous about doing my geared CBT but Chris very quickly put me at ease and taught me everything I needed to know. Very clear and concise instructions and guidance in a friendly manner. Really nice atmosphere at the training centre - chatted with other customers who were with other trainers doing their DAS. They were quick to say how impressed they were with the training and to encourage me to do my DAS. Would absolutely recommend C&A - even if you're nervous about getting on a bike, you'll be in safe hands. Thank you :-)

Fantastic experience: Legends I wanted to do Direct access full category a licence after not riding for 10 years. These guys are above an beyond professional they Planned organised trained and got me though both mod 1 an mod 2 tests first time started my training with Steve an finished with Richard with bespoke training to suit individual requirements. If your thinking of doing your bike licence These guys are the best in the Area. Cheers guys

Fantastic experience: Amazing day today spent out on the Bikes with Chris doing my CBT. Awesome site, great sectioned off area to train before hitting the road. All training tailored to the student. A real school that doesnt just hand out an attendance certificate. If you want to be safe and prepared use these guys and earn your CBT. Will be back to complete my DAS. 100% reccommend.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic training! Passed first time with zero minors, would not recommend anyone else! The prices may be a little higher but it is 1 on 1 training (most places it’s 2 per instructor) gave me all the guidance I needed to be a brilliant rider! Cost me around £900 for everything

Fantastic experience: Passed my mod 2 today 3 days before my 60th birthday, I cannot thank Richard and Steve enough, I came in with them with my confidence shattered and in the first lesson with Richard I was enjoying riding again as he put me back together after a bad experience with another riding school, then Steve took over and upped my skills and enjoyment for my mod 1. Richard then took me for my mod 2 which I passed first time. They have an instructor to suit everyone and will match you up perfectly. These guys are the real deal, they don't just chuck you through to pass a test they make sure you are a good and safe rider. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Booking over the phone was very easy, the guys explained everything that I needed to bring. The staff are very professional, also great to have a laugh and a joke with. The course covered everything you need to know regarding maintenance of the bike, basics on how to ride, the theory and lastly the 2hr ride on the road. I was nervous about going on the roads but I felt safe with the instructors riding with me. Couldn’t recommend a better place to get your cbt done. Thanks guys.

Positive experience: Today I had my cbt with Chris, I am a very nervous 51 year old who hasn't ridden for years. I was that nervous I nearly didn't turn up! I'm glad I did turn up. Chris made me settle very quickly and was an amazing, patient trainer. He didn't make me feel silly if I went wrong, just encouraged me for next time. Without a doubt I would recommend C&A to anybody that wanted to do their CBT or bike test. Absolutely amazing company and people. Fantastic experience: I started my motorcycle journey with these guys back in 2016 for my first CBT up untill my final test this year in 2022 for my full A licence. If i hadn't have stuck with this company throughout and taken in all the advice and riding tips, i wouldn't be in a position today where i feel absolutely confident on anything 2 wheels. Nothing but praise for this team and appreciation for guiding me through. I recommend this company to anyone i speak to that is getting into or levelling up their motorcycle licence, and will continue to do so. Fantastic experience: Took my CBT here and the experience was amazing. All the elements of the test was done professionally, our instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly which helped calm my worries as I was a little nervous about the last element when we go out on the roads. Throughout the time we was going to Downham Market the instructor made me feel calm as he made me feel confident in how I was driving and taking the lead at my own pace, so I didn’t feel like I was being pressured by other drivers that were behind me.

Fantastic experience: Feeling a little apprehensive about how the day would unfold, I was happy to have my worries calmed by Jack our instructor for the day. He put us at ease with confident reassurance, and made sure we were clear on the key points, before moving on. Observing us closely, any potential obstacles to our progress were quickly identified and remedied. This all made for a productive, informative CBT course, one that was successful and enjoyable in equal measure. I would highly recommend C&A Motorcycle Training, whether you're an inexperienced novice starting out or a motorcycle petrol head wanting to further their bike riding skills. You won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: I had Jack today for my 125cc cbt, I couldn't of asked for anyone better, he made sure I knew what I needed to, never at any point did I feel rushed or uneasy, very very easy guys to talk to had a real laugh 100% recommend these guys,

Fantastic experience: I was really impressed by how calm and knowledgeable our trainer (Chris) was, especially since I was quite nervous. He successfully took us through our CBT test and answered all of our questions. I wish we'd been given the heads up that a packed lunch was necessary, but other than that, I could not recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I used these guys to retake my cbt at the start of June (sorry its taken so long to post my review) they were amazing. My instructor Chris was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. In the time I've been riding after my time with Chris I've never felt safer on the roads. Highly reccomend to anyone that needs to do any form of motorcycle training

I cannot recommend him enough - extremely knowledgeable, thorough with his teachings as well as keeping it light-hearted and jovial. I would strongly suggest you request lessons/trainings with him. All the other staff I interacted with there were also very pleasant.

Made me feel relaxed providing me with superb tuition. Their bikes are well maintained and are in perfect condition (not something all riding schools achieve). Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Jack & Chris at C&A after they were recommended by a friend, fantastic experience, very friendly and makes you feel at ease ( Jack's a character in himself ) I would highly recommend C&A motorcycle training to anyone looking to learn how to ride a bike.

Fantastic experience: We attended for a days CBT training at C&A. Our instructor Chris was fantastic. We were welcomed onsite and had a quick tour. The classroom based stuff was concise and well presented, and Chris made it relevant to our personal circumstances and aims. Out on the concrete pad we were introduced to the mopeds in a gentle way (being fairly nervous clients!) and the day was definitely tailored to our individual needs. We had loads of fun trying out a variety of skills. The pad has road markings set up for practice before the real thing. After a break for lunch we headed out on the road, radioed up to the instructor which was incredibly helpful. Chris talked us through the road layout, pointed out the road signs and how we could respond to them. All round great day, and our nerves were calmed the entire time by the professionalism and personal tailoring of the course. Will definitely be back to C&A in the future! Thanks Chris and thanks Richard for allowing us to come along on the date we did!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended, knowledgeable, up to date training. Nice facilities, really enjoyable instructors. I can honestly say now I've passed my test I feel really safe on the road. My training wasn't just to get through the test but build experience, confidence and knowledge. Fully intend to return to do the enhanced rider training in the future.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal instructors, they really do go the extra mile for their pupils, they helped me pass both my mod 1 and mod 2, all within 4 weeks.

Negative experience: Where to start! Did my CBT here had fun and learnt a few things overall good day. This is where it starts to go down hill, I booked in for some lessons to work towards my A license, first lesson went well no problems apart from not getting the 3 hours bike lesson you pay for you spend 20 mins sitting in a cafe with a coffee! Lesson ended with me booking another as was eager to get my test done, this lesson didn’t go so well, I was sent out on a bike that was not safe to be ridden despite saying twice that the bike didn’t feel or sound right I was told to carry on until eventually the instructor heard the noise, we headed back for what I thought would be to swap bikes but no, They tried to fix it in my lesson time (40 mins) of the time I had paid for wasted with not even a sorry or offered a partial refund. I foolishly booked another lesson which again was appalling 15 mins in the comms unit failed due to a flat battery so we had to head back and change it, another 20 mins in and the second comms unit fails to stay connected to the instructor so we head back again, 3rd time lucky hey? No not at all 3rd unit has the worst screeching noise in my ear ever I was then told to head back for a 4th time to be told I don’t have any more comms units so I’ll have to owe you half hour!! I spent 2 hours out on the bike to get no further than the town centre each time! Between tests I was asking for a mod 1 and 2 date to be told there are no tests available and that I wasn’t ready, but they are more than happy to take my money for a mod 1 practice at the Dvsa site even though no tests were available!! Needless to say I was more than frustrated so I found a new instructor who was amazing her name is Louise from Middas bike training ah took me out once and said I was ready let’s get your test booked so 3 weeks after ditching C&A bike training I have my full bike license with mod 1 and 2 passed first time within 5 days of each other!! All C&A were interested in was getting my money they make you pay for the lesson before you start and charge you for 3 hours that you don’t get. Don’t get ripped off and look elsewhere......

Fantastic experience: Hi all! In my opinion, this is the best riding school out there. Friendly and very patient's instructors, really professional way of training. Focused on all aspects specially safety. They will teach you not only how to pass your test, but more importantly they will prepare you on how to ride safely. I had no previous experience on motorcycle, and today I feel more and more confident with every ride using all what I was taught. Massive Thank You to all instructors.

Fantastic experience: Completed my cbt today! Had Jack train me and another lady. He was very nice, got on well and had some laughs. He was happy to let us have a break every now and again when we asked and explained things clearly. Top chap and would highly recommend. Thank you very much!!

The instructors are personable, knowledgeable and competent, the bikes are well maintained and the learning environment is second-to-none. Fantastic experience: Perfect day, clear instructions on my CBT I'm a bit deaf but I had no problem hearing what's going on, would recommend Wayne walked away as if we was mates!! Will be going for my big bike test with these they don't put you under pressure and make you nervous Five stars, Just an update have just passed my big bike test and a big thank you to Mark and Specially Richard as I was out 80% of the time with, terrific lads, very professional but very at ease. Just note Richard may seem picky, he isn't he just wants you riding to the the best of his knowledge and he basically wants you staying alive and being safe, in my eyes that called professional, these guys don't make you ok riders to pass they make you into great,safe and aware riders so you won't fail, 3 minors out of 15 in 2 tests what's that tell you and I only got my knowledge from them by listen,understanding and taking it in as I wasn't a biker rider, so hats off fellas nice training

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing place, nice and friendly trainers. It is also reasonably priced and weekends are available! I had a great time doing my CBT, the best place I have done my training (my third time passing it). I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
